  1. Is it really luck when in his last 10 starts he hasn't given up more then 3 runs?
  2. Whether you like him or not, Cena is insanely over with the fans and they should keep the belt on him for a long time.
  3. What are you talking about? If you mean Dukes, then no, it didn't bomb. And no, I did not laugh out loud.
  4. Al- Why do you think Jorge Sosa has been as dominant as he's been this season? With Hampton, Thompson and Hudson injured this guy has been an unsung hero for the team this year.
  5. I hate you.
  6. OMG EAGAN!~
  7. And to think I was starting to like Reitsma again.
  8. But he didn't sell out though since he walked away from WWE to make less money.
  9. I think zyn meant football as in soccer and snuffbox meant football as in American football.
  10. They still make a profit and have tons of money.
  11. March of the Penguins was a nice movie, I just thought it was pretty boring at times. Aristocrats had a $28,000 PSA which is good. I've seen the movie twice now and it's hilarious
  12. Jeff Francouer does it again! He now has 8 HRs and 20 RBIs.

  14. "Hey, my nice car just broke down ... let me go and get a cheaper, older, less desirable one to replace it." The B's better be using the cash differential to sign another big name or 3. Not that much cheaper. They're paying Leetch 4 mil. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ugh ... thanks for reminding me. If you want, we can meet halfway between us and you can kick me in the groin. That's basically how pleased I am about the Leetch signing. Wasn't he healthy scratched at times in the playoffs last year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not at all. Leetch was awesome for the Leafs.
  15. Let the speculation begin.
  16. Naslund elects to re-sign with Vancouver TSN.ca Staff 8/3/2005 10:15:10 AM Markus Naslund has decided to return to Vancouver, according to his agent Mike Gillis. Both the Vancouver Province and radio station CKNW say Naslund has agreed to a three year deal worth $18-million. Naslund reportedly turned down two other similar offers from "high revenue" teams because he felt the Canucks' offer was more competitive. "We evaluated every element to this and in the end it all pointed to the market being what it is and Markus' desire to return to Vancouver," Gillis told the Province. "There's no doubt that competitiveness played a huge part in his decision and maybe the way it is now, you really do have to sacrifice a little to be on a winner. I mean, there's a reason why Martin Brodeur took less to stay playing in New Jersey. Obviously, money was not the overriding factor in Markus' final decision." Naslund had 35 goals and 49 assists in 78 games in the 2003-04 season for Vancouver. There was talk of Naslund and fellow Swede Peter Forsberg signing together to play for Colorado. Forsberg remains unsigned, but it is unlikely the star center will sign with the Canucks.
  17. They did sign Striker.
  18. No it doesn't. No one remembered who he was, he looked fat and out of shape and they just cut a bunch of guys who could do everything he does and more.

    WFAN of NY Reports

He still shouldn't have taken it and deserves all the heat he gets
  20. The Yankees are losing in the top of the 9th
  21. Stop that. I'm glad I didn't go, this show sounds awful.
  22. Yea, but Chipper was finally getting back into his groove.
  23. Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones left Tuesday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds with a right shoulder injury. Jones, who spent six weeks on the disabled list with a foot injury earlier this season, got hurt while diving to his left in an attempt to stop Ryan Freel's sharp grounder with two outs in the fourth inning. Jones walked off gently holding the fingertips of his right hand after being examined on the field. Jones already had driven in four runs with three hits, including a solo homer, to help NL East-leading Atlanta build a 7-1 lead. The homer was his seventh of the season and first since July 18, the day he came off the disabled list. Wilson Betemit replaced Jones at third base. Uh-oh.
  24. I almost went to this show. Seeing Paul London lose the title would've traumatised me.
