Isn't Pier Pressure on Disc 3? AD does lose a little steam in the middle of season 1, but even the episodes that aren't laugh out loud funny, still get me hooked because I love seeing the plot unravel.

It's Deuce Bigalow, a 75 minute movie that he gave zero stars too. I don't think he has to go in-depth as to why this movie didn't work. It's obvious he thought evertything about the movie was terrible, and thought recapping a stupid feud Rob Schneider started to be more relevant.

I think he spells out why he thought the movie sucked. The jokes sound stupid and juvenile, and just gross for the sake of being gross. Should Ebert spell it out for you? I think Yuna is still bitter about Ebert dissing Johnny on Charlie. Rob Schneider made the issue between him and the critic his business and Ebert delighted in making him look stupid.

Depends on who and what you like. I'm sure the Punk and AJ comps are good. The Best of Evans is if you like spotty scrambles and the like. Best of Homicide has all his matches from 03 that people raved about.

Nigel is big in ROH but put him in WWE and he won't look that big. He's still awesome though, my favourite ROH wrestler.

I like how DH has to bring in his hate for Edge in this thread. We get it, you don't like Edge, despite the fact that you mark for seemingly every other wrestler on the planet. You hate him, but there are thousands of people who love him and go to house shows just to see him wrestle and who buy all his merchandise.

So if he has said it several times, Taker has said it and HBK's never denied it- then I think you can probably take it to the bank. I watch OTR when they have wrestlers on and for the most part there is little kayfabing from what I've noticed. Taker and Dave Meltzer have no reason to lie.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make. He has tweaked his character a bit. He became the rapper in November 02 and was supposed to be a joke that no one took seriously. Then his character evolved into being a legit rapper. He also dropped the pre-match raps and has also curbed calling everyone gay. He's also played up having more blue-collar roots. He's selling the merch, and his crossover appeal is nothing but a help to WWE. I'm not going to refute Hogan being better then Cena, but staying he "probably still is" is absurd.

HBK wasn't around when Taker said this on OTR. OTR is not done in kayfabe and Taker has no reason to go around saying if it wasn't true. It's also been confirmed by Meltzer numerous times.

Was Diesel the #1 face at seemingly every arena with tons of fans wearing his merchandise? That show also didn't have Shawn Michaels on it. So if a champion doesn't immediately vault them into the 5s and 6s they should give someone else the belt? That makes no sense. Cena's over with everyone and has crossover appeal and is momentum doesn't seem to be slowing. They need to keep the built on him as long as possible. He'll be fine if they book to hide his limitations, as I said. And his overness can always help hide some of his weak offence. If the crowd pops for it, then his weak offence isn't really an issue. By giving him a gimmick match with JBL, a three-way with Jericho and Christian, and singles matches with Jericho and Angle- they seem to be trying to book around his limitations, which is the right thing to do.

That doesn't make any sense. Cena is over with people who watch the product. Saying he's not over with people who don't watch doesn't work, because you could say that about everyone. Read the live reports. Cena usually gets the biggest pops and the biggest merch seller. You can hide someone's flaws if you book him correctly. Bookers have been doing that for years.

No but you should acknowledge the fact that Cena is very very over with almost everyone. The Attitude era had tons of stupid shit that was not intelligent. The markiest of marks are the ones who seem to be going to the house shows and tapings just to see Cena and buying all his merchandise.
