  1. But anyone who knows Vince knows that he would never allow that to happen. He'd want Orton or the Squad or Masters or Carlito or someone to go out there and try to use the moment to help Vince. Or he'd want Bret to sign a "legends" contract before he put him on Mania.
  2. No thanks. Good cast and all, but no. I won't be seeing any of the 9/11 movies.
  3. Now that you mention it... He did get banned? Where did this happen?
  4. He's an idiot sure, but we didn't ban Desperate Housewife so why ban fanofcoils? I still have no clue what he is talking about but I'm just going to start approaching him like I do DH. Not even bother using posts on him and just let him yell at the wall that EVERYTHING makes him dizzy. He should really see a doctor about that cause it seems like every film makes him dizzy. V for Vendetta, Hills have Eyes and Inside Man made him dizzy. I don't even want to know what a roller coaster would do to him, probably kill him. We should dip into the "buy WildPegasus a hooker" fund and get the man a check-up before we ban him.

    THIEF

Over there got better at the end of the show when things started happening and they actually gave the characters personality. Wasn't shocked to see it cancelled, just disappointed. Kind of like when WANTED was canned on TNT, not shocked but disappointed. Same thing with Lucky, it just felt like a niche show that was going to need a few seasons to find an audience. I'd imagine Rescue Me will lighten up this season as Tommy seems to be getting his demons in order. They can't lose that dramatic fucked up edge though, it's too awesome. THIEF looks like it has great potential with an outstanding cast. Hopefully it holds together.
  6. Entirely possible as her weight could have been caused by another condition. I wouldn't have a clue but yeah, but first thought was her weight had something to do with it.
  7. Go to the V for Vendetta thread. It's on the last page. You'll see it and everyone trying to figure what the flying fuck he was talking about. I read it and I STILL have no fucking clue what the fuck is wrong with him.
  8. How the FUCK can Full Metal Jacket be a clone of Saving Private Ryan?!?! Makes no fucking sense no matter how many times he tries to explain it.
  9. What the hell is with all the people hit by trains on this site? Love how one of the dead kids has a picture of Eric Cartman. That's really sad. And what's worse, a lot of them you aren't surprised how they died. The one with alcohol, died of a car crash or something while drinking. The emo depressed ones, died of suicide. The ones who look like people who say "not guilty your honor" alot, shot by police.
  10. You and your teen comedies. Although how does she fool anyone in that flick into thinking she's a guy? She doesn't exactly have a boyish body. My girl reacted the same way I did, "wow, is it bad that it was way too easy for Amanda to look like a boy?" She doesn't have a boyish body but damn does she have a boyish face when she has short hair. She went from attractive to, "well now it would be like wanting to have sex with a 15 yr old boy". Body is easy to cover up. It's just really sad her face looked so much like a boy just hitting puberty.
  11. What in the HELL is this even about?
  12. He chose the smaller stage that will reach all the fans instead of the huge stage that would have made Vince a buck. Where is Bret wrong here? Shawn never apologized and instead of risking confrontation and any anger he may still have towards Shawn, he'd rather either HBK stayed away or Bret just not go. Apparently both sides know this is the case, Shawn knew that's what it was going to take and Bret just confirmed it. A real jerk would have said come to the Hall of Fame and then made a big scene or started a fight to taint the whole thing giving Vince a big smile and laugh. He wants to say goodbye on his terms with the people he wants there. Where is the problem with it?
  13. There was ZERO chance of that happening. I've read, or heard somewhere, out of Bret's mouth, he was going to do it, because he was offered a lot of money to do so, and was already angry with Vince and company. Bret actually cared about the belt and wasn't about to disgrace it. He never had any intention, they offered him alot to do it and he turned them down. He didn't like it when Medusa did it and he wasn't about to do it to the belt he actually gave a damn about. And that little lawsuit thing. Stupid enter key, I hate you. They didn't offer him anything to do it because they'd open themselves up to a lawsuit they would have lost. Am I getting him and Madusa mixed up?

  15. Bret has gotten over it as much as he can with Vince obsessively bringing it up on a regular basis and constantly wanting Bret to be part of a Montreal angle, which he knows Bret wants nothing to do with. Bret should have known far before now that Vince is a mentally unstable ego-manical sociopath. Hell, I work for one; but that doesn't mean I go and piss myself silly every time he does something stupid just because he's a rich, obnoxious jerk, which is almost every day. Bret has the right to say "thanks but no thanks". He isn't trying to be difficult, it serves no purpose for him to show up at Mania. None. He gets to do his speech and say his goodbye at the Hall of Fame and that is all he ever wanted to do. He doesn't like Shawn, he doesn't want to be civil with a man who still doesn't want to take any blame for what he did and I like how he's approaching it. He doesn't trust himself around Shawn and the best way for him to avoid doing something he might regret is just to keep away from him.
  16. I don't remember Cable in the cartoons. Was that the 90's toon or the more recent pile of shit X-Men Evolution cartoon? I know he was in the 90's one since they show the repeats on ToonDisney. Or at least they did. I don't know if they still do. Damn, I must not have caught all of 'em then because I only remember Bishop coming to the past. That's one show that needs a damn DVD treatment. They did it for the Fantastic Four, I don't understand why they can't do it for this series! Cable comes back in time to stop Acop after the big blue fellow steals some computer from the future with a weird plan involving psychics. Bishop runs around doing stuff, Wolverine gets infected with a virus but his body cures it and Acop fails miserably on all accounts. It was like a four parter in season four. You're mixing up a few different episodes. Wolvie becoming infected was in a completely different adventure than the issue with the psychics. Apocalypse was the villian in both sagas though, and Bishop and Cable were featured in both. Yeah, it's just such a pain remembering the order of them when ToonDisney played them out of order and they kinda overlapped.
  17. Doesn't have just that one act, though? No, he does have some different material but he hasn't had many specials. His Sears tire story and "Got thrown out of a bar in NYC" will never stop though.
  18. Didn't help when the President of Mexico basically said, "nah man, you guys are doing fine employing the people of my country. We're cool with you paying for everything." I've never had a problem with people who come here to work towards becoming a citizen and establish a life here. I've had a major problem with the ones who come and are just looking to make some dough to send home then bounce. Not as mad as the Mexicans working towards citizenship are. They get REALLY pissed off. You wanna here someone rip the illegals? Find a legal Mexican-American citizen. Those are some bitter guys.
  19. There is a big truth that always stands in sports: Fans love the underdog. Trust me, CBS will not be hurting if George Mason gets to the finals unless Mason implodes. CBS is fine no matter what the outcome is. Although an all SEC finals is probably the worst thing for the ratings.
  20. The George Mason coach is pretty damn cool as well so are the fans Those are direct quotes from Comcast SportsNet. Here is the full article
  21. Makes you wonder what Hofstra would have done in the tournament huh? The CAA might have just earned themselves a lot more berths in the future. So come ON Delaware, get off your ass and start recruiting. Sadly, they won't get any more bids. Kent making the Elite 8 a few years ago did zero for the MAC. *still bitter about last year*. You're more than likely right but hopefully it'll get some teams some more looks. Getting to the Final Four is huge for all the mid majors as it hasn't been done since Indiana St and they were a 1 seed that year. I think the selection group needed a team to finally come along and justify the mid major teams should be in for the future. Both Kent St and the Zags had partially opened the door, now they just need someone to kick it open. It also helped that a lot of the mid majors got out of the first round.
  22. Here we go again. It's like waiting for Mt. St Helen's to erupt. I'll see it sometime this upcoming weekend, maybe before I see Ice Age 2.
  23. Plus he got to punch Vince. That probably cleared up a lot of the anger he had towards him.
  24. Probably didn't help matters that Shane used the Montreal finish at SNME. Bret doesn't want to be at Mania and he doesn't want to be anywhere near HBK who still constantly turns all the blame away from himself about the situation. Bret wants to say goodbye at the ceremony and not get sucked into a Mania situation where Randy Orton or someone would come out and cut some promo on him and dare him to hit them knowing he really can't.
  25. Just outside of Washington, DC in Fairfax, VA which is why it was basically a home game for them. And yes, Packer did call them out. So he can enjoy his humble pie now. ETA: East Potomac Park is the memorial, I ALWAYS screw that up.
