Probably not 5 stars, but really fucking close if anything:
Randy Savage & Bret Hart Vs. Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels - Grudges, Gripes, and Grunts
Raven & Saturn Vs. Benoit & Malenko - Spring Stampede 1999
Rey Mysterio & Billy Kidman Vs. TWGTT - Vengeance 2003
Team Austin Vs. Team Bischoff - SSeries 2003
Are you sure? I mean I thought they changed plans around Rumble time. Otherwise, they wouldn't have done those all teases with Hogan / Flair (SummerSlam 91 segment with Heenan, Funeral Parlor, SSeries, TiT).
Austin Vs. Hogan should have happened at Wrestlemania XVIII, there was no excuse for it not to happen.
I can't believe I forgot about Lesnar Vs. Helmsley, I definitely wanted to see it that. Imagine if that had been the Wrestlemania 21 main event instead. I know it would have been a better match than the one we got with Batista.
LOL, that was great!
As for the title change from what I researched, it is a sequel but more of a "stand alone". There are also similar elements in this one that there are in the 1st movie. So I'm assuming Stallone is trying to get the 1st feel back into this one and make it stand alone instead of being another chapter. It is like the previous 5 rocky movies were just one long novel and they were a long chapter each. This one is a whole new book.
I felt RAW sucked ass last night overall, but I did enjoy Cena / Benjamin, all of Edge's segments, The Miz botching his lines, and Mick Foley's TREMENDOUS promo absolutely shredding Flair's asshole.
The nWo was great. This was the real highlight of when it was cool to cheer the bad guys. The only problems were the Fingerpoke / both nWos re-uniting (did they even bother kayfabe explaining why that happened?) and that was never a blow-off where WCW finally defeated them for good. A rematch in WarGames would have done justice IMO.
