Then do us a favor: don't ever come on here and bitch about how you don't understand the plot or didn't get certain details of a film, because those "boring" parts of films? Those are usually the times when the filmmakers are advancing the plot or explaining things. It can't always be things exploding or car chases every fucking minute.

Overall I think that it may be technically better done than Devil's Rejects and had a better, more coherent story than TDR, which in a sense makes it a better film. But TDR did have far better characters (almost to a fault, you almost grew to CARE for the Fireflys, which is a negative IMO seeing how beyond reprehensible they all were), and TDR has one of the best ending sequences of any horror film I've seen in many, many YEARS. It's one of the better film endings I've seen in some time.

Now THAT is a fucking death scene. Fuck all you sissy fucks who were crying like women when Lem bought it the other day.
-
This is fucking GREAT.

Holy fuck, pedos. GODDAMN. Matt and Trey know how to bury someone.
-
Goddamn, this show is as twisted as ever.

Using a Chef soundboard is a fucking brilliant idea. I'd say to have them do it from now on, but the joke would wear thin.

Jesus fucking Christ, it wasn't the fucking Challenger exploding on live TV. I'm with Leena on this, that was just screaming for someone to mock it. People should have been clawing and biting one another for the first chance to do so.

We might as well close the thread now, because there is no better way to emphasize and express just how completely wasted he would be in the WWE, not even if you wrote a 10,000 word essay on the subject.

People still watch this show? MTV still makes this show? Isn't it up to like Real World 48 by now?

I can't have been the only one hoping it was due to a miscarriage. What a wasted opportunity.

As much as I loathe the MMA nonsense, I would probably pay good money to see Taker get destroyed by a MMA fighter.

Oh man, you're not selling me on this. Because I liked the original Matrix, but the two sequels? I honestly like to pretend that neither exist. In my own little world, the Matrix was a standalone film. What? It had two sequels you say. lalalalalalalnotlistening.......

I thought about seeing this but the reviews for it that I've read have just been brutal. This could wind up just being a rental for me.

Anyone here ever watch Superboy? Anyone here remember that brief cameo Lex Luger had in it?
-
Moonstruck? Yes! Good, I was afraid no one would notice that.

What the fuck......have you never heard of pacing? I mean, Ripper specifically talked about the film's pacing earlier on in this thread. Look, I've seen an ungodly amount of horror films in my time, and I'm down for a full frenzied gorefest from beginning to end sometimes, but sometimes, you need to BUILD to the horror. Have you ever seen "Psycho"? If you haven't, please DON'T. It's considered one of the greatest horror films of all time, but if you couldn't take the pacing on this modest remake, then you'd really hate that classic. Maybe stoned it would be okay, mellow you out, but I don't think I could have watched this film on something hallucinogenic. Something tells me that a movie about cannibalistic mutants wouldn't do good things for my trip. BTW, this film had some fucked up shit in it, but for me, the worst thing - gotta say the finger amputation. But that's my thing. Injuries to the fingers or the teeth, those actually do legitimately freak me out a bit.

I don't think this guy's a fag (although I suppose being in a boy band there's some obligatory gay jokes to be made), but he is a little bitch. I've seen about three episodes of this TV show, and I was ready to kick everyone's teeth in. Ashley's teeth in, his bitchy girlfriend, his mother, that douche friend of his with the dreads, everyone. I'd kick in his baby's teeth, but it doesn't have them yet. I'M FUCKING HARDCORE.

How can you not get a clear message about the radiation causing the mutation? The opening credit montage was nothing BUT photos of atomic bomb testing, coupled with photographs of human birth defects. Anyone paying the SLIGHTEST bit of attention to the film could have easily connected the two. Did you just sleep through the movie up until the part where people started to die? Anyway, I saw this flick, and I enjoyed it. Not a great horror film, but an entertaining one for what it was. They didn't ease up on the gore or violence, but after a while it got a bit desensitizing. I was surprised that the yuppie jew who turned into the hardass revenge killer was played by Pyro from X-Men 2. And oh yeah, who couldn't love the dog in this? That dog kicked ass. You have to love a dog that enjoys mauling mutants.

I'm one of those Bruce Campbell fans, so fuck you.

Having Los Guerreros on Team Mexico (if it remains that way) is a huge positive for them.

Oh yeah, they do this every year. It's like their version of the Friar's or something. Only lamer.

In my darkest nightmares, it'll come down to Hillary vs. Frist, which is one of those terrible, horrible scenarios that tempts one to shout, "Bring me the big knife, I'm gonna cut my throat!"
-
It's fucking brilliant on McCain's part. He's usually the one acting like a RINO at times, so this was him trying - and probably, to an extent, succeeding - in looking more in tune with the GOP. But this straw poll was a fucking joke, because Frist won (no surprise given the location), and I don't believe he has any realistic chance to win any primary. Ideally, I'd like to see Mark Warner win the Democratic nomination for 2008, although I've heard that may be difficult given that he's too much of a centrist. That's a shame, seeing as he's better than anyone the Democrats realistically have to offer (ESPECIALLY Hillary) and could very well win the general election if he makes it to there. On the Republican side, I'm sort of liking Allen and Romney. I'm loyal to Allen, but I do need to learn more about Romney. Basically, if it comes down to Hillary / McCain in 2008, I'm definitely going with McCain. If it's something like Warner / McCain, I don't know. I might go with Warner....even though he left us with a shitty successor as VA governor. But I guess I won't hold that one against him.

You know, I really dislike Jake Gyllenhall, but those pics are fucking tremendous. It almost makes me like him. But not enough to watch him and his gay cowboy antics.
