  4. He was bad, but I remember laughing at one or two things he said. The Tyson bit was terrible. Happy Heterosexual Goldust is awful, it's just killing his heat
  5. I didn't see a thread on this, so I figured I'd start something for people to predict and/or say what films they would like to see nominated for the Oscars. I also might start a seperate thread for people to post their top ten lists. Anyway, have at it. The nominations will be announced tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. est. 6. I didn't see it, but didn't Georgia Rule have a whole subplot about Lohan being sexually abused. The marketing campaign was about her being a slut. I also don't see how Bucket List was mismarketed. It's a movie about two people about to die, of course it's not a laugh riot.
  7. The Bucket List is a comedy, though. It's a comedy, with the obvious sentimental dramatic moments that accompanies a plot like this. It was a lot better than I expected it to be though. Roger Ebert hated it.
  8. It takes a king.... ::goes in, gets clotheslined out and returns to the commentary table:: to know a king! Classic
  9. I thought that Yoko had been off his feet before that by Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Yoko destroying Duggan is why he wasn't in the Rumble. 2005 is another great Rumble, but I think since it followed 2004, it gets forgotten.
  10. 1997 has great moments, but it drags a lot. It's one of those Rumbles that exposed the depth problems in the WWF. 2000 really isn't that good. Once the Rikishi period ends, it drags a lot to the point that Jerry Lawler becames obviously bored on commentary.
  11. Perfect was in 2002, and he wasn't a surprise entrance, he was announced beforehand. Honky Tonk Man was 2001. Nothing will top 2004 for me
  12. That's why I like that Coach Cal scheduled Gonzaga and Tennesse during February
  13. Holy shit, I can't believe Memphis is in line to be #1 in the country.
  14. How? He got to lie out of the ring for a while to get the record. That's another reason why it's so bad
  15. I'd love to be a part of this. Watched the first Nitro and first RAW. The first Nitro is great, really hooks you into the show. The first RAW....not so much. Barlett was funny in small doses, but he's awful. You can tell Vince and Savage quickly grew tired of him
  16. I'll be there. You won't like me though, b/c I'll be booing Triple H and HBK
  17. They shouldn't make them two movies, it wil just be overly long and bloated, which is what the movies should try to avoid. Granted, I haven't read the 7th book, so I understand if my point is not valid, but they made the other movies into one, they surely can make this one
  18. The teaser looks lame, but Berg, Bateman and Will Smith means I will love it. And Milky hit the nail on the head about Enchanted
  19. I've done standup comedy twice, though not in almost four years. The first time went pretty well. I didn't write anything down, just had four bullet points I wanted to do. I did it with a friend, and we alternated. I did traditional material, and he did one-liners. I was funny, he was not. My signature bit was attacking John Walsh. People were horrified, but liked it. I'm still stung why my bit on 9/11 didn't work. The second time I did it with no voice in front of a crowd that I knew wouldn't take to my material, so I bombed. I haven't done it since, and it's just because I didn't have the level of commitment I think needed to do it, and I didn't want to just go up and wing it everytime
  20. #1 Milky #6 KKK HELP, I'M A ROCK REGION #1 King Kamala Classic #6 Treble CULTURE BEAT REGION #1 Czech #3 El Dandy POWDERFINGER REGION #5 Edwin MacPhisto #3 Smues
  21. Thanks, but I avoid voting in these tournaments as a matter of policy. What kind of policy is that?
  22. Czech's fat too? This tournament has done a good job of reminding people how terrible Matt Young can be
  23. I'm down by 3 votes. Matt Young, campaign for me.
  24. Walk Hard was one of my favourite movies of 2007.
  25. EHME gets points for the Battlefield Earth reference.
