I am going to put the thread up this afternoon, as I have the starting lists saved at work. Once I have that up, we might as well go ahead and start, I just won't start the 12 hour clock until tomorrow since that was the announced start time.

You get 12 hours to pick. Likely you would make a first pick around Wed.-Thurs.

Two notes: Indy and the Giants are now available if anyone wants to have two teams Also, if anyone else has an opinion on trades, voice them now as that will be decided by the end of today and right now the vote is 1-0 for no trades.
-
Ashburn and Kalas obviously. Also, I liked Mike Emrick/Bill Clement when they were doing the Flyers game. I really like them now that Steve fucking Coates is in the booth.
-
The start will be this coming Saturday at 1pm EST.

Alright, we will start on Saturday afternoon I guess. The only issue left is trades. Do you want them to be available? My thinking is trading picks from this year is fine, trades involving next year's draft I am open to but I think is silly in case you don't do the draft next year it just fucks over that person if you traded away picks from next year, and trading picks for real players defeats the purpose (coming from experience as I did it last year, it was retarded).

Serenity selects John Buck, C, Kansas City
-
I could go for starting it this coming weekend (19th-20th) actually. Looking back through last year's draft, it took 20 days to get through 3 rounds and that was with some people having multiple teams (which were handled by people who were always around making those picks go quick). Plus, I really don't see the need on holding off anymore since we have most of the slots filled. Anyone else have an opinion on when to start up?

Raiders sign Derrick Burgess, 5yrs/17.5mil/6mil bonuses. espn.com That is in-fucking-sane to pay him that much based on, really, one great performance against Michael Vick. He has already missed two full seasons to injury and was not exactly a world beater when he did play. He is a nice DE, with some potential, but he is worth 1 mil, 1.5 max.
-
Eagles sign Mike McMahon to a 2-year deal. I like the signing, as I think McMahon can be a solid backup and it also saves them a first day pick that they were rumored to be using to get a backup.
-
18 isn't missing. It is Minnesota's second pick and I only put their first pick in there. Same thing with 20 as it is Dallas' second pick.

Whenever Sunday is fine here.

1. It isn't just three rounds as there were the 20 picks before the actual draft. 2. The other draft appears to be using the PM function more, something that will not happen here until later rounds as people won't want to give away their strategy. 3. Serpentine drafts go quicker than straight drafts as there are back to back picks and people drafting closer together. 4. The all time draft appears to have benefitted from a stretch where 4 straight people were online. That is just plain good luck. In other words. Calm down, there is still a month and problems can be addressed if we start to get close.

NY Giants Please note how many rounds you are willing to do if you drop in the thread, so teams can be reassigned ahead of time if we know when someone is going to drop out after a couple rounds. Also, I think we have enough confirmed for 4 rounds that we should start the last week of this month. So if any of the above unclaimed teams are still open by next Wed., they'll be put up for any poster wanting two teams so we can get the lineup full.
-
If people are willing to do 4, we will probably need to start the last week of this month as we squeaked through 3 rounds last year starting April 3.
-
Serenity selects: Chase Utley, 2B, Phillies Next three 4 - Lightning Flik 5 - Marvinsalunatic 6 - treble

Just a regular mock draft. You get 12 hours when your pick is up, if you don't go whoever is online picks for you. If I am on when your pick is up, I'll pm you. We'll probably start it around April 1, as I think that is when we started last year.
-
Also, if anyone drops into this thread please just note how many rounds you would be willing to stick around for (1-3) so we can reassign the picks for later rounds if we know who is leaving.
