Crimson Skull vs Manson should be nominated for comedy moment. That was AWESOME. Oh, and for Bruce (and indeed Marcus Ward) - I apologise for rather pwning Ward in the tag match, but I found out on Sunday night that Card wasn't writing his half, so I just blasted it out. This mean that I got in all the moves and cheating I wanted to, and only then realised that I'd only allowed J3 to get in much offence. But I was stretched for time, so I left it. Sorry.

Others I might have forgotten. So I'm going to post links to my best matches and promos for your easy reference. If anyone wants to nominate them, that's fine and dandy. If not, that's fine too. The Hville Thugg & Edwin MacPhisto Cup of Champions - For Best World Champion I'm torn. Ejiro for holding the belt for a goodly while, or Sacred for fulfilling his potential and becoming World Champion for the second time, what, three years after his first reign? SACRED. The Fallout ICTV Champion of the Year Award Landon. Gotta be. The Thoth US Champion of the Year Award I'm saying Cortez. The Andrew Blackwell International Champion of the Year Award Jay Hawke. He's practically made it his belt. The Grimedogg Hardcore Champion of the Year Award - Cortez again. That Hardcore reign was AWESOME, and featured some great matches. The El Luchadore Magnifico Cruiserweight Champion of the Year Award - Again, I'm torn between Spike for sheer length and Pretzler for bringing it into the forefront of the fed. So I'll nominate BOTH.

OK so it's only been a feud recently, but this has been in the works since the SWF Christmas Party. That takes planning, folks. CYCLONE COMET TROPHY FOR PROMO WRITER OF THE YEAR -Scott Pretzler. I'm not sure if the guy has even ever had opening promo, but no-one else writes promos as intentionally irritating. I like Pretzler, I like his character, but the promos STILL infuriate me. And they're meant to. The best example of someone writing promos absolutely perfect for his character. NATHANIEL KIBAGAMI AWARD FOR PROMO OF THE YEAR -To come.

Danny vs Johnny? Sweet.

The Crimson Skull's match was great. As was Johnson's main event, which while not quite as brilliant as the one that beat Pretzler was still a very good piece of writing indeed. Nice to see the new character introducing themselves, although it was bizarre to read a past-tense promo in this show. Oh, and Wild and Dangerous did something! w00t!

The Jayson Grant Memorial Trophy - For Wrestler of the Year Todd Cortez. Always around, always reliable. On the edge of a main-event push, been involved in angles (Martial Law/Rev-0, Landon/Megan). Some have achieved more, few have been more reliable. The Divefire Memorial Trophy - For Comeback Wrestler of the Year Ejiro and ELM. Ejiro won the World Title, ELM has slotted back in like he's never been away. The Jay Dawg Improvement Award - For Most Improved Wrestler Spike Jenkins. The Axis Memorial Trophy - For Most Under-appreciated Wrestler Todd Cortez, Spike Jenkins. The Rane Memorial Trophy - For Most Impressive Career Sacred. LONG-standing member of the fed, finally won a second World Title. And Ejiro, the dominant tag wrestler who came back to pick up the World Title for a second time with a reign only beaten by me since his previous run with the strap. The Fallen Tag Team Trophy - For Tag Team of the Year Gotta go with the record-breaking Wild & Dangerous, really. The Midnight Carnival Cup - For Stable of the Year Since i don't feel comfortable nominating my own Revolution Zero, I'll have to say Martial Law. The Ace of Clubs Trophy - For Heel of the Year Scott Pretzler. He cut a promo on Rickmen after he DIED. The William Heartford Trophy - For Rookie of the Year Scott Pretzler and Zyon. Pretzler is all kinds of awesome on a semi-regular basis and has brilliant promos. Zyon is going the right way to become a major force in the fed. The Grand Slam Trophy - For Face of the Year Landon Maddix, strange as it may seem. And Todd Cortez.

Some of you may have noticed that we have a new award this year - for INternational Champion of the Year. You might also have noticed that Andrew Blackwell (Sacred) never held this belt. So here's why it's in his name. a) Sacred is a great writer, who is often undervalued (not least by himself), is a very long-standing member of the fed and probably deserves an award named after him. b) He has had notable runs with both the ICTV and US/USJL titles, the two belts that the International Title was composed of. c) He's currently retired, so won't be in the running for an award named after himself, unlike all International Champions we've had.
