I've read that he would try to get whatever promotion onto TBS. I just question the intelligence behind starting a promotion on a national level. WCW wasn't on a national level when he started putting it on TBS, and he made it one that way. But he had the NWA helping him out. Is it possible for Turner to start one from scratch?

There's going to be an ROH show in Dayton, OH on June 12th (I think) and I was considering going to it. I may get my Dad to come along, but he's very conservative and wasn't too happy last time we went to an event together (Nitro in the late 90's) because there were tons of drunk rednecks being obnoxious and cussing. (Yes, my Dad is offended by cussing. He's also offended by Nudity, smoking and anything that is abhorred by conservative Christians. Because he is one.) Would I have any problems with this at an ROH show? Also, are there any sign carrying fans at ROH shows? I don't want to shell out $35 bucks for front row because I'm probably going to RAW that Monday night, and I'm shelling out good money for front row seats so I can actually see.

I completely agree. I let my 9 & 10 year old cousins watch random matches, and they make me wish I didn't know everything I do sometimes. I would love to be just a simple mark one more time. It would make me a lot happier. As for Flair, I seem to recall him using the terms "Heel" and "Face" on the DVD when talking about Steamboat. I think he needs to slap himself in the face for that. As for people using the terms, I think it would be stupid to run up to any wrestler and start throwing out kayfabe terms. My best friend is a wrestler, and we don't even talk in kayfabe other than face and heel. Let them at least feel like they have something "special."

I coulda sworn I've seen a match where someone actually did something along those lines of from one side of ring to other. Damn I forgot. dude, that's really fucking far....how the hell did he do that? Isn't a WWF ring 18 feet across!? Just so you know, a WWE ring is 20x20

Does anyone else remember the Steiner "phantom low blow" on RVD on RAW a few months ago? Steiner makes up for it, but it's still horrible.

Since when has knowing what someone ones make you a smark? There are plenty of smarks who could've missed Turner retiring from TW/AOL. Many of whom probably started watching wrestling AFTER WCW. Anyhow, knowning Turner, if he wants something he'll get it. I'm pretty sure that if he though he needed a network to show it on, he'd either buy it or start a new one. He did start CNN, Headline News, TBS, TCM, and Turner South by himself. EDIT: I forgot Cartoon Network

I thought I read somewhere that A.J. Styles said he'd never work for WWE because the T&A their fond of is against his Christian beliefs? (He did complain to TNA brass after their topless incident.) Anyhow, I would bring in Steve Corino. (Where's he been?) And Scotty Riggs. (Even though he nearly spit on me at an indy show)

I miss old school promos. The "pre-recorded comments" kind. The "live" ones aren't as nice, backstage or in-ring. I hate the standard RAW set up ones, where wrestler A walks in, talks, is interrupted by wrestler B, threats, Authority Figure interrupts, Match booked for later at night.

Are you ignoring the name change or do you just not know? Anyhow, Does anyone think else there's a chance he'd just invest in an established group like TNA?

I would also like to see HBK as a heel. I agree that Edge is a better worker as a face, plus HBK has been face for far too long now.
