  1. Yeah, I have to agree with you. Josh, Demott, and Tazz are the only announcers I like in the WWE, though JR still has his "on" moments.
  2. For some reason I laughed at the end of that Dawn vs. Jackie graphic when Charlie Haas suddenly appears out of nowhere. Why is a guy who "just got his wrestling license" getting a US title shot?
  3. "This isn't a match! This is a MASSACRE!" Ahhh, Michael Cole. You never fail to be a douchebag.
  4. I was hoping London would get to bust out his gorgeous SSP. Good stuff, people don't usually see stiff exchanges like that one in the WWE.
  5. Sick DDT to end it. These guys need to be on top of the cruiserweight division. They're fresher than the other cruiserweights at this point.
  6. Matthews even busted out a "holy shit" for that one.
  7. That was quite the fuckup.
  8. Thanks HTQ! I'm sure Kash was exaggerating...but Hall and Nash weren't REALLY given $50,000 each for Victory Road, were they?
  9. You intensely dislike ROH but watch a lot of their shows? You picked up some good stuff, man.
  10. Bump, since the show starts in a few hours. Should be a good one.

  12. What's the worst thing you ever laughed at? Something that you KNOW you shouldn't be laughing at, but you are anyways...
  13. Yeah, that Jarrett/Brown match, it was like Flair/Steamboat or Austin/Rock or something... My favorite thread on the fan site is titled "Would Jeff Hardy had won at Victory Road if it wasn't for Hall/Nash?" "i think he would have won because Hardy's hand was on the gold when Jarrett/Nash/Hall nailed him with the 3 guitars"
  14. Well it's how they did the whole angle to start the tournament...Sting came back out and wanted a match, Goldberg beat him, Sting beat up Charles Robinson, so they stripped him of the title (since the match wasn't a sanctioned title match) and started the tournament. Don't know much else.
  15. Great to hear that Masters' finishing move is a fucking spinebuster.
  16. Russo and Ferrara had just come in, so that title tournament hadn't been planned for very long. The Goldberg/Sting match was just a way to get that tournament to happen.
  17. Wrath of the Racket for August 2003 has several backstage skits with Cabana and Ace Steel that are very funny. If you want newer stuff, DBD2 Night two has Joe vs. Cabana for the world title, though there's not much comedy, just a good title match. If you want skits and comedy, I know there's a little skit on the World Title Classic show, and it's pretty damn funny when Cabana comes out to "Superfreak" right after Rick James' death at Testing the Limits. Oh, and there's a funny live "Great Times, Good Memories" on The Last Stand, from January 2004. Posting on the ROH board would probably get you some great responses from people who know more than me.
  18. Maven as the Paul Roma of Evolution made me laugh. Tough Enough stuff is kind of ridiculous, but when it's for a million dollars I guess that's what happens.
  19. Where on the WWE website is this number posted?
  20. Don't final numbers usually go up, a little, too? But 330,000 is way more than a lot of people expected, I think.
  21. Why didn't you like the Foley one, Kido? I haven't seen any, though I'm interested in the Tom Prichard one. I've heard nothing but good reviews about the Fantastics shoot.
  22. I hope you like the Prichard shoot. I'm interested to hear what he says. GBH3 and DBD2 Pt 1 are both good shows...not GREAT shows but good shows. So if you like those shows, there are better ROH shows out there. I STRONGLY advise getting 7/24, Death Before Dishonor 2 Pt. 2 as it's a great show with lots of great matches. Generation Next, World Title Classic (which has Joe vs. Punk #1, and the first ever Ultiamate Endurance match), and Survival of the Fittest from May and June are great shows too. But yeah...enjoy.
