I was actually a huge fan of 'Thinking About You'. I'd have to agree with the Flaming Lips - Do You Realise? one. I hate Marilyn Manson, but I was a huge fan of 'The Fight Song', so I decided to get a loan of the 'Holy Wood' album, but I wasn't impressed at all.

That match was the most offensive match I've ever seen live. It was the epitome of dumb indy wrestling with a million guys doing a million stupid dives which made all of them mean absolutely nothing in the end. The *only* thing I remember is Teddy Hart making an ass of himself and thats after several other guys did stupid jumps off the top of a cage. -Paul Jacobi- It certainly warrants a viewing from a first time fan. It's a crazy spotfest, and the best scramble match IMO.

There are a FEW matches from his WWE run that I like. It will surely have a LOAD of ECW matches, including some of the Jerry Lynn run.

Raw to return to the "HHH Rules Everyone" Format?
Jack_Bauer replied to JasonX's topic in The WWE Folder
I can see maybe Dave Batista winning it by pinning Randy Orton. I can certainly see Orton getting a pin on Triple H. -

This is a pretty fucking pathetic list. I'd certainly rate 'Comfortably Numb', 'Freebird' and 'Anasthesia (Pulling Teeth)' pretty highly.

Not quite the album of the year, but this album is a cracker, no mistake.

Thanks for that people.

I seen him at Paisley Town Hall, and I HATE the SECC, so I won't be there. He was absolutely outstanding at Paisley, although he didn't play 'Hairdresser On Fire'. I was kinda disappointed about that.
-
D'Lo is gonna be working in the UK sometime soon, so I'm guessing he's on some bigass tour.
-
Oh, and for me, probably The Rasmus - Guilty.
-
I quite happily sit and listen to Linkin Park, Nickelback, and probably most of the 'hated' bands. Does that mean I have a shit taste in music ? Only to the people who think it's shit. At the end of the day, these bands MUST have a huge fanbase of people who think they're good.

Being an SWA mark in this whole thing, I was pretty pleased reading about this show.

Morrissey - November Spawned a Monster

The Smiths from what's on the list. Seen Morrissey on Thursday, and he was amazing. Iron Maiden would be my favourite band from the 80s though.

1) The WWE product is better now than it was one year ago. True. 2) The WWE product is better now than it was three years ago. True. 3) The WWE product is better now than it is five years ago. Most definately true. 4) I believe the in-ring product has improved in the last three years. True. 5) I believe the storylines/feuds/angles have improved in the last three years. Undecided. 6) I wish WCW and ECW were still in existence. True. 7) The WWE will have no real competition in the next five years. False. 8) It was smart for the WWE to go to a "less is more" in ring style. Undecided. 9) I believe the RAW brand is superior to Smackdown. Undecided. 10) If I could convince Vince Macmahon to push one guy on either roster to the moon, it would be: Paul London idealy, Dave Batista realistically.

A review of Chris Hero vs. Bryan Danielson
Jack_Bauer replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I'd expect ****+ plus. I suppose being a US indy fan not seeing much of Hero outside of the great Punk meetings, then I dunno. I'm from the UK so indy stuff isn't easy to find. -
I like the Canadian Destroyer. So I like big moves that look good. Big deal. At the end of the day, I don't like EVERY match to be realistic. Sometimes I like a bit of dumb spot stuff.
-
So, Ice XVII has the chance to win the main title in SWA when he faces Conscience. The event looks great, with the main event and Eric Canyon v CJ Hunter looking better than the rest, although there's some guys I'm not familiar with.

5. Flogging Molly @ Gig on the Green 2002 - The fact that they only had 35 minutes means I can't actually put this performance higher on the list here. It was a SUPER show from the band though. I had never heard the band before this show, and I am wanting to see them again. 4. Coldplay @ T in the Park 2003 - Fantastic performance from Coldplay. Not the boring and crappy live band that most will probably dismiss them as without even seeing them. Their light shows go well with all of their songs. Certain songs really work live, like 'Yellow', 'In My Place', 'The Scientist' and the awesome 'Clocks'. A great cover of 'Lips Like Sugar' with Echo and the Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch was fantastic. 3. Manic Street Preachers @ Glasgow SECC, December 2002 - On their greatest hits tour. They certainly sound MUCH better live than I thought they would. Before the gig, I was assured that Manics have been awesome live, and I wasn't disappointed. The old stuff actually stood out well here, and 'Suicide Is Painless' and 'Motorcycle Emptiness' rocked. 'A Design For Life' and 'You Stole The Sun From My Heart' were the stand out tracks though. 2. The Flaming Lips @ T in the Park 2003 - WONDERFUL show. Unexpectedly brilliant stuff from another band who I'd never heard before. They started by playing 'Seven Nation Army', as a kinda tribute to The White Stripes, who couldn't make it to the festival. They also sang 'Thank You Jack White For The Fibre Optic Jesus That You Gave Me'. 'Race For The Prize' was pretty majestic. They never played 'Waiting For a Superman' but that was made better by the inclusion of 'She Don't Use Jelly'. The ending song 'Do You Realise' was the best song in the set. Beautiful. 1. Iron Maiden @ Glasgow SECC, December 2003 - Leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the gigs I have seen. Definately the loudest crowd I have been in. The gig was one big sing and jump along from start to finish, which helped quite a bit. 'The Trooper', 'Wrathchild' and 'No More Lies' were among my faves but the REAL greatness started when they played 'Hallowed Be Thy Name'. The list basically ran after that with 'Fear Of The Dark', 'Iron Maiden', 'Number of the Beast', 'Journeyman' and 'Run To The Hills'. Nothing more needs to be said really does it ? The new songs were all amazing live as well of course. Iron Maiden is a band which, if you haven't seen them already, is a MUST see.
