You don't win titles without talent around you. Now if you want to discuss how these players perform in pressure games, that's a different discussion. At the same time, it's tougher to perform in pressure games when you have no talent around you. Titles aren't one with one person. Especially in a football where there are so many positions that help determine who wins. Trent Difler would not have won a title with Marino's team, but Marion would have won a title with the Ravens.

Nick Swisher is pretty good in the corners. Abreu was below average defensively. He has a strong arm though.

Yeah, he's too stoic for immigrant song. There's too much energy in that song for serious. I'd rather give it to someone like Jeff Hardy who will dance.

He doesn't have Brody's spunk. When's the last time we've seen Knox dance after he wins a match? Never that's when.

They've replaced what they had with someone better. While Mussina had a great year, Sabathia gets them deeper into games. AJ Burnett will do much better than Pettitte. Pettitte had a terrible second half. Teixeira is an upgrade over Giambi both offensively and defensively. Swisher is an upgrade over Abreu defensively and can approximate what he did offensively in the 5th, 6th, or 7th hole. I'd say they improved some.

Why would you turn someone who is as over as Cena? This reminds me of Rikishi, to a lesser extent. The dude was over as hell, as a face, and they decided to turn him heel, and look at him now. He isn't even in the company anymore. Of course Cena is strong enough to withstand a poor heel turn, but there's nothing good that could come out of a heel turn. You know that he's going to get cheered like hell as a heel anyway, which will turn him face again.

When Cena starts getting shitty reactions, he'll turn heel. And by shitty I mean mild reactions instead of the nuclear mix of cheers and boos he gets.

Sure, you only had 3 keepers so you can add up to another 3. Cool. I'll add Troy Tulowitzki, David Ortiz, and Placido Polanco.
