  1. This says it all, doesn't it?
  2. It's a decent Japanese team. Nothing special.
  3. Wow, 3 dates a month. I wonder if the workers will actually get a raise, or if they're going to continue getting lousy wages. It's a good thing for wrestling fans, and not-so-good a thing for the workers. TNA advertised itself to the workers as a chance at 4 extra dates per month on top of their current dates. Now it will be 3 dates a month, and they can't work the highest paying indy in the country. Great.
  4. You're a moron. He had TREMENDOUS matches as a heel. Benoit and Angle's best WWE matches were with Austin during this period. He had a damn good match with Van Dam. He had a damn good match with Booker. He carried Taker bigtime at J-day. He carried the vast majority of the May tag. Austin's 2001 is widely considered one of the best years of work EVER for a single worker, get a fucking clue.
  5. Austin + Jarrett = Hatred. That would never happen. Austin can go work some lazy 10 minute dome matches with no bumps and make a SHITLOAD of money.
  6. Man these guys tried really hard, but the crowd totally did not give a shit. As a match it wasn't really good since it was just a collection of spots, but I think the (lack of) reaction to this was indicative of what the Nashville fans like. They don't really want to see 2 random guys thrown out there to put on a nice spotfest. This isn't an ROH crowd that might chant "please come back" after that match, because it's not what they want. They want long, dramatic matches. Hell, they don't even have to be GOOD. Look at the heat for Raven-Harris, which was the fucking pits in terms of work. The crowd cared about that match. The X division needs to evolve. With guys like Ki, Daniels, Sabin, and a couple others, these guys are really capable of putting on longer, dramatic matches with the spots spread out well. Why is Chris Daniels being forced to work like he did in 1999, when his current work would make this crowd like his matches a lot more? I think Daniels vs. Ki in an "RoH-Style" match for 16 minutes would get way more heat than these 6-ways. Anyway, just food for thought. I think the X Division needs change.
  7. Yes it did suck, but wrestling games sell like hotcakes.
  8. House shows did hurt ECW. Joey Styles even said they made more on the videogame than they did in 2 years of house shows.
  9. Geez, was the short bus low on room today? BPS said something about people being hesitant to send money to RF Video. I said that sales were back to normal, so it wasn't a factor. Are you in ESL?
  10. Kanemoto? Are you shitting me?
  11. God you're a fucking dipshit. Read the thread. Gabe said today that they are in the process of changing it.
  12. It really doesn't, since they originally decided not to change it because sales were back to normal.
  13. They are changing the name. Gabe said it today. Not that it will make a difference to anyone, anyway.
  14. Not really, he adds a move or two. He fucking blows over there too.
  15. He would work matches. There is major money to be made, even if it's just a 10 minute match without many bumps. He could do a few of these on big dome cards, and make major bank.
  16. I just wish they had done this with someone worthy of the push.
  17. I think they should turn Raven on Harris next week, and do an offshoot feud with them and fall back on Jarrett-Styles. Styles can win the belt, and then their first feud on free TV can be the hottest one they have....Raven-Styles.
  18. Russo is so turning on Harris next week.
  19. Chris Daniels wasnt on this show?
  20. That was more like his last good match period, not just in TNA.
  21. Well, at least Raven's streak of terrible singles matches continued then.
  22. Haha.
  23. So, uh, how was the show. Way to be vague as hell guys!
  24. His match with Daniels in the PWG world title tournament (BAM 3000) is really great.
  25. Kazarian is actually quite solid as a heavyweight style wrestler, as he's had plenty of good indy matches working that way. The problem is he absolutely does not fit the mold of the X Division. His match with Chris Daniels in PWG was worked in a heavyweight style, and was better than any Daniels match in TNA. Then again, it got about 25 minutes.
