I heard about UFC on FSN, but I didn't know when it was on or when it would debut, I just happened to tune in as it was starting.
Two very good matches, and I haven't seen any UFC since 38, so it was all new to me (the matches were from UFC 47)
The show is obviously staged. And the best part of the show is when Don Vito rambles on with things that aren't even words and they subtitle them anyway
Another...very small one.
This is when I was maybe 13 or 14
I was having matches with Yokozuna, and we both had life meters like a video game. I could call out undertaker and he would kick his ass down to one lifebar, but then Yoko would squash me without getting in any extra hits.
I've told this one before.
I'm ringside at a WWE show and it's Austin vs someone. Then Vince comes out at me and tells me to go fetch him a "damn chicken sandwich and a veronrs." I refuse, so he calls Shane out to kick my ass...Shane sprints out from the back, then runs into the ring and gets stunned by Austin.
I woke up with the WTMF was that feeling
Wow, way to say....
ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!
Screw Axl, this cd is a burn and nothing more for me, I fully intended to buy it when they were talking about it 200 years ago, but this crap is just getting to be too much. Axl isn't getting my money.
While they may not be the worst endings. I lost all interest in the two 2000 shows that had Benoit winning the title from Rocky, only to have the decisions quickly reversed, leading to an overly predictable Rocky wins finish.
Mikey would rip you to shreads Curryman...although I think I could soundly beat up all of his students.
Jimmy Jacobs...I think I would be least afraid of him over anyone else.
And I'm pretty sure I could take Droz and Dynamite Kid.
And New Jack has 4 legit kills under his belt. So I'd keep away from him. I wouldn't want Scott Norton either.
I was going to get it at work (Target) Tuesday. And it was $54.99. I figured I would try Sams Club first and see if it was cheaper...it was, but not enough when you consider my Target discount (most of the time Sams is cheaper, even with discount)...then I go back today and we're all out. But it's the set price, not the sale price. So I can pick it up at any time really.
I used to always look forward to their Halloween epiosdes, but now that they're a week or so later I just don't even care anymore. I think I caught the last one on a repeat.
The show would suffer too much without Christian.
And even though Hill died on Oz, he was still there to voiceover episodes. I was shocked with Wangler dying cause it was the first friggin episode of season 4, you don't kill your major guys right at the start. With Oz there were always new criminals to take the place of ones that died...so it worked there.
I loved the Ava twist, and I like the way they found it out. I expected the Carver to get Christian leaving Shawn's house, but they did it much better catching him in bed like that. Great cliffhanger ending. And I could have done without Joan Rivers, but Alec Baldwin had a good role.
I rank the sets:
1. Alonzo
2. Dave (at a close 2nd)
3. Rich
4. John...he just didn't click with the crowd and the jokes weren't his best
Personally I thought Gulman had a much better roast than Alonzo, although Bodden's stand up is ultimatly better.
The debate...was Alonzo the only one who thought of doing new recient material?
