http://www.detnow.com/wxyz/nw_local_news/a...3214979,00.html Breaking News: One Dead in Detroit Daycare Shooting By Action News Team Web produced by Seth Myers September 28, 2004 One person was killed and at least three others were wounded following a multiple shooting at a daycare center on Detroit’s northwest side. Tuesday morning, police said a suspect was still on the loose. Several people were taken by ambulance to Sinai Grace Hospital following the incident that took place Tuesday morning at a licensed daycare facility. Both Detroit and Michigan State Police responded to the scene. The daycare center is operated in a home on Woodbine, just northwest of 7 Mile and Telegraph. Initially, it appeared the shootings might have taken place just outside the home. Two people at the daycare facility, which backs up to Telegraph Road, ran through its backyard and flagged down Michigan State Police troopers. By 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick had arrived at the scene and was seen speaking to investigators. Stay tuned to 7 Action News at Noon and to WXYZ.com for more on this developing story as it becomes available. ----------------- Saw it on local news a minute ago. From what they're saying the guy walked up to the door, asked someone if it was a daycare, and when he found out it was he started shooting

I still haven't gotten around to Firefly yet, so I wouldn't deprive myself of voting, thus I would not vote Firefly

Shaun of the Dead: Zombies, gore, jokes...
Youth N Asia replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
But in most good comedies there's usually at least one good laugh...not just a bunch of giggles. -
Shaun of the Dead: Zombies, gore, jokes...
Youth N Asia replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
If I get the "you don't understand British comedy" or anything like it one more time I'm going to stick a shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger with my big toe taking the back of my head off. -
"High Noon" by DJ Shadow "Blood Brothers" by Papa Roach I think those two would be great

I edited my post to sound less graphic... Passion > The Gift

Not Fade Away* (5.22) 11 Passion (2.17) I don't care for the Gift near as much as everyone else. I think it has to do with never caring for the Dawn character. Passion owns all

Shaun of the Dead: Zombies, gore, jokes...
Youth N Asia replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
While I laughed though a good lot of the movie...there was no huge laugh. I had fun, but I was disapointed. -
Hell, I thought Conspiracy of One was right up there with Smash...but I haven't been able to give Splinter a serious listen yet

How would you have killed Kane's child?
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
The problem with that is Vince and the writers thinking the fans are all morons who can't remember just a couple months back...so the idea of going 6 years back is a little much. -
I really like the band, but I already have their albums, and I'm not buying another cd for one friggin song. Plus I tend not to buy greatest hits anyway

Bah, every other line in this thread have spoiler tags, no fun. I'm all for the show so far, but the T rex twist or whatever it is seems a little weird

WHOO!! Lost and Rescue Me...Wednesday is no longer the most useless day of the week.

Is Jamiroquai even relevent enough to hate anymore?

First off...this is the WWE's 2nd dead baby angle. So no answer you give will be more tasteless then what the company's already doing anyway. The more outlandish the idea, the better. I kinda like the idea of bringing in a nobody that we'll never see again to kill the child. So that way Kane can just eliminate him completly. But I do fell this is a missed opportunity. They could have used one of their own and put them in a big time feud. Steven Richards murdering Kane's baby could have been just the push he needed to get into the upper midcard slot. Slingshot Suplex suggested to me that Kane should being the fetus to the ring with him from now on and use it to beat opponents.

Being that the event will be booked on the fly...there's about a 0% chance of HHH dropping the belt, as opposed to the 1% we're used to.

Season 2 continues to kill season 1. John and Kathleen will be enough to win the money next week. And it's easy to see why, not only are their stand ups better, but the war room stuff is way better. Kathleen doing the Ralphie voice and talking about eating Dat was great, and then John comes back with "if you eat Dat Phan you'll just be hunrgy 30 minutes later." Heff and Dave must move on next week. Both had great sets, and guy on guy rape humor is always funny. While I'm all for getting Dat and Ralphie in one fell swoop...I hate the idea of losing Madigan. Kathleen wasn't great, but she's the only one with material on things happening right now. Ralphie hyping up his "controversial" act was great considering there wasn't one laugh in the entire set. I don't mind racial humor...but if it's not funny then it's 10x worse. Jay just missed on everything. I like him, but I think I've heard everything he has to offer now. After a good week Dat went back to being very very bad. Every single joke is about being Vietnamese. Weak weak material he's done before. I would have rather seen Glass in stand up instead of a roast, but I'm glad he's still on.

So I'm Going to be on MTV Next Month
Youth N Asia replied to Boner Kawanger's topic in Television & Film
So I'm Going to be on MTV Next Month, This has nothing to do with music Being that 99% of the stuff they air has nothing to do with music, I would have been shocked had it been music related. -
Jimmy Eat World is just a great band. People just tend to shit on that kind of music as a whole. And for what it is Dashboard can be pretty good at times. And while I'm not that big on Yellowcard, they put on a high energy show.

Oh, and from I've read now. The fan who stood up only did so cause BJ spit blood on the guy. Now yelling and even shoving the fans is one thing, but blood spitting is just vugar. Get you heat in the ring and on the mic, BJ...if you can.

Nigle vs Joe was alright...but Strong vs Joe was the shit. That's the match to check out
-
I wish I knew Quack's theme, I had it stuck in my head the entire weekend.
-
I went to both nights, and they were great shows. Strong vs Joe, Punk vs Aries, and Rave vs Styles were all just great matches from night 1. Anyone that skipped that and just went to the finals really missed out. I don't think the crowd was pissed over the Joe and Rainman finish. They didn't come off that way. Super Dragon got tons of love despite having a so-so match. And Ian said durring the Q&A that he wouldn't be back because he was "a dick." I think the show's going to look great on tape cause the crowd was very hot. It's funny how they boo'd Cannon durring his match with Williams, but then all cheered when he set up the shinning wizard and won his match. I don't like the idea of putting the 3 biggest names in the final. I thought they might do one big name; Styles or Joe, one homegrown guy; Webb or Cannon, and then one longshot; Sydal or Quack...crowd was way into Quack. And the final was hurt a tad cause it took AJ 3 times to get up Joe for the Styles Clash finish. There was an incident with a fan in the 2nd or 3rd row yelling at Fannin after "The Charisma Machine" BJ Whitmer had his match. So BJ runs over and shoves the guy or something. So BJ was nowhere near the scene when it happened, but maybe thought "I can get heat this way." Then Ian basicaly comes out and tells him that he was dumb to leave his seat, when all he did was stand up. Then another guy stands up and says the guy did nothing wrong...so Ian yells at him for no reason. Which was more or less bullshit. And since it was an IWA crowd everyone sided with Ian. And Ian in the Q&A basicaly said the fans could yell and get up all they wanted...untill they stuck their heads into the ring...this guy was a couple rows back. BJ's 7 way maych sucked anyway. It's stupid to have these guys work 10-20 minute matches the night before, and then have them all eminiate each other in just minutes. Other then that bullshit it was a great 2 nights.

I can see the next one. "So now who can we compare Rosey to?" "I dunno, what's he go going for him." "ehhh...runs around, wears a mask." "He's the next LYGER!"
