I would have liked to see HBK fight Rock, but Rock would be waaaay out of shape. Other option is against Angle or Benoit, but at this point, probably won't be happening at Mania.
-
Except Eddie was WCW, and Vince doesn't give those guys the "real" belt. Why else was Benoit moved to Raw to get a title he already won (in a non-WWE sense anyway). Best case scenario is that Eddie does win it, but gives it up to Angle at WM. What I think will likely happen is that Brock will find a way to retain, Brock fights Goldberg at WM, and Goldberg loses, then leaves.

I don't buy the Royal Rumble if I know who is going to win. So that means I haven't bought any since 1997. I did get the replay from the 2000 Rumble, because that Rumble was just awesome. This year, I have no motivation to watch the actual match, even if I don't know who will win this time around. And I'm sick of HBK-HHH already, which would normally be an automatic 35 dollars. Armageddon 2002 humbled me.

No. He needs to be taller. That's right, I forgot. 200 pounds and two-foot stilts.
-
True, someone should encode them, because the actual feature will be an 85-minute blowjob of how WWE rules all. History is written by the winners. I still can't get over the fact that Bischoff is running Raw as a bitch to WWE creative. Just seeing this in '97 would be surreal.

For some reason, I have no idea why, WWE loves to recognize Benoit's WCW title win. According to WCW, "it never happened" and even Benoit himself doesn't recognize his own world title win. And that reason? "If we claim Benoit's already been a World Champion, then we never have to allow him to win our title." This means Benoit is really screwed. I mean, if I have this right, the WWE only had to mention he was a former World Champion once, in a rather subtle manner, and that justifies never letting him win the WWE title, ever? I guess if Benoit gained 200 pounds, Vince would have to give it to him then. I mean, it worked for Big Show.

That's easy. Nipple H isn't female by any way, shape, or form.

Does this bother anyone else? I hate that they take all the stuff that people actually believe, and work that too. Fucking Christ.... It's like the "Boy who cried Wolf." Eventually, someone will really get hurt doing a fake "X-sign" stunt, and bleed to death out there.

True, but WWE makes a point to never mention that he was the WCW champion right before he went to the WWE. In all the time he's been there, they've never mentioned that he's had the title once. Which leads me to think that they want to push him like they did Jericho, as the best wrestler to not win the big one. To be fair they did mention his title win when he first went to the WWE. It was actualy HHH who said it. He went to Benoit and said "The last time I saw you on TV you had a Big shiny gold belt with you." He then holds up the WWE title and says "But this is the WWE and this is the true measuring stick." I remember that, then later that night, he became a Triple H lackey by attacking Foley. Figures.

That's pretty much how they work. Which leads to this problem of the real definition of the "Raw Title." The way I have observed it, when Triple H has the belt, "it dates back to 1904." But when Goldberg or HBK has it, it's "Triple H wants his world title back, because it's his life." So which one do we choose? Of course, I haven't really paid attention to Raw since the racist message of Booker's jobbing at WM 19.

That's a good idea, except that they already did that in 2001. Austin is miles past his prime, it's only the WWE's brainwashing of the fans that gives people the thought that they should tune in every week to watch Austin.
-
In other words, Triple H accomplished what he had set out to do. Make the one guy more "over" than him look like a total dope so that even the fans can't stand it. Exactly why did Austin come back, anyway? I mean he can't wrestle (due to injuries galore, so I let that pass), and now he can't cut it creatively. Funny how Foley was supposed to retire almost four years ago, and he's still around, too.

How do we end up with two straight years of "The Best of Raw," when Smackdown, for two straight years, have had the better matches? Are they trying to tell us that Raw is still the better show show? Because I am still not convinced. Even though I understand that when Smackdown sucks, it really sucks, but when it's good, it's almost awesome.

The OAO Raw Thread for the 8th of December 2003

I liked the first ten seconds of this, but once it was made pretty clear that this was face Rock, I lost all happiness. Typical segment, much like the Booker T thing a few months ago. And I really didn't like his WWE powered bashing of the French. I actually have been reading up on the thing, and that was uncalled for. The French Skunk thing should have been as far as he was allowed to go, but whatever. And he looked out of shape. Did anyone else see how hard he was breathing. But he actually looked a lot thinner, so that puts him over fat Triple H, and he hasn't wrestled in months either. -

Wow, now I've really lost all respect for Chris Jericho. Fighting Trish on a PPV. Who did he piss off now? And the soap opera crap continues to fill the toilet. -
Thus far, I haven't ordered ANY of them. Not worth the money. I always download them the day after. Last PPV I bought was Summerslam 2002. Wanted to see if HBK still had it. Turns out he never really had it after '97, so no more PPVs, easy as that.

Stunning Stacy made no sense, but at least we got to see her ass.
-
Jason Roberts in the first 20 seconds already fucked up his announcing worse than Lilian Garcia ever has. And that's too bad, because he was pretty good on Smackdown when filling in for Tony Chimel. Which makes me think that the fuck up must be some sort of Raw curse, as opposed to him. Makes sense to me, anyway.
-
First time seeing, though, I couldn't help but laugh. No Stevie Night Heat, though, so I didn't watch.
-
So what was she wearing?
-
If these guys knew how to actually "wrestle," there wouldn't be any such injuries.
-
I'm not sure. I liked Chiota on Smackdown. Is Hebner retiring or something?
-
If Jericho wasn't around, I wouldn't hate the guy. But the fact that The Rock jobbed to Y2J in all three of their PPV matches (NM 2001, Ven 2001, RR 2002) and Triple H didn't job in all three of their PPV matches (Fully 2000, WM 18, JD '02) makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

I never did see the guy fight HBK on PPV. I guess no one here wants to see that anyway. We just have to push the younger talent. Rock has been doing that his whole career, so I give him a break. Verbally, it may not be as good as it might have been during the DX era on HBK's part, but whatever.
