Yeah, Mike Wallstreet was a great way to tweak IRS' gimmick. And Remember Billionare Ted Dibiase? And how about ALL of John Tenta's crappy gimmicks that were knockoff's of Earthquake. I don't mean to bash your idea (which is fairly good), but gimmick tweaks weren't exactly WCW's strong point. Which is funny, because that seems to be WWE's problem now. It's like they inherited a bad wrestling disease from WCW.

Is the DDT banned? I've heard several people say so, but I'm never sure as some people use it as finishers. I've heard Jake Roberts say that anyone who does it right will hurt someone, but can you really believe him?

It's something about the way he was acting that night, but I've seen more sarcastic heel HBK than the serious face HBK lately.

Because all gimmicks used in OVW must be forgotten and replaced with something simple for the Creative to work with. Ahh.... that's right. I wonder when the creative team will actually be..Creative? It seems all they do is bring guys up from OVW who had decent characters, and then put them on a show going by their real names. I would've loved to see a stable with Leviathan(Batista), Seven(Mordecai) and Bane(Tomko) working for the Undertaker or Paul Bearer or something like that. They could do his dirty work so he wouldn't have to show up on every Smackdown. Instead we get Botchtista playing dress up, Tomko the hired head, and Mordecai, who actually gets a decent character.... I hope. To quote my best friend "Vince is allergic to genius."

I think they'll run the PPV's until they get a LONG TV deal. The FSN thing could just be a test run, and why give up the PPV's just to lose all your TV time after a few weeks?

Weren't Seven and Bane a tag team in OVW? Why not bring them up as a tag team and help the tag division instead of bringing in new stars to steal TV time from Stevie Richards and others?

If they tone down the bullshit they call drama, then it's a genius idea to aim wrestling at kids. Imagine how many fans that watched Hogan, Warrior, Savage, etc. when they were kids. They are now old enough to have their own kids, and aiming programming at them is only intelligent. That is, again, if they tone down the bullshit.

Early on, I would agree. But after around 95-97, you'll need to switch that around.

I'm a huge mark for Styles. He knows what he's talking about (beats Schiavone after 95), stays fairly unbiased (beats JR), and gets into the matches just enough without getting involved. (I'd take a shot at Tenay, but I'm in a good mood.)

I used to love Schiavone when I was a kid, before Hogan came to WCW. When Sting and Flair were two of their biggest names. He was horrible later on, though. I can't really blame him, though.
