  1. I'm a bit rusty, but I believe Plasmas put electricity into individual little pockets of gas to make them change color, while LCDs use a lightbulb in the back and a lot of extremely small mirrors to generate the picture. Plasmas look better and can get bigger, but they don't last as long as LCDs
  2. I agree about Clerks, the ending just comes out of nowhere and (no pun intended) kills the mood
  3. Original plans perhaps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's fixed now
  4. I also have Lilith if you want to work with her, but not this week, I'm going to be on vacation
  5. I sort of get the feeling Curtis Martin has fallen off the map, I mean, he always seems to put up good numbers, but ask someone to name a Jet and you'll get Pennington 99% of the time. I, of course, know him better from his days with the Patriots
  6. I always liked Perkins and Schrempf, they were good role players. I don't think Wilkins was really under rated, he was promoted to a pretty decent degree in the old NBA videos, I always thought Drexler got overlooked though, but I didn't see him much
  7. I liked it, especially the little touch about Axel having a generic entrance theme, that was cute. Solid show, I just wish I coulda done more to help with Otaku's segment, but I had trouble getting to Ed
  8. No, he looks AWFUL in his OVW pics, Obessesed With Wrestling has some pre CCC pics
  9. Back when he was on the Celtics, I LOVED David Wesley. I remember listening to almost every game the season they only won 15 games(and somehow didn't get the first pick, otherwise we'd have Tim Duncan) and he seemed to play so hard. I remember he even once played a whole game, all 48 minutes, and wondering how he wasn't on the All Star team. I think he ended up being part of the great Rick Patino release a thon which also cost us Rick Fox, although I never thought he was great. I'm also a fan of Tim Wakefield, because the knuckleball is just so cool, and he was the best pitcher for the Red Sox the year I got into baseball, 1995. Troy Brown has only recently been getting the love he deserves. Anyone else have players they love who get little/no attention?
  10. However, the AO means that most stores won't carry it, thus potenitally crippling further sales. I never liked the concept behind GTA, anyhow, but I'm old school, give me a princess to rescue and I'm a happy geek.
  11. Rest in peace, Mr. Scott. I'm guessing we'll be saying goodbye to William Shatner or Leonard Nimoy next.
  12. Patrick Stewart will always be Captain Picard to me, and I just think he looks downright odd with hair now, even on this DVD I saw that had him doing Shakespeare, which is his specialty, if I'm not mistaken
  13. Yeah, I was disappointed with Atomic Bomb too
  14. I'd have to say Hogan was one of the best loved faces, and quite possibly the most hated heel during various parts of his career.
  15. I wish him the best so that he decides to not rap anymore and thus my little brother won't want to buy his CDs.
  16. I think U2 made an awesome comeback with All That You Can't Leave Behind, one of my favorite CDs, after the awful album known as Pop
  17. Awesome show, the Heartland match was impressive, and while he forgot about Mike Guerriero, I really liked how Ed did the Ayane/Lindsay match. The women's match was crazy too
  18. Road Dogg was perfectly fine as a midcard wrestler, particularly considering he spent large amounts of time working with Billy Gunn, Chyna, and X-Pac. I can't speak for his TNA work, I haven't seen enough of it.
  19. Except Road Dogg is enertaining and didn't squash every heel in the midcard during one summer
  20. I love the idea, as I've always wanted to see the Japanese and Korean baseball styles, and the whole thing just sounds cool. I'm not suprised about Cuba though
  21. I wouldn't call him Kimo because some might confuse him with the MMA fighter, who used to be pretty good from what I understand, but he got KO'ed by Shamrock with knee blows while on the juice at UFC 48 or so, so I don't think you want the association
  22. Doesn't suprise me a bit, they were playing with fire and now they have to pull themselves out by actually doing something mature with this angle.
  23. How in the name of God did I forget the man in my signature, Hayabusa had no regard for his body whatsoever, really, going back, it's no suprise he paralyzed himself
  24. Bret Hart might not have had the run of rotten luck he's had since his retirement had he retired earlier. The argument could also be ame for Owen, although there was no way of knowing that would happen(unless you believe Piper's theory about Russo). I don't know, as much as I enjoy watching them wrestle, Benoit, Angle, and everyone with a broken neck should retire, for their own sake. For soem reason I think Booker should retire too, I don't know why, his ring work doesn't bother me.
