  1. I haven't watched RAW that much in the last two months All I remember about their theme is Lemmy singing like, well, Lemmy. Lyrics are an afterthought
  2. Odds she broke it doing a 'rana - 2:1 Odds she broke it doing an armdrag - 3:2
  3. <checks betting pool> Okay, who had four months?
  4. Awww, e-feds are competing for my services... I feel just like Scott Steiner... <slips off the ring apron>
  5. <puts on dunce cap> I thought we were making general song parodies here, whoops. What's the whole "rhyme with '-een'" thing?
  6. That was about the same time as my coming of age for hating popular music as well... and I was only 17, wasn't that the music that was supposed to speak to me? apparently not The big thing that made me realize the crock of popular music was this chain of events 1994 - Sheryl Crow first hits the spotlight. In concert/unplugged footage I see of her, she plays up to the "good girl" role. Fair enough 1995 - Alanis Morrissette hits big with her whiny man-hate-o-rama that was Jagged Little Pill. Her songs get mucho airplay on the alternative station that had been a staple in my car at the time, and that same station gradually gets weened off my radio. 1996 - Next thing I know, I see Sheryl Crow on the cover of Rolling Stone, and he don't look like no good girl anymore... plus the hit singles off her second album seemed very Morrissette-ish, hmmm... and that's when it hit me Thankfully time has moved both of them out of the mainstream, although I think I'd rather have them back than deal with the DIVA WARZ that are going on now
  7. This is the book that never ends It goes on and on my friends...
  8. JESUS CHRIST! GET IT OUT GET IT OUT GET IT OUT GET IT OUT! ::starts carving stomach open until all vital organs fall out:: Much better. <gathers up organs and sells them for a nice profit>
  9. Awww but I thought I was Eagan Or Plunderin was Eagan Maybe there's a little Eagan inside all of us...
  10. I'll half-agree with this. Since McFarlane is the #1 brain, I think he can make it work even with a new team of writers On the other hand, how many people marked for the return of Ren and Stimpy under John K, only to abandon it after about 10 minutes into the first new episode?
  11. Hmmm I dunno, I've never been a fantasy wrestler of any sort. As you've probably seen on this board, I get my net kicks by poking fun at assorted things in life (yeah, me and every other comedian).

    Ric Flair DVD

Finished the first match (Harley Race) plus all the buildup and post footage And this is only the beginning... One funny thing I remember was a shoot interview with Race where he talks about how Kiniski was just in the way and caused more problems in the match than he helped with (e.g. the match ending)
  13. So SWF = serious e-fed and OAOAST = comedy e-fed, essentially?
  14. Since I've never bothered to go over to that section of TSM what does OAOAST stand for?
  15. As I'm watching the 1985 match with Dusty Rhodes on the Ric Flair DVD set... What was up with that softball sized lump under Dusty's right pec? I remember reading it was something like a tumor or something like that. Anyone remember what it was?
  16. I had the money for one of these, but I opted for the ivory back-scratcher instead
  17. Slayer

    Ric Flair DVD

Minor complaint as I previewed the DVD is that so far, I've only found one full entrance for Flair... The entrance was half the fanfare of his matches!
  18. He's just going to return... ...what, you expect them to put effort into it?

    Drumlines

    coke lines > drum lines
  20. After going back and rereading it, in spite of the recent resurrection, I'd also like to nominate Ghettopoly Mixes funny and serious so well
  21. <hits every one of you, uses 10 minute gap in time to make his getaway before you feel anything>
  22. <WWE management walking down street> We love you Evolution, oh yes we do We won't push anyone as much as you When you're not on our screen, we're blue Oh Evolution we love you
  23. Evolution, their teeth are big and green Evolution, they smell like gasoline Evolution, da-da-da-dution They are like sisters Their push-es, I missed-es
  24. That is funny. I'd like to hear what Missouri has done in that same time period... wait, I already know this one. Missouri football has only been known for two things in the last 10 years: 1. Losing to Nebraska on that kickup-ball in '97, and 2. Having their victory over Nebraska this year overshadowed by one of their students getting cold-cocked by an NU player. Now, I hate Nebraska as much as any purple blooded KSU fan, but Missouri needs to learn their role in this, namely that, just like Kansas, they're mostly a basketball school. In short, STFU.
  25. As said before, one of my biggest problems with the newer Simpsons in the last couple years is that it's become SNL, i.e. new celebrity guest each week, and said celeb almost always play themselves rather than a character like they did in the old days "Oh my god! You're <random celebrity>!" got old a long time ago
