I hope you're kidding, otherwise you're a sad, sad person. I don't remember Kane being cocky, Taker being cocky, or heel Austin being cocky.... hmm.....

That happens almost every week. It used to be SpongeBob, but now it's Fairly Odd Parents. Behold, the Power of Cartoons!

Sue me for unintelligence, but what was the ROH fiasco? Did he just blow every single spot or was he pulling a Teddy Hart?

Here's an example: pwinsider.com/Dave Scherer

Alright, this is to keep all the little posts from clogging up the board. Let's try to keep all the little news tidbits in here. The big blockbuster shit we can throw in another thread, but keep the little stuff here. Let's try this. (Now watch today be a REALLY slow news day.)

That's a brilliant idea
-
Probably, I'd almost say definitely. Unless by some miracle they put London in there. But that would be logical, and not WWE
-
We really do need a daily WWE news thread. I keep seeing these posts and think there might be something important in them.

Insert Rob Feinstein joke here. Did you HAVE to go there?

He's never going to stop wrestling. If he ends up in a wheelchair (god forbid), he'll probably come back every 2 months and still wrestle in PPVs. As long as he doesn't do the HBK "rise from the wheelchair" spot, I could be ok with that. But if he does it, it's got to be like Smackdown: HCTP, HBK dance and all

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it. I'd get it if I had the cash, but I don't. Thought someone here might like it.

First of all, SPOILER TAGS. Now, any surprise appearance is to make people who didn't watch wish they had. This is so they tune in repeatedly instead of just to see advertised matches and angles. If Taker only shows up once a month and they don't advertise it, it's because they want people to watch every week instead of only when they say he's going to be on. Bubba has almost reached main event after the "brand extension." As much as I didn't want to like it, his semi-feud with HHH nearly got him over. (I wait for everyone to bash me for this. BASH AWAY!) The Velocity moves are probably because it's on a new time slot and they want people to watch. Hell, I'd love to see people other than A-Train, Paul London, and Stevie Richards on Velocity and Heat. I'd love to see storylines that intertwine with the bigger shows. I think he's main event, but that's just me. I don't think he's being used as a building block, they just don't have many heels on Smackdown

Since we've already talked worst finsihers, how about the worst trademark or setup moves. I'm going with Spinaroonie.

Bobby Rude in X Cup? Not sure if he'll truly fit the style, but I'm glad I get to watch him somewhere as his WWE matches were great.

As we approach the debut of WWE 24/7 Video on Demand service and more and more classic footage being utilized for World Wrestling Entertainment DVDs, expect to see the WWE monitoring those who sell what WWE views as bootlegged versions of material they own the rights to. They will be looking for anything that falls into one of their various libraries purchased over the years including WCW, ECW, the AWA, and Mid-Atlantic and Georgia Championship Wrestling to make sure nobody else is selling videos containing that footage. The WWE will be employing 3 people who are responsible for seeking out websites and online auctions including Ebay that sell material owned by WWE. credit PWInsider.com

How have we gone this long without mentioning Ultimo Dragon and his 10 (I can't remember if it was ten or more) titles at once? Sheesh.
-
I watched a Wrestlemania the other day and remembered one of my favorite things: A manager giving strategy to his worker.(Yes, it was Heenan) Will we ever see that again.
-
I was watching him Headline WWF PPV's in the early 90's, and then the WCW PPV's he headlined in the early-mid nineties. To say that he's bitter and to say no one has wanted to see him headline since the 80's is a horrible assumption
-
They edited the Dudleys music, too. Kind of stupid to license it for the show but not the DVD. Anyway, I think that the crowd response to the Goldberg/Brock match is fairly accurate. I didn't hear as much "BORING" as I remember, but otherwise it seems fairly close. I hear the Hogan chant, I heard "We want Bret" and everything else.

I don't mind Superkicks as long as only one person is doing it. But, up until a week or so ago there were several in WWE: Lance Storm Steven Richards(on occasion) Shelton Benjamin HBK and possibly more. Finisher's are only really good when one person does them. It gives the illusion that they are the only one capable of performing them, which is why stealing finisher's is supposed to be such a big deal. This is why Chokeslams, Big Boots, Powerbombs, and Superkicks aren't that good anymore.

Is Nova still in OVW? Could it be him?
-
....and then they bukkake Miss Jackie. I DID IT!!! I FINALLY GOT TO SAY THAT IN A POST!!! ...and now the joke is dead. D'OH Anyhow, back to the point of this post. I would love to see him against AA, Harley Race, Tito Santana, maybe Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. It would get cheap fan favorite pop, and marks would be angry that he beat their favorite childhood wrestlers. EDIT: He could even wrestle Pat Patterson. The crowd would go BANANA!!!
-
If only WWE were smart enough to pull this off. The only problem I do see is that WWE would focus all their angles on this instead of around it.
-
I second that. I've always been a Batista mark, since I saw one of his Leviathan matches in OVW. I was pumped when he was Deacon Batista, and I was afraid he was going to waste in Evolution, but it looks as if he's coming out of it. He's menacing in the group promos, as I noticed while watching WMXX, and he's improving in almost every area. I actually think he's surpassing Orton as the "Young Stud" in Evolution as him being on camera gets my attention way better than Orton. Orton's heat (or lack thereof) comes from his mouth, Batista's comes naturally.

The DDT's they do now aren't always done the way Jake did them originally. I think I read in a shoot interview review that Jake accidentally came up with the move by slipping while he had someone in a front face lock. That's what I mean. i'm not talking about "literally" doing a DDT, I'm talking about how it was originally done. In that interview Jake said that no one now, not even Raven, does the DDT correctly EDIT: Jake the Snake Shoot
