"It's happened before." So? It still looked stupid. But wasn't anywhere near the lamest/fakest thing to happen in that match. And the timekeeper does not ring the bell until the referee signals him, so your point is irrelevant. It was awkward and botched.

Other WM Moments: After HBK works on Cena's knee for eternity, Cena no-sells it and does several moves where he runs at Shawn, and then jumps around all "fired up". The timekeeper RINGS THE BELL as Lashley has a 2 count on Umaga. Is Mickie pregnant? She was definately bigger and didn't take any bumps or punches.

HBK Vs. Cena was basically HHH Vs. Cena from last year, except the crowd cared about last year's match, HHH's offense was better (the fucking knee? in the MAIN EVENT of WM? That crowd was SILENT.), and the match was nowhere near as good as HHH/Cena. TERRIBLE placement as the main, since Taker/Batista actually wasn't bad. Taker/Batista was better than HBK/Cena. I fully believe this. Oh, who will ever forget the STUNNER ON TRUMP. HA. Try showing that on Raw.

BAD, BAD WRESTLEMANIA. Great opener. And then ENDLESS VIDEO PACKAGE, TIME FILLER, and WALK TO THE RING ensues. Batista/Taker was better than I expected, but still average. Taker bumped well. Kane/Khali was abysmal. Melina/Ashley was abysmal. MVP looks like a joke and needs to change that hideous outfit. Match was decent. Cena/Michaels was so SLOW and BAD, save for the nearfall teases at the end. They just WASTED SO MUCH TIME on this show. Bad WM. Needed 2 or 3 more matches, honestly. Even if they weren't great. Really disappointed.

I am SO happy the shitty Taker/Batista title change goes on in the middle, I didn't want that crap ending the show.

Predictions: Benoit over MVP. MVP bleeds and/or gets made by Benoit here. Benoit gets no handshake. Melina over Ashley via whatever her finisher is. Khali over Kane with tree slam. Originals over New Breed, RVD and Sabu shine. Kennedy wins MITB. Orton's babyface turn begins, Punk shines, Hardy Swanton through a table. Lashley over Umaga. Vince is bald. Rey and Eugene out there. Cena over Michaels in a bloodbath. Taker over Batista with two tombstones. It doesn't come close to touching WM 20 for drama and star-power matches, which I'm watching now, and that WM wasn't even great. Just referencing WM 20 for the era of "thrown together a month-to-weeks ahead" schedule WM does for WM now. 17's still the best WM. It's a shame WM title matches are "two guys who haven't worked each other a lot and alledgedly pose a dream match scenario" instead of "I CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS GUY GET THE BELT" or "FINALLY, BIG HEEL GETS HIS." Sigh. What I want to see: Orton get big pop for punching Edge out. Big crazy ladder spots. Punk wins MITB. MVP and Benoit go 20. Michaels kick Cena's head off and win title. Taker win title. RVD/Sabu do the Heatwave '98 double table finish to Striker and Burke. Bald Trump. Lashley takes a bribe from Vince at end and screws Trump, turns mega-heel.
