Did you go to the Leafs game that month? Cause I was there for that and it was definitely an experience. GM Place is half full of Leafs fans and the Canucks kill off an almost 2 minute 5 on 3 and then score immediately after and then get up to 4-0 at one point. Crazy energy that game. Edit: Never mind, my memory must be going since that was in November. I've been going over to Vancouver so often lately I'm confusing trips. I went to the Trevor Linden game, Oilers v. Canucks. Canucks won 4-2.

Yea, their I Quit match was the one Cena-JBL match I really enjoyed. Cena-Big Dave from Summerslam is a war.

Besides the matches you mentioned- Cena and Angle always worked well together before Cena hit it big, particularly No Mercy 03 and No Way Out 05. I didn't care for their matches once Cena was champ. Cena-Jericho, Summerslam 05, Armageddon most recently. Any Cena-Edge match (except for RR 06) is bound to be awesome. I also enjoyed the Cena-Khali matches.

I bleed Braves baseball and a win over the Mets is terrific, but fuck, even I had to applaud that Piazza home run. It was the first big sporting event in NYC after 9/11. Only time I've ever been okay with a loss to the Mets. Fuck the Yankees though- knowing that was Paul O'Neill's last game makes it even funnier.

I was disappointed when I found out it was only 13 episodes, I'm worried they may rush things. I did enjoy the episode tonight, I just didn't get the holy shit I love this show goosebumps that I usually get. I think the fact that it hadn't been on in 11 months really hurt. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose! Also, bullshit Lyla and Riggins were sophmores when the series began. They're really reaching with that stuff.

Really enjoyed the season premiere tonight, but the stupid writer's strike fucked a lot of things up. Season 2 ended with a transition episode, and it's really hard to recover from that

The only game I remember from Cards-Astros is the Pujols game. Games 1, 2, 4-6 of the 04 ALCS are great. For emotion, Mets v. Braves after 9/11 is fantastic. There's that Cleveland-Seattle game where one of them came back from 12 runs down.
