I don't think so. I think we should have this pinned just so you can never forget it. And DK, it involved me when I was six and baked beans. Put two and two together.

Not to mention the impact they've had on modern musicians (STP, Manson, Creed, etc.) and the fact that Morrison personified the Rock God image.

If he did, it was me. And NOBODY calls me fuckbeans. Except my uncle, but there's a reason, and that's a story I'm not telling.

I'm no Tenay, but I know the guy is still wrestling. I think he took a year or something off, but I know for a fact he wrestled on an indy show about two months ago for the first time in a while that I can remember. I saw him about a year or so ago at a show here in Tennessee. I called him Air Paris, Kentucky and he didn't get it. But it was okay, because my buddy did, and he laughed hysterically.

Gorgorath EDIT: I may have misspelled that, and Redbaron 51 is my new best friend for using Zao -
From what I've read about Greg, he is quiet and keeps to himself but I don't think he means to put anyone down with his demeanor. I met him in January and he seemed distant (he also seemed somewhat intoxicated) but others who bumped into him that weekend said he was a great guy. Same goes for Arn Anderson, who just happened to be royally pissed off about something before I shook his hand. I just happened to meet him at the wrong time that day. I met him in march, and he was genuinely nice. He was wrestling at a benefit show my buddy was part of, and he made a point to shake my hand in spite of the fact that his music was playing and they were about to call his name. After the show he sat for autographs and was nice to anyone and everyone who came by. I think it is in his nature to be quiet, as he didn't speak loudly at all. He also comes across a bit weird as his eyes look constantly squinty. Otherwise, he's one of the nicest wrestlers I've met. (Way nicer than Zbysko.)

Are you ignoring Stardust for any reason in particular?

I think part of it is that DC doesn't want to put out high quality paper as a giveaway. It would cost more, and they want to save money, being part of a major corporation and all. Their comics are usually on paper that's equal to Marvel, though.

Go for Amazing Spiderman, as it's the best going right now, IMHO. It's had a consistent creative team for quite a while and is going in a steady direction. Spectacular Spiderman and Ultimate Spiderman bite the big one in my book, because they're not based on the original story, but a version of the movie's story. I prefer the original one, though, and others may not.

Let's not forget the Sir Voice thread. Until he does something that low, you're still the stupidest. I don't care WHAT he says.

... > GameFaqs wrestling fans. I've eaten hot dogs smarter than some of those people. Try reading the TNA sponsored forums (tnawrestling.fanserv.com). Those people are dumber than flaming bags of shit.

I'll second that, now if only Dames were around.....

That's a very good point. I never even thought about that. I was curious earlier today how TNA could handle the Authority figure in a way which would distinguish them from WWE, and this could do it. Think about it, this prevents Authority figure vs. wrestler feuds like the Russo vs. Jarrett thing, and it means that wrestlers won't be able to go to just one guy to get what they want. Very interesting.

Count me as well. I too am a Mordecai mark. I liked his video promos and that other promo he cut back a few weeks ago in Canada where he 'damned' the crowd to hell was great. Sure his in-ring skills weren't the best but he was entertaining at some points. I'll miss him and I'll be pissed if WWE fires him. I third this notion. And they should just get rid of OVW and get another Farm league thing. I'm with you guys. The gimmick may be "out there" at times, but at least there's a way to start a feud other than "I don't like you!" I wish they'd just give the dude a chance, dude.

I think the whole idea behind the "paying your dues" is one that I can understand. It's basically a concept which shows that the reason you're in wrestling is because you love wrestling, not because you want to be famous. There are plenty of guys getting into wrestling because of the desire to be rich and have people recognize them. A lot of them don't make it, and for obvious reasons. This seems to be the reason Brock got into it (At least that's what it seems like in the ESPN article), and the concept of paying your dues prevents that from becoming a common occurence. I'm not saying we go back to the days where trainers would shoot on their students to prove a point, but a lot of people don't take it seriously anymore.

A lot of Kid Kash for him to be getting released........ I KNOW! IT'S A WORK!!!

Ewww, Jackie Gayda is from Columbus..... man this city sucks at times. At least Cincy had Brian Pillman.

LFV had the brains to ask who Jim Morrison was, blaming his youth for his ignorance. I think he asked in HD or in Site Feedback, and everyone (me included) gave him shit for it. Side Note: This thread just won't die, will it?

I myself like the committee/board of directors idea. It sucks for Russo, though.

What's religion are you (or should you be)?

Here's something to chew on. Joseph Smith said in the Book of Mormon that God appeared as a beam of light somewhere in upstate New York and told them that via the tenets of what would become Mormonism, man could ascend to God status. Meanwhile, the Bible warns us to beware of false prophets, and also of Satan, who disguised as the Angel Of Light, tempts man by telling him he can become a god. Do you have to do this anytime someone says anything about Mormonism? -
Every DVD I've bought since the wife got me this has let me down. I bought the Foley DVD, and it sucks compared to this. This is the most well rounded wrestling DVD I've ever seen. It gives you all the segments that help build the storyline, so the matches mean just as much as they originally did. It's Phenomenal
