Ugh, I would have liked to have seen Kennedy hold onto the title a little longer than that. Sheesh. I hope Booker doesn't job next week. His run is great IMO!

So I saw it last night and it didn't live up to my expectations. Very disappointed with this film. I was expecting a true horror origins film and I wound up seeing a remake of the remake instead.

Get ready.

I can't blame Angle for leaving for TNA. WWE held him back from working and he probably wouldn't have been pushed again and stuck in stupid storylines like that crap he got stuck with Booker T's wife. I felt that last run with the World Heavyweight Title was exactly that. Vince didn't even care, he only used Angle to get Cena's ass over against almost every fan's wishes and then had no choice, but to make it up to them once Batista got hurt.

A buddy of mine pointed out to me that a few years ago (back when Vince actually cared about the B show) Vince would be a face on RAW and a heel on Smackdown. Weird.

Great movie, but I could have done without the all horse scenes.

It can be explained that Shawn Michaels is a devout Christian therefore he found it in his heart to forgive HHH's sin of trying to end his career on numerous occasions. Edit: I thought Edge and Foley's alliance following their bloodbath at WM this year was pretty dumb.

Couldn't have posted it any better. Going into the PPV after seeing the card, I thought it was going to suck, but boy the WWE caught off me big time with wonderful surprises left and right (Benoit's unexpected return and finally having a great match with Regal on PPV where it belongs and not fucking Velocity, tag title match being better than I anticipated, Booker stealing the win and having the title even longer than I thought much to my joy.) Didn't like Rey / Chavo this time, but then again I am getting sick of this feud. Pretty surprised with Undertaker / Kennedy with the WTF ending and that Ken got as much offense in as he did. Very sad to see the King's Court break up, but it was going to happen eventually. Thanks for proving me wrong Smackdown, you haven't had a sucky PPV yet all year long. Don't let me down with Armageddon.

Slyvan came out to cut a promo, inviting everybody to spend a week in Quebec. JBL: I'd rather spend the week in Hell. later on in the promo... JBL: I HATE THIS GUY!

This would be a great way for them to bring back the ECW TV and Tag titles.

Interesting, 3 months after their last PPV encounter, the rematch is STILL non-title? Ugh, not a great card this time around. I'm only looking forward to Helms / Hardy (Awesome match at GAB, ending with a lame finish so hopefully they can upstage their previous bout) and Kennedy / Undertaker. I think Kennedy will pull an upset by cheating. Probably by hitting the Undertaker with the US title or something.

I'll see if I can get the Hogan DVD tonight.

I love Angle / Michaels. Its one of my all-time favorite matches and pretty much one of the best Mania matches ever (up there with Savage / Steamboat, Hart / Hart, etc. IMO), but yeah I hate how it took Shawn FOREVER to tape out. That's pretty much my only complaint since I'm used to use Shawn's habit of no-selling major work done to his back / legs during matches. I know the hold-out was done for suspense, but geez talk about stretching it.

Edited: I always thought it was lame for the Hart Foundation to walk into Canadian Stampede match with all the gold except for the WWF Championship. Totally awkward to see Bret beltless.

I liked the remake so I'll probably check this out. I like them taking the time to explain their version of how a classic horror villain came to be.

98 had great potential since, with the exception of Stevie Ray, you had the biggest names / legends in wrestling going at it in the same match. Of course, WCW failed once again.

Good thing they changed it. No Mercy would have flopped with them depending on Lashley.

I'll give him credit for 97 / 98, but then again I have to blame him for 1999 and WCW sucking complete ass. And of course even though Hogan is a notorious politician and I'm glad Booker T finally world champion, the whole Bash 2000 bullshit could've been handled a lot better.

It took me 4 months before I finally accepted JBL as WWE Champion. Then his character grew on me. If he ever heals up and decides to come back, I wouldn't mind him being the World Heavyweight Champion and I'd certainly like to see him feud with HBK and/or HHH one on one.
