I just watched IGN's bra and panties play of the day match from 8/30.. ..Trish puts Sable on her back, spreads her legs apart and drives her fist downstairs. Twice. Meanwhile, Tazz says "that was a great move" literally five times. ..that was hot.

They could have put Lynn/RVD from GAC2001 on there. It's the last ECW PPV match, and (IMO) better than Hardcore Heaven. Oh yeah, and I'm probably the only one here who would actually buy a DVD of Tanaka vs. Awesome. One of my favourite feuds ever. 12/24/99 = the shit.

How about a Mega Fantasy "Competition"?

As for Steviekick's question, making it just WWE would be a lot easier, but I wanted this to be different from the WWE Fantasy league. Even now, it's quite similar. I just noticed I didn't finish this reply. I'm weird like that. Because of time restrictions, I think it would be better if just the seven of you played and you drafted ten wrestlers each, for a total of 70 overall. Let me know if this doesn't sound good to you. What I'm thinking, Zach, is that we'd start drafting Sept. 5th. From Sept. 5th to the 27th, you can drop any one of the wrestlers you picked for a "free agent" (like say nobody picked Colon yet). On Oct. 1st, you can't draft any more free agents, but you can do trades with other participants until Oct. 31st's trade deadline. Also, there's a 24 hour time limit to make your picks. Say G_Money goes first, followed by Cuban_Linx. G_Money picks Triple H at 5:44 AM EST. If Cuban_Linx doesn't draft a wrestler by 5:44 AM EST the next day, then he's skipped and whomever's third goes next. If you've been skipped, please make your pick(s?) once you get back online. By this time, you may have unfortunately missed out on some wrestlers you wanted. If you'll be unable to respond for 24 hours or more at any point during the drafting, please mention that in the thread. If someone goes AWOL for 24 hours twice in a row, then they're subsequently skipped every time until they get back and respond. Sorry, but we've gotta make deadline. If not everyone has their 70 wrestlers by Oct. 1st, then the rest of their rosters will be determined via lottery (aka. me picking names out of my Titans cap). You have been warned. You can trade wrestlers at any point. Make sure to read your SmackDown spoilers, because you don't want to trade away the new Cruiserweight Champion by Thursday. I'll try and get a schedule together of events taking place during the season. So this sounds good to everybody involved? If nobody has any objections, we'll start drafting on Sunday. Hopefully this doesn't interfere in anybody's schoolwork. Edit: Steviekick, I think we'll hold the draft seperately (the OAO Fantasy League thread) and that's where all deh bid'ness will go down. -

I love how Michael Cole sticks up for anything Eddie does by saying Eddie just likes to have fun and the like. Also, him calling Tazz "partner" was sickening. -
How about a Mega Fantasy "Competition"?

Alright, now that I've got people willing to participate/help(?), I'll try and make my rambling clearer and specify what I would need/what would be done. Mind you, this is a work in progress. Suggestions would be super. It would basically be fantasy baseball, but about wrestling. The "season" would last from Sept. 27 to December 15. Participants would be able to pick from a roster including WWE, NWA-TNA and RoH workers. After everyone has their initial roster set, the season will begin. You can win points, and lose points depending on the performances of your wrestlers and the outcome of their matches. You can trade up until Oct. 31's trade deadline. You can't draft free agents (wrestlers nobody else picked). On 12:00 AM Dec. 15th, whomever's roster has garnered the most points wins. In case of a tie (which isn't likely, whomever gets Triple H is going to win), then those two (or three) will go for one more week. So I'd need results to RAW, SmackDown, Velocity, Heat, Impact, TNA PPVs and RoH supercards. Then I could determine which participants get points for their wrestlers' victories. Example: Each Monday afternoon, I'd update with the results of the past week and the scoreboard. In brackets would be the number of points your workers made this week. How do you get points, you ask? Easy. So there's lots of points to go around. Feel free to sell wrestlers to eachother for points, if you wish. No deadline on that. Tips It's smarter to pick wrestlers who wrestle frequently. RoH and NWA-TNA won't be holding as many shows in this time period, so their workers won't be used as much. On the other hand, you can expect to see Sylvan Grenier rack up points just because he's on TV 24-7. Don't pick Test. If your wrestler is "suspended", is injured, leaves the promotion or just doesn't wrestle, that's the shits for you. You won't be getting points for inactive wrestlers. Samoa Joe usually wins (unless it's a non-title match) and he regularly defends his title. I'd say he's a smart pick. Once again, feel free to point out anything that doesn't make sense to you or something with loose ends. I'll try and clarify everything as best I can. Suggestions are appreciated. If everybody seems to be content with the way it is now, I'll start taking entries. EDIT: Just so you know, I won't be playing. And I think we'll take 10 entries, 15 workers each. No more than that. Already playing, I assume are Real F'n Show, The Voice, Steviekick and Zach Malibu. That's the order you'll draft in, so far. -
Holy shit, that's a shock. Awesome that Tommy got a promotion, though. He deserves it. Seems like a genuinely nice guy.

That was somewhat out of place.

"E-C-DUBYA!" "E-C-DUBYA!" Anyways, what the hell was that? I did like the matching yellow hats though.

What, nobody knows who my quotes are from? 2, 4 and 5 are pretty easy.

I just thought of this while watching RVD/Benoit from SS2002. After RVD wins the match, he's laying on his back. Because of the camera view, you can't see his face so you can't tell if he's hurt, knocked out or what. Then Howard Finkel says "new WWE Intercontinental champion.. Rob Van Dam" and RVD does the thumbs taunt. Awesome. Also, Triple H driving the forklift and a bloody Vince peering over the ring apron at XIX were great as well. So what are some of the funniest sight gags or wrestling sequences you've seen?

Somebody needs to make a .gif for Whiny Bitches, like how administrators and moderators have their own. That would be awesome. It should be neon-green text. All credit goes to me.

I'll let you guys guess who my top five are. 1. (when asked what he'll be drinking) "Hair of the dog that bit me, Lloyd." 2. "You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake." 3. "That's when I knew I never would have come back from Florida alive." 4. "You want some ice cream, Doc?" 5. "I made coffee through Desert Storm."

Just when we hadn't had too many of these stories in a while.. Man kills dog with sword. Asshole. -
I wasn't. They'd just beat me with sticks when I wouldn't shut up.

What I'm thinking is around the lines of the WWE Fantasy competition, which was modeled off some of the fantasy leagues already on the internet. I'm not suggesting this as an alternative to the WWE Fantasy league, because that will obviously be a lot more fun. But this one could expand further- NWA-TNA and RoH at first, and if this all goes well, maybe even PWG, AJPW, NOAH and whatever promotions are still holding frequent shows. Drafting wrestlers sounds, uh, easy. We'd have a number of participants who would pick a number of wrestlers. Not every wrestler in all the promotions would be chosen, I assume. I'm looking at rules like +5 for your dude competing in a match, +5 for winning, -5 if the your wrestler(s) are disqualified (no points awarded for losing). Then we'd decide on the awarded points for titles. That's about it. Only televised or big event shows. I'm talking WWE TV, WWE PPV, TNA PPV, TNA Impact!, RoH events (no preliminary bouts like Do or Die), and whatever. Seeing as some promotions hold more cards than others, we could either modify the rules to make things more even for the workers who don't wrestle as frequently as WWE wrestlers, or just not do anything and make it clear that it's wise to pick the WWE guys first. I hope I can count on you experienced fantasy booking dudes for help here. Even those who are good at other sports leagues could chip in. So right now this isn't even close to being "organized". But at least I've thrown the idea out there, let's see where we can go from there. Help and ideas wanted. This probably has a better chance of being disastrous than it does successful, but hey- in time, everything floats off to the second page. Well, depending on your settings. I still have no idea on what time span this will take place during, but I'll eventually need someone(..s) who can help me out with this and compile results of shows and point records. Right now, just give me your ideas. Please. EDITED: Oh yeah, no prizes, just gratification knowing you traded Ace Steel for the suddenly-winning HB Cade. Phew, almost forgot that one.

Dude, I'm like, too busy (see: lazy) to update this on a continuous basis. I will throw in the odd show from time to time. But don't let this die yet~! If you guys want to get your kicks in by writing "segments" for different shows (aka. writing what happened backstage after Chavo got injured or how Vince McMahon is suddenly "fond" of Hiroko), that would be super cool. Here's some ideas: -Rene Dupree pisses off the brass by doing the French Tickler. -Heidenreich goes nuts..again. -Undertaker doesn't feel it. -Diva Search contestants bicker. -HBK leads another wrestler to being a born-again Christian. -A rookie forgets to shake hands with Droz; buried for six years.

The website. Sounds fun, but it's not open to residents of Canada and it should be $5.95. I'm sure we could come up with a league just as fun in the Fantasy Booking category. If someone plans on playing and is willing to sponsor a SmartMarks team, that would be cool. Of course, the person who chips in the dough should get the belt. I just know Rudo's brainstorming mock rules already. "Not feeling it- +15 points"
