Thanks for the reply. Could anyone provide me a link to where I could buy the appropriate max drive I need to download the edits online? If anyone could I would be very appreciative. I just want to make sure I buy the right device.

Well even though my favorite team is Cincinnati and is in the AFC, I think the Seahawks are a very dangerous team in the NFC playoffs. I know that its difficult to go from the wild card round to the Super Bowl out of the NFC, but I think if we get a playoff rematch between Dallas and Seattle we could be in for another shocker. I only discount them against Green Bay because Brett Favre and company have shown that they can outmanuever Holmgren. Last year I though that Seattle would represent the NFC in the Super Bowl for a second consecutive year but they lost in OT to the Bears.

Do wrestlers ever appear wearing the title belts that you created? I just had a title match and the champion walked to the ring without the belt. If they never wear them that kinda sucks but I can live with it. I just figured since I spent the time creating the title that it would appear on the wrestler in question. Also, is there a logo editor guide out there on the net? I remember reading one that broke down a paint shop program and using it to design logos on FPR but lost the address and was just wondering if anyone out there had a link. Besides that, awesome game. Jumbo Tsuruta won a 32-man tournament, beating Kawada in the finals, to become my first Triple Crown champion and the finals of my tag tournament is upcoming with the Miracle Violence Connection facing the Legion of Doom.

Yea I'll admit that I was wrong about Mario Williams as well. Usually I don't rush to judgment on draft picks but I did in Mario's case and I was dead wrong. The sad thing for the Texans is that if they hadn't seen Andre Johnson go down for several games earlier this year they could potentially be 9-5 right now and in prime position for a playoff berth. However, the Texans close out the season at Indy and then host Jacksonville so their playoff hopes may not be alive for long depending on how many starters both teams decide to play down the stretch.

Evidently the DNC is keeping mum in attacking Huckabee because they think he has a glass jaw in the general election. That may be true but voters I talk to like Huckabee's straight forward speaking style and if he is paired against Hillary I doubt that the AIDS remark is going to be the item that breaks his campaign. Personally, I think if the Democrats nominate Barack Obama this race is over. That man has aroused more enthusiasm over the political process than anyone I have seen in a long time. After all, this is a black candidate who is winning "lilly white" primary state polls in Iowa and New Hampshire right now.
-
Clinton's chances are still strong regardless of what the early state polls say. I'm not a Clinton fan but if she loses Iowa it's not that big of a deal if she can win New Hampshire. Even if she were to lose both states she could also recover in South Carolina, Nevada, and other states down the primary calendar culminating in Super Tuesday. However, Hillary's nightmare scenario would be if Obama won Iowa (thereby eliminating Edwards) and became the rallying point for the "anti-Hillary" element of the party. If Obama wants to win this thing he needs to make it a two-person race as soon as possible. I will say kudos to the Obama team for getting some cajones and openly questioning Hillary's record and experience. Early on Obama was letting Hillary define him rather than allowing him to define himself. Hillary's making a ton of tactical blunders as she's being boxed into the position of trying to run for "re-election" to an office she has never held and that makes her seem pompous and aloof to some voters. Also, Obama was brillant in admitting early on to past drug usage because when he is attacked on the issue he appears sympathetic because he admitted he once had a problem (and Americans are largely forgiving) and also it provides little traction for his opponents because there is no scandal. As Dick Morris has said a million times, telling the truth might result in a short-term hit in support but it pays long-term benefits because little scandal or controversy gets generated for an extended period of time. On the GOP side, Giuliani is in the same position as Clinton. He's gambling that he can lose the early states and win the big ones later BUT if he gets into a one-on-one race with Huckabee he might be in big trouble simply because I'm not so sure Republican voters want a pro-choice candidate. In fact, the only way I can see Giuliani winning that one-on-one battle would be if GOP voters thought Giuliani could best beat Hillary (if she appears to be the nominee by that point) as opposed to Huckabee. Romney's best bet is to win Iowa and New Hampshire and Huckabee is whittling down his support in Iowa quickly. One thing is certain from my perspective and that is that the Republican primary is going to be more bruising and longer than the Democratic primary. It's possible that Huckabee could win Iowa, Romney win New Hampshire, and Huckabee win South Carolina (where the Drudge Report has him with a 24-17% lead over Fred Thompson) only to have Guiliani pick up Florida and a few other big states heading into Super Tuesday. Personally, I'm still not counting out John McCain yet on the Republican side as his performance in recent debates has been impressive and he finally seems to have found his voice but it might be too much too late for him to win. Also, to be devil's advocate on the Huckabee issue, how much was known about AIDS in 1992? At the time people weren't so sure how it was transmitted and what its implications were so I could somewhat see a person's concerns about this new disease that was killing people. Granted, I'm not an expert on the AIDS timeline but I think it could be a decent defense.

Part of me is thinking that if Bud Selig had any dignity and any respect for baseball that he'd resign after today's report. But who am I kidding. He'll just look into the camera like a zombie and say that major league baseball will do everything it can in the future to root out these cheaters and do something about its steroid problem.
-
I found that YouTube clip to be pretty funny.
-
My friends and I have been arguing that Clemens has been on the juice for a while so it's interesting to see that this report may confirm that. Hopefully with the number of pitchers on here this may shift some of the media's focus away from hitters. It's funny that although a lot of substance abuse violators since the policy was enacted have been pitchers the media has for the most part focused on steroids performance for home runs. Bad day for baseball, though, with many top stars that you have marketed being named.

Amen. I always enjoyed Reilly's columns and am saddened that he's headed over to ESPN magazine. The Y2K commercial is probably my favorite when it comes to ESPN commercials. The line of "Follow me to freedom" that closes it never ceases to make me laugh.

Your most hated/liked for 2007
Danville_Wrestling replied to JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan's topic in Sports
Liked: *Boise State beating Oklahoma in one of the greatest football games ever played. *Colorado beating San Diego for the wild card in the 163rd game of the season with a wild ninth inning rally. Sure, Holliday probably didn't touch the plate but still one of the best baseball games I've seen in a while. *Justin Verlander's no-hitter against the Brewers. First no-hitter I'd ever seen all the way through. *Brady Quinn falling to the lower end of the first round of the NFL draft after ESPN, Charlie Weiss, and himself did everything they could to try to make him #1 including talking about his "lineage and pedigree", how Jamarcus Russell was a fat ass, and threw the entire Notre Dame team under the bus. God I hate that guy. *Kentucky football making its way up to #7 in the rankings. It was just cool seeing us in the top 10 and in the BCS for a little while. *The Utah Jazz getting back into the NBA playoffs and making it to the Western Conference finals after rallying from 2-0 down against the Rockets and knocking out Golden State. *Tubby Smith finally leaving UK basketball. A change was needed and although the team sucks right now I'm content. *Appalachia State upsetting Michigan in the Big House. Hated: *Peyton Manning and the Colts winning the Super Bowl. If the Bears had pulled it out I would have won the NFL pick'em. Plus I can't stand Manning. *The BCS national title game. What a waste of time watching that was. *Shane Graham missing a field goal against Pittsburgh that would have sent Cincy to the playoffs and basically all of this year's season for the Bengals. *Toronto missing the NHL playoffs. *The NBA finals. Once Cleveland eliminated Detroit I knew it was going to be a Spurs sweep. *UK football missing a field goal in the second overtime that would have ended our 20+ game losing streak to Tennessee. *The Reds continuing to suck in the National League and miss the playoffs for the 14th straight year. -
More trouble for Mrs. Clinton, this time in New Hampshire... http://www.wmur.com/politics/14826607/detail.html I guess we can expect to see even more attack ads versus Mr. Obama in Iowa and New Hampshire. Who knows, maybe John Edwards can benefit in a Howard Dean-Dick Gephardt way from the ugly turns in this Democratic race.

Finally got my copy today. I played as Misawa in my first match against Sabu with the CPU skill at 5 and got crushed pretty bad. There is a bit of a learning curve because there is no grapple button but in my second match with Vader against some random guy I did better and won. Granted, I turned CPU skill down to 1 so that I can practice the game and all the controls but I had an awesome time just stiffing the hell out of this guy. One question, though about fatigue. What is the best way to conserve energy? By the 8 minute mark my Vader character was getting blown up. Any way to defend against that or is it natural? Best $15 I ever spent on a game so far, though. I'm absolutley loving the entrances and gameplay.

I love that promo. Gene Okerlund is even left speechless at the end of it.

Isn't it entirely possible that we could get a split national champion if Ohio State loses in the BCS title game and the AP poll has a different #2 than LSU?
-
Yea, I'm not a big fan of either team but I enjoy seeing Oklahoma play more than LSU whose "go for it on fourth downs" annoy the crap out of me (although that fake FG earlier this year against SC was fun to watch). That said, LSU is probably going to the national title game because Les Miles is the media's new favorite coach and they've been pushing LSU hard all year long. I'll laugh my ass off, though, tomorrow if we get some shocker at the BCS selection show and end up with Ohio State vs. Kansas or something.
-
I agree it would be a bit of a mess because the debate would shift to who the best "at-large" team was in the playoffs or something of that nature but those debates are unavoidable. Look at the NCAA basketball tournament for example. The only positive is that maybe the debate would be a bit less fierce because it would be a #8 seed people would be arguing over instead of who #2 is.

Oklahoma is getting ready to put Mizzou out their misery.
-
Why LSU and not Oklahoma? I think that absolute tankjob against Colorado should take them out, hopefully. That's where I give the edge to LSU. LSU's losses occurred after regulation and not in regulation like both of Oklahoma's. Remember also that Oklahoma had to come from behind to even make the Texas Tech game close. Either way, it's a mess and I REALLY don't want OSU v. Georgia for the title. At least we'll have a selection show worth watching tomorrow minus spoilers.
-
Well if this doesn't lead towards the creation of a playoff system I don't know what else would. It's pretty funny, though, that a two loss team could end up at national champions while Hawaii could end up undefeated and not even play for the title. Yea, I know their strength of schedule wasn't that great and they struggled against San Jose State but they've played their schedule and haven't lost.
-
I think if Mizzou loses you have to put LSU in the title game with OSU. They demolished the Hokies 48-7 earlier this year so you can't really justify putting VT in the title game ahead of them. Also, Kansas and Georgia didn't play their conference title games so I just don't want to see a team get into the national title game through that route. Plus, both of LSU's losses occurred in 3 OT's this year. Hell, I say if Hawaii wins tonight just throw them in the damn title game. It's been that kind of year anyway and if they get in then we can preserve the illusion that a two loss team won't be playing for the national title.
-
Well Mizzou is handing their game away to Oklahoma on that pickoff. The Okies are now on the Mizzou 5.
