High ticket prices = less likely to be bought by touts and more chance for hardcore fans to buy them. I'm seeing Radiohead at a festival in Paris this year. Radiohead, Morrisey, DJ Shadow, Broken Social Scene and a bunch of others. And the tickets are less than $100. Which is chicken feed when other festivals cost the equivalent of $300.
