Yeah, Chavo bumped him (but Kendrick did flip all the way around, too...) so they're both at fault, I suppose. That's a dangerous spot to do, too, in this case.
He rana'd Chavo over, Kendrick over-rotated, tried to hold on, but fell off when Chavo bumped into him. Kendrick had his eyes bulged and was like "NO! WHAT?" NO!"
I like Punk, he has some nice strikes and great facial expressions, but I think this is a case of wanting a ROH angle a little too much. You want the guy to go from debuting to beating the biggest merchandise seller and arguably most popular star in the history of wrestling in his comeback match. Again, I like Punk, I just think that's a little much.
Then again, I want Cena Vs. Khali to main event WM 24.
"with Austin coming out of retirement at 'Slam to put Punk over."
Please explain how it comes to be that Austin refused to put over a superior athletic former NCAA Champion and legit monster killer in Brock Lesnar, yet he decides to end his retirement and does so by choosing CM Punk to beat him. If this happened, Punk would be the least liked (as in X-Pac Heat) wrestler of the decade.
Please let there be a draft because Raw, without the SD! talent and CM Punk from ECW, is awful.
Orton/Edge's storyline the lone exemption, but c'mon, it's two heels.
The Worst Manager in Baseball Charlie Manuel puts the Phillies CLOSER in for the 9th, when the game is tied.
He then puts Shits Madson in for the 10th, who gives up the big homerun. BRILLIANT, CHARLIE!
New season, same suck.
But they were more over and less generic talkers. Plus, each had already been heavily pushed and you could tell the company had total faith in them. MVP's biggest accomplishment to date is getting his ass set on fire. If they keep this "MVP matches Benoit move for move" stuff up, he'll be fine. Just lose the shirt top.
I like MVP a lot. He's charismatic, has a decent enough moveset (I don't really like the Overdrive/PotD, though), he just looks silly and thus, to new fans, who he needs to win over, I think he comes off as a comedy character.
I just mentioned that he rang the bell early. I never said that had anything to do with my opinion of the show. Read my post. And relax.
The show did suck, but it wasn't because of the timekeeper.
The timekeeper was just one of the tons of cherries on top of the crap pie.
