The One and Only SmackDown Sucks / SolutionsThread
TheBigSwigg replied to reign's topic in The WWE Folder
If you're going old school, at least do it right. Put Cornette in charge if you're gonna go old school. It's sometimes retarded, but at least it's understandable and watchable -
Somewhere, last night, Ric Flair's head exploded.

Screw voting, let's decide elections this way.

CM Punk speaks about his future in NWA-TNA
TheBigSwigg replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
I'm glad he's cleared some of this up, as I was wondering exactly how long he was going to be gone. Kind of odd, though, how he's working ROH and they're contacting him. I thought that was a big no-no -
I'm definitely glad they may focus on the X division more. The six sided ring wouldn't make sense otherwise. Now if they get psychology in with their spots, it would be perfect.

SEC passes "Fulmer Rule" for turning in cheaters
TheBigSwigg replied to Agent_Bond34's topic in Sports
I would be happy that you were backing Tennessee, but you have dancing dogs as your avatar. I am now ashamed. -
Damn you for making sense

Shit, I'm liberal and some people consider me fairly annoying. You don't see me gone yet, do you?

SEC passes "Fulmer Rule" for turning in cheaters
TheBigSwigg replied to Agent_Bond34's topic in Sports
Watch it, Mike. I'll start singing Rocky Top if you're not careful. Anyhow, It's gonna do jack squat, really. One team will point fingers at another, or all the teams are gonna point at one. There will still be cheating until the NCAA crashes the SEC. It's a southern thing to have "local rules." I hate to admit it, but it's true. -
I'm not going to add much to this discussion, I'll be honest. I don't like Jarrett as champ. I don't think I've ever liked Jarrett. Since he was Double J-e-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T in the early nineties. I even quit watching WCW because he showed up. I'm not the only one, as everyone in my family that watches wrestling (Tennessee Hillbillies, mind you) hates Jeff Jarrett. My point is, they should've let Killings keep the Title or give it to Raven so he can finally say he's fulfilled his destiny. What a great way to start out Impact!, have Raven go on about how he's fulfilled his destiny at last, blah blah, and have someone take offense to it (Without anyone being hit by a guitar. Seriously.). That would be a great way to start off the new show. Now it's just Jarrett running his company with himself in the top spot. I now wait for Shane McMahon to beat Eddy Guerrero.

I agree. He's a short term character who's being used like a long term draw. Just because the people like him doesn't mean he should be in the ME. I'd have him in the match at the end of the first hour, but not the end of the show. Also, having Benoit save him in the tag match last week was good, but he should have come out and saved him long before Kane started to squash Eugene. As for the ratings, I do agree that the lack of focus seemed to play a large part. Also, drawing the feuds out and leaving people hanging is important as well. Last week they really didn't give us much reason to tune in to the next show. HHH/HBK will fight in a hell in a cell and Benoit helped Eugene. What makes me want to watch again? I didn't feel like I would miss much. They need to work on this or they will lower themselves to WCW/TNA's level.

Their videos are hopeless. I think they would be better off to NOT show videos right now rather than show them. They look like some high school announcements I've seen.

Playmakers, Freaks and Geeks, and... INVADER ZIM!!!!!

Credit ROHWrestling.com Do they do this for every single title match? If not, I foresee a new champion

anyone but HHH or HBK. Preferably Jericho or a Heel Edge on RAW, and Booker T or RVD on Smackdown. Not necessarily because they're main event, but because I'd rather see them than Bradshaw or Jindrak

I honestly consider it one of the absolute best stories I've read in comics and in literature. It's the closest thing to modern mythology that we have. I haven't finished the Watchmen yet, so I can't compare the two, but I wish there were more comics like the Sandman. Now that I've got all my markish BS out of my system, it's just plain brilliant. I do wish for more comics like the Sandman, but I don't wish for all comics to be that way. I'm actually very interested in the Silver Surfer right now because it's leaning in that direction. I recommend it to everyone, because it's got elements that everyone can like. Except my parents, because they saw a pentagram in the first few pages and called it Satanic.

That doesn't make them seem conservative at all.

That's a very impressive tape list. -
I think they need to quit ripping off songs and using their own. They also need a better sound mix, because you can barely hear their themes over the commentary. Though this isn't bad sometimes, other times it is. Part of WWE's success comes from their good production, and TNA should learn from that.

Since when was WCW brought into this discussion. I think you're trying to throw us off topic!

Wait a minute, I don't even believe in JEEBUS!?! Seriously, though. The stigmata thing is more than likely going to happen. Because they stole the gimmick. That's right, I'm saying it again, and I'll say it in every single thread about Mordechai. They stole the gimmick.

I'm pretty sure Panda has their limits, and would see shelling out cash for music as a bit of overkill. I'm not sure they should go for mainstream acts either. I would just be happy if they had a better soundguy and music that wasn't obvious ripoffs of mainstream songs.

Especially with a Pro-Bowl tailback like Henry in the backfield. The guy played through broken ribs and you could hardly tell whenever he was given the ball. I hope they do better this year, though I hate McGahee.
