Seriously, they all need to die now. At this rate, this thread is going to outdo the Wrestlemania one. That would be the funniest thing of 2006 for me. So is Vince going to pull something at the Hall of Vince ceremony?
-
I seem to remember another guy coming back from a severe leg injury and sucking worse in the ring, but he got a World title run in less than 2 months. Just saying, maybe RVD's being optimistic for a change.
-
Don't blame the fans. This was an internal matter in the WWF until they decided to make it public on their television show. If anything, blame the fans for not walking out on a completely unprofessional company. That was what the WCW fans did. Seriously, if Bret, HHH, Vince, and Shawn all died tomorrow, I might consider being a wrestling fan again. Maybe.
-
So what does this mean exactly? Will McMahon now do the whole introduction of the HOF class right before his match during the show, to really hammer home that Bret is an a-hole who couldn't be bothered to show up? I don't blame Bret for not going. If they hadn't been exploiting this shit to save their bottom dollar on the PPVs which previously hadn't needed to be saved (Summerslam, Wrestlemania), then yeah, I'd be against him too. But it's clear that he doesn't need WWE money and it's clear WWE doesn't need him to make money.

WWE needs to be really careful here. By my count, that's three matches on the card (HHH-Cena because of the Cena hate, the Triple Threat because of the Eddie thing, and Vince-Shawn because of Bret) where the crowd would have a legit excuse to completely turn on the show.

Trish isn't blading at Wrestlemania. That's being reserved for the Triple H match.

This thing died at New Year's Revolution. We're just being forced to watch three more months of it because the WWE has nothing for Wrestlemania. As a Single White Female parody, it blows, because the one weird, entertaining thing about Mickie (her being an obsessed cheerleader) was taken away when they turned her flat-out lesbian. That was back in Christmas. The mystery (and intrigue) of the angle was gone at that point. As a psycho angle, it sucks, because Victoria did a much better job (certainly got more heat) and was a better wrestler. And now she's cow-towing to the Playboy dyke as another stereotypical evil lesbian. Victoria licking Stacy was disturbing and smacking Trish in the head with a chair was brutal, it worked. Mickie tying up Ashely and then kissing Trish? Weak. As a lesbian angle, it's terrible. They can't touch Dawn Marie seducing Torrie in the hotel room. And besides Mickie looking ugly as hell when she dressed up as Trish, we don't know WHY she's doing this. I can't stand this anymore.
-
Should she have beena happy, jolly stalker? Trish should have been the heel. But yes, happy jolly gay stalker is better than this. That kiss got a huge face pop, but it was a heel move.

I officially hate the Trish/Mickie storyline now. Either Mickie wins the title and does nothing with it, or Trish retains and Mickie goes away. That segment on Monday is exactly what I feared it would be, a psycho lesbian going psycho because that's what women wrestlers with lesbian overtones have to do. This angle annoyed me since NYR when they already had the match, and everyone knew Mickie was turning heel at that point. Now it's just another run of the mill Trish fights hard challenger crap that's been going on for the last four years. Except they had to have the heel make out with a bloody, unconscious girl to get people to care. I no longer care.
-
Fuck that preview. I want to know what happens with Trish and Mickie, as it's the only storyline that went anywhere Saturday. Not that it really matters, I was annoyed enough with the three-month tease of Mickie turning heel. Why must the crazy lesbian ALWAYS be evil? Evil Trish is much hotter.

You'd think that after people tried to wipe out New York years ago there'd be some sort of backup plan for a large city that gets hit by a hurricane every fucking year. Seriously, what if Los Angeles gets crushed underfoot by a huge earthquake? If the government treated 2 million people this badly, I'd hate to see what happens to 7 million. This is why I have a problem with our international affairs. This country needs to get its own house in order before it starts invading others.
-
The new policy is bullshit. I can't believe WWE has the audacity to announce it right before everyone on the roster takes off for another exhausting international tour. It was bad enough when it was just cross-country. But now, because the US no longer cares about WWE, they force their wrestlers to take 10-hour flights three days a week, wrestle four shows, and not take anything to compensate, yet they still have to look like Greek gods because that's the image McMahon wants. I'd seriously quit if I was there.

Triple H being invovled in the title match picture helps NO ONE but himself and five other people. Cena vs Edge was the first feud in years that was fresh, had heat, and was a draw. Edge getting demoted from top heel and Cena getting buried (both at HHH's will) is retarded on every level.

Rumsfeld doesn't think we're getting the message out.

Bullshit. Ten minutes with a dish and a digital recorder and anyone can see that we have more than enough resources to brainwash the world. It's just that silly freedom of speech thing that keeps getting in the way. -
Stacy Keibler on Dancing With the Stars Finals Tonight
Karc replied to Fro's topic in The WWE Folder
The amount of money a WWE wrestler makes is directly proportional to Vince McMahon's opinion of that wrestler. That's it. -
If Vince brings her back... ...Seriously, this is the litmus test for me. Will he really do it? Air out all of the dirty laundry (except his own, of course)?

Life begins in hell. A hell called planet Earth.

Stacy Keibler on Dancing With the Stars Finals Tonight
Karc replied to Fro's topic in The WWE Folder
Stacy can dance, knew that already. I think the bigger problem is that this show is beating the Olympics. Moving on... -
Now I'm interested. Does this mean Randy Orton gets punished (and they drop the Eddie thing)? Because petty things like blaming the kid for the father's mistakes is something the WWE does well. Or does he still turn monster heel by spitting on Eddie's grave? Because tasteless angles is also something the WWE is really good at.

On one hand, if Bret gets to say his farewell at the HOF, I'm glad. On the other, the last HOF was nothing but a build to Wrestlemania. And Vince is fighting Shawn. And Bret getting the screwjob has been a focal point. And announcing Bret in HOF 6 weeks in advance is a long time not to have something planned. I really hope this isn't a work.

Writer assistant from Smackdown writes to Meltzer
Karc replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Most tv shows have a core staff of writers and producers who come up with the outlines for an episode. The assistants (or freelancers) in those cases usually write the final drafts and such. What surprises me is that WWE has them at all (or pretends to have them), given that most of their storylines have plotholes, flaws, and other errors that most TV shows would resolve before the script ever reaches the actors' hands. And while the letter may be legit (which would only be suspicious because every wrestling promotion has a top prioity goal of lying to its fans), having a writer's assistant bitch about the WWE is like a janitor wanting two mops to clean a floor. For all we know, this "assistant" could just be getting Ace's coffee, or dressing up Triple H in those suits. The problem isn't the people we hear vocally complain about the product, because they can be ignored and dismissed or only given time because the WWE knows that they are harmless in the end. It's the people causing the problem who refuse to listen. Sure, this writer could complain, but Vince doesn't know who it is, so he can just axe all of the assistants, citing their "basic stupidity and rebellious nature" to the company. Same with the wrestlers. And it's probably not true that they are unworthy of the position, but when the guy on top owns everything, what can you do? -
What was the name of the better virus scanner? I'm having a similar problem with my PC. I got the Trojan.zlob virus, or at least that is what Norton is telling me. The really annoying part is that it detects two infected files, a tmp file and an unknown file. So, no matter how many times I delete the tmp file, the unknown file is still there, and is probably replicating the virus. I don't want to reformat yet because I have a ton of stuff on my pc.

I'm sick of the Trish-Mickie storyline. It was mildly interesting when Mickie was an obsessed fan, because it was a question of whether Trish would get fed up with it. Now the storyline is right out of Single White Female, and that movie sucked. WWE is quickly turning me into a homophobe, because I fear their constant need to turn every diva into a lesbian. And it's giving legitimate hot-looking lesbians a bad name.

Using Eddie's death in storylines - So, are all of you finally aga
Karc replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Mysterio could have said no, but then he would have buried on TV. WWE could have told him not to go to the funeral, and use his career as a bargaining chip. Either way, the WWE was going to use Eddie's death one way or another. Yes, he could quit on principle, but I'm beginning to think that he thought this was a good idea at the start. And it might have been, if he had been working on a real TV show or on a real sport. But WWE is neither. -
It makes sense for McMahon to stick HBK in the tournament, like Austin in the '98 Survivor Series. Everyone watching will think HBK is winning, but then McMahon will screw HBK. That's the story. He's putting Micheals in the tournament to fuck with him, and the fans.
