I never saw that match, but I do remember reading the spoilers and wanting to watch it. Which reminds me; Dreamer vs. Matt Hardy with the top-turnbuckle Twist of Fate was damned fine, too.

El Hijo del Santo: Easily my favorite ever. By looking at him, you'd next expect him to be as graceful in the ring as he is. Man can also brawl like fuck. I've never seen him come even close to half-assing it before, either. Chris Benoit: See pegasus's answer. Blue Panther: Greatest mat worker I've ever seen. Combat Toyota: I've written about her once or twice before. I have this weird attraction to her and her work. You all need to watch her Big Egg match with Hotta and her FMW match with Kudo. She's so awesome as the big girl who's not a monster. Val Venis: My favorite wrestler in the E besides Benoit. Stan Hansen: Such a bad ass. The Destroyer: Awesome, awesome wrestler.

I love you, man. That match was pretty damned good and lived up to the hype. I loved the Randy Savage-style rope-to-throat spot and it becoming the central point of the rest of the match. Jindrak's selling striking was awesome. I don't think I've seen anything like that in a WWE match for quite a while. The knockout shot finish was great, too.

I guess that's what I get for not paying attention. Ah well.

Holly and Gunn were a very nice little team before they fired Holly. Most of their good matches happened on Velocity. Nunzio/London was fun both times. Especially the one with Nunzio doing all the arm work. One-armed suplexes are cool. Thinking of arm work made me remember another really good match. Doug Basham/London. The finish was spectacular.

Awesome. I didn't even know anyone knew about that show until the last time I went ot Suncoast and saw all the merchandise stuff based off of it.

I still haven't seen Basham/Jindrak. I need that match so much. As for stuff I have seen. The Jordan/Kanyon series was pretty damned good. As was Jordan/Jindrak. Another one of those shockingly good Jindrak matches. I also remember enjoying Venis/Cade quite a bit but I don't really remember anything about it.

I once posted at a comic book based board that had an entire folder dedicated to threads like this. That place had it's own little sub-culture. Most of the regulars in that folder never ventured out.
