Youth N Asia replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in Poster Tournament
I beat BPS and I wasn't even here to enjoy it BPS is good people though -

If you could rub one Mcmahon completly off tv...FOREVER, which one would it be?
-
I'm not a fan of R&B or hip hop. But I'm starting to like Outkast the more I hear them. And I like "The Seed 2.0" by The Roots and Cody Chestnut. What kinds of music do you not like...but like a random artist or song?

I am dead ass tired of non wresters taking up tv time for wrestling angles. But if that's not bad enough we get Coach vs JR at the ppv? When Coach walked to the ring Monday you could have heard a pin drop. He got no response from the crowd at all...oh, and he's not a wrestler. But Shane gets to kick Kane's ass every other week, so it's not a stretch for Coach to go over the boys too...except that what I just said was fucking retarded. I thought with these split ppvs that some guys would get ppv time who usually wouldn't...but it's just the same stupid shit.

Neh...it's the trendy thing to do now

And happy 29th birthday to Clare Kramer *Homer voice * "MMMMMMMMMMM....Glory"

Well, when it's all said and done. No album is worth this wait...and I like GNR
-
unless he's managing Mikey Whipwreck I could give a crap about Mitchell

The NWO was too much after the first year when it seemed like new members joined every week. But it was pretty exciting in the beginning.
-
Anyone else have the urge to murder Jim Ross when he finds 10 different ways every show to go on about how he likes Oklahoma football? JR's gotten his ass kicked hella times already, I think the fans pretty much stopped caring about his well being a while back.

Nothing is wrong with the album, YnA, however everything is wrong with Axl Rose. Axl is the world's worst perfectionist and is NEVER satisfied with how his work turns out. He has stated in several interviews that UYI was released too early by his standards and could of been so much more, despite being two brilliant albums. So should we expect the follow up in 2012?

Don't like that kind of music...but like an artist

Jason and the Scortchers? -
This fuckin' idiots... I think most people use 9-1-1 now for any kind of emergency large or small...calling the cops has been replaced with calling 9-1-1
-
6 minutes that could be used for Dreamer vs Richards
-
They'll make some edits, bound to happen.

When it takes a decade to release an album...my hopes are not high. What's so wrong with the album that he needs to make constant changes.

Holy crap, I just got done watching an episode with the new guys...and it sucked hard ass! I knew they couldn't live up to Adam and Jimmy, but that was just bad comedy. Doug seems like he should be funny, but just doesn't seem to fit on the show for me. And Joe Rogan looks way out of place doing comedy. I hate him on Fear Factor, like him on UFC (he knows his shit), but he's just not very good. I know it's too early to judge. But Joe Rogan does not belong on this show. I just don't see it getting much better. I miss the old days already.

"Angel" repeats begin airing on TNT on Monday Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 30 you can catch repeats twice a day, Monday through Friday at 5 and 11 p.m. ET. Speaking of that. Season 2 comes out on DVD today

Maybe it'll be on the 2009 "Chinese Democracy" release. GNR's a joke and I don't know why people are so up for Axl and the GNR cover band these days.

Short lived TV shows no one seems to remember
Youth N Asia replied to King Kamala's topic in Television & Film
The Edge, ran from 92-93 (guessing late 92 to early 93) I checked jumptheshark to see what people said about it...I watched it often but don't remember all of this Does anyone else remember this show? it was a snl like show on fox featuring jennifer aniston, julie brown, wayne knight among others. this show was hilarious. i'm glad jennifer became famous on friends because i remember telling everyone about this hot chick on a show no one had ever seen. this show, flying blind and the ben stiller show were 3 of the funniest shows ever, and, fox cancelled all 3 before they had a chance. I do remember two sketches on this show in which a gigantic Delta Burke eats the cast of Designing Women and in the second sketch, eats the cast of Beverly Hills 90210. Those were juvenile but the sketch in which Julie Brown demonstrates how to steal a car and says that Tim Allen gave her theft related pointers was funny. Sure Jennifer was HOT, but what I remember most were the animation breaks. They were disgusting and hilarious at the same time!!! This was a show I enjoyed tremendously, though somewhat guiltily as some of the ketches were rather cruel (e.g. Julie Brown as Carny Wilson in the "Lucky Day" video spoof). So much attention has been given to Jennifer Aniston since, and Wayne Knight has had his limelight as "Newman" in Seinfeld. But where is Julie Brown now? She is hilarious and I was sorry to see her show so short-lived. Whoa, I didn't think anyone but my mom and I ever saw this show. We still yell "I KEEL YOU!!" when we're being silly, because there was this spoof of supermodels (one was named "M" cuz she thought Elle MacPherson was "L") and one of them got mad and yelled that. When Friends started, I remember yelling, "Hey! That's the girl from The Edge and Leprechaun!" about Jennifer Aniston. This show was GREAT! The animations were really freaky sometimes, but I loved the parodies and stuff. Somebody mentioned the Ben Stiller Show and this being cancelled too soon, and I TOTALLY agree. -

Speaking of that... Did anyone watch the Uptown Comedy Club, it was like an all black SNL (with 2 or 3 exceptions) and it was done on a real small stage with the crowd on every side. It was pretty funny. And Jim Brewer and Tracy Morgan were on it. It was in 91 or 92...didn't last long. the best part was to close the show they'd have people telling "yo momma" jokes back and forth till they told a bad one and got eliminated...granted, this is when that was still a cool thing to do. -

I think it was The Edge...it was really bad, but I was young enough to not know any better and think it was alright. -
I'd rather half a dozen top guys run roughshot over the company then one...it's just better booking. But when they went over 5 or 6 guys it was just bad booking. Least the NWO was entertaining for the first year
-
Wanted to bump this, cause I saw another episode and it was just as bad. Joe Rogan cannot do comedy. He's just bad at it. The skits are too skittish. For instance, when Adam and Jimmy did the sperm bank skit it seemed like it was half them goofing off and half a skit. But when the new guys did the urine test skit you could tell it's 100% a skit. Rehearsed and unfunny. And when they flash the names of the writers at the end you see a few names, but not Joe or Doug...Adam and Jimmy (along with one other guy) wrote their shows. I don't see this show coming back next year...but it's comedy central, nothing there gets great ratings, so it could slide. Awful awful show
