  1. The network problems that were happening earlier on the show were pissing me off too. When the picture faded to black during the Juvi/Sabin match, the last thing I saw was Sabin going for the Cradle Shock, but Juvi got onto his feet, then the picture went off and when it came back on, Juvi won. I'm assuming Juvi went for the Juvi Driver or rolled Sabin up to beat him. I loved Don West's "You are single-handedly ruining TNA" comment to Jeff Jarrett, though.
  2. Yeah, I called it. Grisham's going to say "Slobberknocker", "Bah Gawd!", "Business is about to pick up!", and use face announcer hypocrisy. A young JR=scary
  3. I hope that if Todd Grisham's any good, he'll replace either JR or Lawler on Raw, because both of them have been a parody of their former selves since 1999. *stops for a minute to think of who WWE has hired as new commentators for the past several years* *thinking*: Cole (back when he used to suck), Loyd, Coachman (face announcer days) Wait, what the hell am I thinking? Grisham might be just as annoying.
  4. With Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo both booking? Don't count on it.
  5. Once the 2/14 show was cancelled, I think many knew that MLW wasn't going to last any longer. It's a shame that it's gone since TNA and WWE are our only promotions to watch on TV once again (unless CMLL re-runs count, along with the god-awful AAA and IWA-Puerto Rico), but wrestlers like Bryan Danielson, Low-Ki, and others probably feel more at home in ROH anyway.
  6. More like a bad combination of Wrestlecrap, WCW (hiring old wrestlers, bringing in celebrities, etc.), and current WWE (politicking World Heavyweight Champion who won the belt from a talented wrestler under 230 lbs. after a fluke reign, the Champion beating anyone who's built up to feud with him, misuse of good talent sometimes, etc.).
  7. I don't think Booker T and Benoit would match up too well now. The last time I saw them wrestle each other was on Raw in 2002, and it just didn't compare to their "Best of 7" WCW matches when Booker T wasn't injury prone back then.
  8. If HHH's "People like you don't win World Championships" promo on Booker last year is any indication, then Benoit unfortunately might lose.
  9. This is WWE, they can fuck up whatever they want to with their reputation, even the matches.
  10. During a John Heidenreich Raw match, he sucked so much that JR didn't even put him over as one of his hosses like he usually does with big, untalented wrestlers.
  11. Survivor Series 2000 was obviously bad, but Armageddon 2000 was so much worse that two seniors in one of my classes back then (I was a freshman at the time) talked about how much the PPV sucked and one of them only mentioned Rikishi falling off onto the truck with hay on it and then they didn't really talk about the PPV anymore. They weren't even smarks, either, although it was the same PPV that had every face except Jericho losing, so that might explain it.
  12. Boy would we feel like assholes if everything was true and the poor guy's in trouble... If this does turn out to be true (HIGHLY unlikely with the way his story's gone), then sadly, he'd actually think the best method to dispose of the KGB would be to yank his hair out, hit them with a barbed wire 2x4, then say "Owwwwwwwww have sourrrrr creeeeeammmmmm" to Natalie. I'm serious, he really has turned into Foley.
  13. Don't you mean a crossgender feud in Chyna's case? Sure she looks like a female now, but that only came through plastic surgery.
  14. What I really don't get is considering that Eddie's close friend in AAA, Art Barr, died from drinking and drugs in his sleep back in 1993 or 1994 (while sleeping with his son, I might add), is there any reason why Eddie never learned from his friend's mistakes other than his career path is on the Scott Hall/Jake Roberts road again, possibly?
  15. I hope you're right about that and Eddie isn't fucking up the biggest opportunity in his career to be WWE Champion (even though it might be a fluke reign knowing WWE). Although S__D might have been telling the truth, so we'll just have to keep an eye out on Eddie's future behavior.
  16. I'm afraid it sounds like Eddie's starting to go back into Scott Hall/Jake Roberts mode again, unfortunately, if he really did verbally explode on the fan.
  17. I also remember Flair wearing black tights mostly in 2003 when HHH was starting to wear different-colored tights and boots to blatantly rip off Flair (remember the purple ones? Ugh.).
  18. All the stalling Eddie and Chavo did killed the match for me.
  19. "You sold out! You sold out!" "We want puppies! We want puppies!" "You fucked up! You fucked up!" Is it any of those chants?
  20. They could be if WWE's new grounded style doesn't come into play like it did to Eddie vs. Chavo at the Royal Rumble.
  21. Well it's either that or we'll start reading reports about how "The reason AJ Styles is no longer over with the crowd anymore is because Luger berated him on the PPV with the whole 'you can't compete on my level' promo and killed AJ's pops even more by beating him 3 weeks in a row". Now how is THAT a good idea? Because TNA has done some stupid shit in the past with their best wrestlers and I don't see why they wouldn't now.
  22. It's a drink that HHH, Eddy Guerrero, and John Cena have done commercials before. It's actually a pretty major sponsor of WWE, so it's surprising that Jerry Lynn would get one. In reality, JacK, a stinger means a possibly serious neck injury that affects your body with whatever you do (like eating, drinking, getting involved in physcial activity with aches and pains, having pain in your neck, not sleeping well, etc.) Correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. I know Jerry Lynn just signed, and possibly Styles and Sabin, too. I'm not too sure about Daniels and Punk, however. Still, if Hall, Nash, Luger, etc. do end up making a mockery out of the 5 I mentioned, it would probably send shockwaves through TNA if they all ended up quitting the promotion over that and hopefully teach TNA a lesson for bringing in broken down has-beens (Hall, Savage, Piper), never-weres (Luger through most of his career, Nash), and freakshows (Chyna).
  24. I guess that means CM Punk, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, and Chris Sabin will all be jobbing to them once the WCW rejects get signed. At this point, it seems like those 5 would probably be better off wrestling only in MLW and/or ROH as far as the top 3 indy feds are concerned because it seems like Jarrett's on a mission to get them buried by Luger, Hall, Nash, Savage, Chyna, etc.
  25. It's too bad that within the last few months she's become stale in the ring, though. As for the Victoria post, I wasn't implying that she was a lesbian. I just posted something close to what she said on Byte This (since I didn't watch the show since my Media player sucks due to all the buffering it does).
