Matt banged Ashley, Taker banged Sara Eh, that's lose lose.

Maybe, if he wants to or whatever the hell's going on Cor Von will come back to tackle Big Daddy V. Striker's already an awesome mouthpiece for V, he doesn't need to move to Raw.
-
I'm shocked that was as good as it was. Everyone busted ass here, even Thorn. Better than anything on the PPV Sunday.
-
I guess 4 way, then guy who gets pinned is gone, then 3 way and guy who gets pinned is gone, then 1 on 1, and then winner meets Punk. This is a really good match too.
-
He still wants revenge for Randy kicking his daddy's head in.

Down made another album? Oh dear. I thought it was damn good. Nowhere near NOLA levels, but better than Down II (Which I also enjoy).
-
Taker/Henry going on last pretty much says that Cena's going to get DQ'ed in the Orton match.

If you hate the promotion so much why do you continue to watch it? It has Samoa Joe, Senshi, Alex Shelley, and Homicide. Plus, I find trainwrecks funny. What a moron. This is the sentiment on 'net wrestling boards that drives me crazy, these d-bags that talk about how much they HATE TNA, claim it's worse than WCW in '99/2000 which in itself is an idiotic claim. Yet they watch it. I hate WWE programming, I hate MTV, I hate Grey's Anatomy and guess what??? I DON'T FUCKING WATCH THEM. And don't take this as coming from some Impact Zone "TNA ROOLZ" jackass. I can tell you dozens of things wrong with TNA off the top of my head, and I generally agree with posters like HTQ who are equally frustrated by TNA's booking, but don't act like total jagoffs about it. If you "100% hate TNA," you wouldn't watch for Samoa Joe, Shelley, etc. because that wouldn't be 100%, now would it? Okay, I guess 100% hate was a strong word. I was kind of drunk when I posted that last night. I want TNA to succeed, I really just get so frusterated with the product that the word hate gets thrown around. I'm sorry I triggered an outburst from you. I really want TNA to be a success and that's another reason I watch. I'm just curious to see if they can ever pull it all together. And another reason I watch is to see guys like Joe and Low-Ki and the like who I have been watching in the indies for years on television.

I've never been a fan of Curtis the rapper, and I think his music sucks. Kanye's a great rapper, but a very irritating person. That said, his new album is awesome and probably one of the better hip hop albums I've heard this year. And Mos Def owned in The Woodsman

No one seems to care about teh metal around here, but the new High On Fire and Down albums are really great.

So, I guess 1408 would be the big sleeper hit of the summer since it wasn't mentioned here and made more money than a few of the films that were mentioned here.

I just watched Black Sheep. It's not the Chris Farley movie, but a 2007 movie about mutated sheep that end up killing all the locals in Australia. It's comic gold since when the sheep bite the townspeople, they end up turning into half man/half sheep mutations. Plus, their are enough sheep fucking jokes to go around for the whole family. This is a really goofy, yet fun as shit movie. Everyone should watch it stoned or drunk to complete the experience when it hits video soon. Dragon Wars looks like it will be a fun movie to watch fucked up on something and make fun of with friends.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch
Brocklock replied to theintensifier's topic in General Wrestling
The stiffness in the indies is starting to get kind of sickening. I mean I feel guilty for even watching a Low-Ki match or a Necro Butcer or Jack Evans match in the wake of the Benoit stuff. Sure, I still enjoy them, but I do feel guilty. Plus, their's the douches like Davey Richards, BJ Whitmer, and Rocky Romero in ROH who wrestle the LOOK AT ME, I'M STIFF AS FUCK style that really pisses me off. Trying to emulate Low-Ki or KENTA won't end up good for these wrestlers safety. These tools should switch to a new style or something. That's why I enjoy CHIKARA since they seem to use a more lucha based style. I've been loving Lucha especially some of what AAA has been doing this year as well. -
So, was their actually no negotiations with a former world champion or are they just saving the announcement for Bound For Glory/The two hour Impact debut?
-
I hate TNA 100% and have no clue why they are bringing back the reverse battle royal. It can be fun for comedy, and the West/Tenay announce team are hilarious for how completely awful they are. Tenay has the funniest facial expressions in wrestling, and usually says some of the dumbest things. I think his drop down in quality is even worst than Schiavonie in WCW when he stopped caring around 1996. I'll cut West some slack since he was never really good, but can be entertaining in that Vince McMahon/David Crockett kind of way. Where, he actually sounds like he is excited for the product and wants to be their unlike Tenay. But, Daniels/Lethal was decent at least, and damn is Karen Angle hot as hell. Plus, Judas Mesias could end up being badass. I just can't stand Abyss. His character and in ring skills are terrible. No Surrender was actually a really good PPV. I hope they can finally start to get out of their slump they've been in since around July 2006. I want them to succeed, but the past year or so, they've been just as bad if not worse than WCW in 99/00 IMO. I think the only match I've truly enjoyed in TNA 07 is Harris/Storm from Sacrifice.

This could be a decent show. Cena/Orton should be a guaranteed awesome match. I can't wait till their eventual gimmick match though. Punk/Burke always have at least decent matches. I may be one of the few who have enjoyed the Taker/Henry matches of the past, so I shouldn't see much of a difference. Rey/Batista/Khali could be made fun by Rey. I hope Rey wins since Batista's character is such a douche. In a perfect world, Rey will win and Batista will finally turn heel since Batista is such a dick (character wise and in real life) and could be a natural heel. Hunter/Carlito is a match I don't really care about. I hate Carlito and nothing about him is interesting to me. Cade & Murdoch vs Londrick could be awesome if it's given some time and has a decent crowd. The rest of the matches are kind of there. I hope Hardy and MVP keep the belts since Deuce and Domino are probably the most uninteresting team to come around in a long time. Plus, Domino is probably the worst wrestler in the WWE. Except for maybe Snitsky, they are neck and neck.
-
I think Cena's improved so much during his reign I honestly wouldn't mind if he kept the belt for a while longer. But, if anyone takes it from him, I'd like it to be Orton. He's been on a role since May. He completely turned his promos into something good, and I've really liked his matches. He's reminding me of Jake Roberts.

So what do you think about The Undertaker?
Brocklock replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
I agree that Taker's aged greatly. I thought his character was great around the early years, but the matches were terrible. Around 96/97 he busted his ass, and showed that he could be a great big man when necessary. From 98-02, his promos were good, but his matches were lacking. In particular I remember a great yet weird promo around 99 about Big Show being left in a desert somewhere. Out of nowhere, he also had a great 2003. He's been ruling 2006/2007 as well, so I hope he continues being really good. He shockingly carried Khali to a couple of decent matches by bumping like a madman, and had some of the best matches of Batista and Kennedy's career's so far. -
I really enjoyed Kane/Finlay. That was a great brawl. I didn't watch anything else though.
-
I found Hostel way more enjoyable with a black crowd, it was priceless. Now, one thing that did bother me recently was that people were actually loudly humming along to the Halloween theme song for Rob Zombie's Halloween. And they sang along to Love Hurts in the same movie.
-
These probably aren't as bad as the above, but they still made for terrible television in 2003: The Steiner/Nowinski debate The Eddie/Big Show feud was awful with really stupid poop humor replacing what could've been a good feud. Kane lighting JR on fire Lance Storm is boring gimmick/Dancing Lance Storm/Lance Storm has a big dick gimmick Stuttering Goldust (Although, It wasn't as bad as it could've been) JR and King being in way too many matches. I think they wrestled more on Raw in September 2003 than some of the roster. Most of the Vince stuff was really bad in 03. I find some of it stupidly entertaining and funny now, but it was boring as hell back then. Their were a few highpoints though (Smackdown was pretty good this year save for the last three months. Brock was awesome in 2003, Taker was pretty motivated throughout the year, etc...)

WWE 24/7 Discussion Thread - September 2007
Brocklock replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in WWE Multimedia
They put some strange but awesome choices on the shorties this week. Liger/Ultimo from a 1993 WCW/New Japan hybrid show A Billy Robinson match A Lou Thesz vs Antonio Rocca from the late 50's. A Dynamite Kid match from Stampede Everyone should also check out the hour long Bret Hart special from around 93 on Legends. It's got a Bret Hart vs Beau Beverly match with some insanely funny commentary which Heenan and Macho Man constantly going on weird tangents about specialty matches and Ross trying to be the straight man. The Copps Colisseum show from 89 sounds really good with Bret/Martel, Warrior/Rude, and Tito/Perfect. -
Mos Def was amazing in The Woodsman, so that shouldn't be forgotten. This looks great, can wait to see their versions of Boyz N The Hood and Driving Miss Daisy.

At least BTM and Storytellers are MUSIC related. I don't mine an hour or two of music followed by some programming such as that and then more music. They also play lots of movies and the various VH1 top 100 countdowns and the I Love The 70's/80's/90's. I miss when they had The Alternative on for like 3 hours every Sunday and when they would put on old episodes of YO! MTV Raps.
