  1. Hmm... I didn't hear the teacher comment, but I missed a little bit of that segment. Untouchable- Coffey lives in Indiana. He was nowhere near the Staples Center.
  2. Sorry, I just marked out seeing you on TV. Plus the look on your face while flipping off Simon Dean was priceless. The thread actually ended up being more about Coffey anyway.
  3. claydude- I marked out when I saw Cena win the belt at Staples last night, but your post just now reminded me that Cena promised to make changes to the belt if he won it. Ugh... I liked the spinner belt in a way since it fit his character and was cool as a novelty, but at the same time, I thought it somewhat made a mockery of the championship. Now he's going to be fucking with the WWE Heavyweight Championship. I know that the belt itself doesn't look too great and only has been around for 3 years, but I fear what WWE may do for a special Cena belt.
  4. I'd love to see Batista get a good 4 and a half to 5 month reign and then drop the belt at SummerSlam. SS is WWE's next biggest PPV event after WrestleMania, and this year it's in Batista's home town of Washington, D.C. Having Edge beat him there would get Edge huge heel heat for his title win.
  5. This thread has entertained me for the last couple minutes. Unfortunately, I cannot contribute since I can't draw for shit with a mouse.
  6. Yeah, and that's why they and Ed can continue to make products. Meanwhile everything Tobias has done since 1995 has bombed so I'm left wondering why he's still in the business. I'm just saying that sales do not always equate to quality. I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything. I'm simply stating that just because something sells doesn't necessarily mean it's good, especially in the game industry where tons of mediocre titles have high sales figures and quality, innovative games head for the bargain bins.
  7. Wow, I'm surprised that no one made the connection. I've had that pic there for weeks. In other news, that is me in my avatar.
  8. It's our one and only Coffey.
  9. That I am. If I had known he was going to be on camera the whole damn time, I would've suggested that he bring a Kotzenjunge related sign. That or the picture of Coffey from my sig blown up to 10,000% size.
  10. Did you expect something more from me?
  11. He posts a lot in the TNA forum. He's the guy who sold me my WrestleMania ticket. He's cool. You should buy tapes from him. I called him after the Edge/Benoit match, and he said he managed to get a good deal on 2 second row seats from a scalper. So yeah, more specifically, he's the guy in Row 2, near the middle, with the Cena shirt, constantly snapping photos.
  12. He's the guy in one of the first few rows wearing a white Cena baseball shirt with the old school WWF style logo on it. He certainly has a better seat tonight than he did last night.
  13. Yeah. It was hard to keep up with all the eliminations, but I believe he was in the final 6. Also, when Viscera was eliminated, he wasn't catapulted as was said earlier. That wouldn't even be believable. Booker was dumped to the apron, Viscera got whipped toward the ropes, and Booker pulled the top rope down to eliminate him. I'll post more on the battle royal and the show as a whole after Raw is over.
  14. Shit... If only the Metrolink ran later or I could have stayed another night in LA, I could've bought RedJed's extra ticket and seen Raw as well. At least I got to go to WrestleMania.
  15. Welcome to the board RVB. I just wanted to post since I see that you're from Mt. Zion. I grew up in Springfield and attended Christian Elementary School there along with Glenwood High School in Chatham. I know we played against Mt. Zion in basketball and/or football, but I can't remember if I was in elementary school or high school when that took place. Maybe it was both.
  16. I'll be in Premier 11, Row 6. Come say hi. Also, I was surprised to read that this will be your first WrestleMania. I could've sworn you had mentioned attending WrestleMania 2000 in Anaheim at some point on this board.
  17. Mike Regan from GamingRing went as a guest of THQ and has already seen DoR2. I'm not sure if there's more of that going on after WrestleMania, but I'll ask Mike if he met that guy. So, is this the full count of everyone that's going? The train I'm taking arrives at the station, 2 miles from Staples, at 1:30 PM. I'll be at the arena soon after that. Heat starts at 3. It's just now finally sinking in that I'm going. It pretty much sunk in fully while I watched the Hall of Fame inductions and lamented the fact that the event was so close and I wasn't there. Tomorrow will more than make up for it.
  18. That was fucking beautiful. Flair's speech, Piper, the incredible reaction for Hogan... And to think, if I could've come upw ith $50 extra, I'd be there right now.
  19. I'm going to WrestleMania 21 tomorrow, getting a ticket from RedJed. I've been to a ton of house shows, 2 WCW TV tapings, and the first raw ever in peoria, Illinois, in November 2004, but this'll be my first WrestleMania, and first PPV overall. I'm psyched. I'm disappointed that Paul London and Matt Hardy won't be wrestling, but aside from that and the shitty sumo match, everything looks great. Plus after 14 years of fandom, I get to see WrestleMania live in fuckin' Hollywood. My only request is that the TSMers who hate me and will be attending the show don't beat me up until afterwards. I will be at the arena a couple hours early, however, if anyone wishes to throw fruit and/or baked goods in my general direction. No urine balloons. EDIT: I'm also hoping to attend Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago. A lot of my friends back in Illinois are planning on getting tickets when they go on sale, and if I can afford the trip back there, I'll be going to the show with them.
  20. Stop ending interrogative sentences with periods!
  21. So did N*SYNC albums.
  22. Good point, but I figured that either everyone would be in the ring either after a commercial break (if it's on Heat) or at the start of the PPV if it's on there. If anything, they'd maybe show a few entrances for the bigger names in the match.
  23. Slickster- Did you register at gaming Ring and ask about the battle royal there? Also, I got your PM about the NCW sign deal. Are you going to be at WrestleMania yourself?
  24. I'm all for it. It gets guys I like on the show, and battle royals are always fun in person. Sure, I won't be in the front row for WM21 like I have been for every other battle royal I've seen live, but I still mark for that type of match. Plus they need another match to take up some time. They went from 12 matches a year ago on a show that lasted just as long as this one will, to 8 matches, Piper's Pit, and likely some Hogan segment stemming from the HoF induction.
  25. Karma's a bitch. So are you. You don't deserve her after cheating on her. Look on the bright side. I was in a situation where I had all kinds of fucked up shit happen between me and a girl who went from being with my former best friend for 3 years, to being with me, to dumping me for some older loser, to being engaged to me, to cheating on me with a girl. I never did one bad thing to her, and I still got screwed and wasted a lot of time. She put me through hell when she had nothing to use against me. You, on the other hand, cheated on this girl and she'll never let you forget it. Even if you do get back together, every time you do something wrong, she'll play the cheater card. Every time she does something wrong, it'll be "At least I didn't cheat on you." Man, fuck that shit. Leave her behind, move to southern California. don't return her calls or e-mails, and hook up with a hot little Mexican who likes skinny white dudes. Worked for me.
