Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
Matt Young replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Snitsky would quickly remedy that situation. -
MVP Baseball 2005 will be on sale for $19.99 beginning Sunday, March 13th, at Toys R Us. Man, I could've saved $15 if I had waited to get both baseball games. Oh well... I've had too much fun with MVP to have waited.

I thought he was a lot younger than that. Then again, Czech can tell you how good I am with guessing posters' ages. Regardless of what people think of CronoT though, Chrono Trigger is still a fucking awesome game.

Have you actually played all those games? That's quite a few for only having it for 6 days. But I guess it wouldn't be too difficult if you were playing daily and not spending a lot of time with other games. Also, which do you like better? MLB or MVP? Do you play either online? I know I'm not exactly your favorite person, but I've barely played either game on Live and I need some competition. That goes for the rest of you as well. I want some online play. It's too bad most people here don't own MLB 2K5, because it'd be cool to get a league or at least a tournament going. I guess we could do a league with MVP, but wins and losses would have to be kept track of on the board or another site since there is no league system in MVP. If we did do that, though, we could play unranked games so that they could go the full 9 innings, if that's what people would like.

I've played a few games of MVP over the last couple days after setting it aside for some MLB 2K5 (which I still don't much care for) and a return to Halo 2 online after 2 weeks. I'm now 13-5, tied with the Athletics (with whom I have a 3 game series after one more game with KC) and Cubs for the best record in the majors. The A's series will be tough as they are averaging 6 runs per game to my 3 or so. I just finished a 2-0 victory over the Royals. Jose Contreras pitched a 2 hitter, the first complete game of the season by any of my pitchers. I was tempted to put in Shingo Takatsu so he could go for his 10th save in I believe 11 tries, but I let Contreras go the distance instead. I realized for the first time that the position players get tired and need a day off every once in a while. Some guys had energy as low as 69%. So for this game, I had a ragtag lineup including Carl Everett replacing the .333 hitting Willie Harris at 2nd base/leadoff, Ben Davis replacing A.J. Pierzynski, who was coming off a 2 homer game, at catcher (since AJ's a lefty and we were facing a lefty pitcher), and the just-created #37, Matt Young, replacing Scott Podsednik in center field. My created guy went 1 for 4, but I'm going to give him about 3-4 more games for evaluation before I decide whether to keep him on the squad or demote him to the minors for further development. Paul Konerko has been in a horrible slump, having several 0-fers lately. His average is down to .181. I moved him down to 6th in the order as a result (from cleanup) and he went 1 for 4, but that 1 hit was a home run. Go figure. After a couple more games (should be tonight or tomorrow), I'll be 1/8th of the way through my season. I plan to be a quarter of the way through before the real MLB season starts, and I hope that this game will be the first non-football game that I finish a full length season on. I'd like to play at least 2, but at 162 games and with all the other titles I have (plus Xbox Live) occupying my time, I don't know if I'll ever finish.

She's being "trained" by Lita for her WrestleMania match. It's called kayfabe.

What he said.

Sounds like a hell of a machine. I just hope that the version with the hard drive isn't too ridiculously expensive. Also, the camera features are pretty nice. I'm still disappointed that they're releasing the system after the Xbox has only been out for 4 years (at the time of the new system's release that is) especially since I just purchased my Xbox in November 2004. However, I will buy the new system at launch if there are at least 3 high quality launch titles, preferably a good 1 player action or adventure game, a sports game, and a fighting game, along with Xbox Live support. A good RPG would be nice as well. Backward compatibility, especially for Live enabled games, would be wonderful.

There aren't technically online leagues, but you can create championship belts and defend them on Xbox Live.

That's the date I've been hearing at Gaming Ring and GameFAQs. By the way, Gaming Ring.com, which is run by my old WrestlingGames.com cohort Mike Regan, has the best WrestleMania 21 coverage of any site out there. THQ's even flying Mike and staff mate Matt Parker out here to California for WrestleMania and a behind closed doors look at the WM21 game. Also, I am definitely all for a TSM Xbox Live league when the game is released.

Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked
Matt Young replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
So altogether, how many DVD sets are there of Saved By The Bell (TOS), The College Years, and The New Class? I loved the shows as a kid and still watch them whenever I get a chance, so I'd love to purchase the DVDs. -
Cheating's bad enough under any circumstances. I've been cheate don before, so I know how bad it feels to be a victim of infidelity. However, the fact that it was one of Matt's close friends that fucked his girlfriend, a friend who was recently married on top of that (imagine how Lisa Copeland feels), makes it that much more despicable.

To answer your question, Exslade, I've been a longtime fan of Edge and Lita (and to be fair, Matt as well) and I am disgusted with both parties involved. While I still remain a fan of their in ring personas, I find their actions as human beings to be 31 assorted flavors of fucked up.

I haven't played it yet, but I want to buy it. I simply don't have the cash right now after blowing it all on other games. My cousin and a couple friends along with many of my Xbox Live friends all own the game and adore it. I haven't talked to a single person that thinks it is anything less than stellar. Several of my friends spend upwards of 4-5 hours a day playing it on Live at times. It must be pretty damn addictive. If their opinions and those of many game reviewers are any indication, the game should be well worth picking up. I plan on renting it soon if I don't get a chance to play a friend's copy, so I'll voice my opinion as soon as possible. EDIT: Also, this game is on sale for $39.99 (regular price is $49.99) at Circuit City this week for those of you who do have money.

Take a number.

Yeah, there was the "You screwed Lita" chant first. I know why they're not putting Matt in the match with Edge, but he'd be a much better fit than Kane and having him return in North Carolina would've been very appropriate. I've been a longtime fan of Edge as a wrestler, since his Sexton Hardcastle days, and I even bought his book... but he fucked up my hero V1's love life and WrestleMania match. Motherfucker.

Ha! Edge gets a "You screwed Lita" chant!

I just saw a commercial for Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and that appears to be the first game to receive the E10 rating. About that game- Scroby, I have seen that Circuit City is advertising the game for next week for $54.99 with bongos, but I thought there was also supposed to be a cheaper version without the bongos. Seeing as how you work at gameCrazy, I figured maybe you could fill me in. I already have Konga, so I'd like to buy the non-bongo version.

I didn't have that option. There was only so much stuff I could carry in a few suitcases, and I didn't have the money to have it sent to me. Most of my stuff was here. I didn't expect my family to steal from me.
-
It actually would've been cool to get a picture then, but I didn't have the camera on hand. 'Twas in the house. I didn't exactly see that shit coming. Kotz- I just guesstimated. But it was more like $60 plus tax for every game, and I was factoring in the costs of extra controllers, memory cards, and rumble packs.

Illinois fell 1 point shy of a perfect regular season. ONE POINT. Fucking hell... Ah well... I still hold out hope for an Illinois vs. Wake Forest title game. That would truly be a dream come true.

It would've been difficult to snap a picture of her when she was dragging my stepdad down the street via a moving vehicle. I'll have to find an older pic or something.

So you can relate.

Updates... Holy Christ. I sent this to my cousin two hours ago. I didn't bother posting it here. Mom stupidly let Kristine (my sister) borrow the car last night. She claimed she'd only be gone for "a couple hours". As soon as she left, I said to my mom, "You know she's not coming back, right?" Surely enough, it's now 10:43 AM the next day and she's still gone with the car and, presumably, the debit card. She's probably out with her friend Weasel and his crew doing crystal meth again. That was three hours ago. A little while ago, my sister came back, saying someone dropped her off. My stepdad found out she had hidden the car down the street. She hopped in and tried to get away, and my stepdad (who is seriously insane, usually in a bad way) ripped open the passenger door and tried to get in. My sister sped off and DRAGGED HIM DOWN THE STREET, ripping up his clothing as well as his skin. he's got several deep scrapes and lacerations now. She's got to be on meth. This is extreme even by her standards. It's surreal... I saw it with my own two eyes and even I have a hard time believing it.

No... Throws are only cheap if you do them repeatedly, which I don't. Also, if you know what you're doing, it's easy to block them. I just like using Chun-Li. It's better than choosing Ryu, Ken, or Blanka like everyone else. Actually, I'd use Cammy, but she's not in 3S.
