  1. 4-8 weeks till shipping though...what if you need your anal massage now?
  2. Hall was a tag partner for Jerry Lynn one night against Credible and Rhyno...then the next night he was asked to put over Guido I believe, refused, then put over Sal, and beat Justin the same night...weird. And that was all.
  3. Jesus...Another new guy who's apparently getting a push without doing anything
  4. I'll have to check when I go into work Sunday night, but I'm pretty sure this is a web exclusive
  5. I never could get into the evil Scotty. Just seemed like the same Shane Douglas cursing promos from ECW. Sure he was scary, but I didn't care to watch him. And at no time or no era would I list him top 10
  6. When we had a polls and lists forum I did my top 50 ECW matches, but I can't find it anymore
  7. RVD never needed the world title though, same with Dreamer. They were both so over that it wouldn't have done them any good. Granted, it would have been a nice reward, but I think most people put the tv title over the world title durring Van Dam's reign anyway.
  8. I thought Halloween 6 was the worst movie ever...till I saw Halloween H20, which was the worst movie ever...then came the last one, which is without a doubt thr worst movie ever. Busta Rhymes gave maybe the worst acting performance in the history of cinema. It was just the least scary horror movie I've ever seen, truely awful
  9. Dunno what my top 5 would be, but off the top of my head these would be there Pit Bulls vs Raven & Richard Whipwreck vs Cactus Jack Douglas vs Credible...Cyberslam 99
  10. Shit...I think GAC was before House Party
  11. I stand by my statement
  12. I know they ignored Justin Credible entirely. But Douglas vs Credible from Cyberslam 99 is one of ECW's top 5 matches ever. That should have made the disk.
  13. Sid debuted at House Party 99 (January) and squashed Kronus I believe, in maybe John's last ECW show.
  14. "Who did Terry Funk eventually lose the title to after barely legal? Franchise? Sandman?" He lost it to Sabu at Born to be Wired in a barb wire match. I was a show in between Barely Legal and Haredcore Heaven 97...and I'm pretty sure it was an accident. Funk and Sabu got so tangled up in the barbwire neither could move. Sabu happened to be on top of him and the ref went to count Funk out, and he kicked out. But they were still tangled and the ref did it again and Funk didn't kick out. They could not get out of the wire and it seemed like a lackluster finsih. Then Douglas won the title at Hardcore Heaven, then lost it very pointlessly to Bam Bam before Novmember to Remember 97, only to get it back at N2R, then held it all of 1998 and 14 months in all before losing it to Taz at Guilty As Charged 99. He had the belt all of 98 despire being always injured and not defending that often...but the build up with him and Taz was great. "And my; what was the storyline reason for the split of the Gangstas?" I don't know if there ever was a reason for the split. Mustafa just left ECW and left Jack without a partner in 96 I believe. Jack usually worked singles after that or teamed with Kronus as the Gangstanators (even won the tag titles). Then New Jack brought Mustafa back in 99 against the Dudley Boys, only to have him turn on Jack and align with the Dudleys, leading to a bad match where Jack beat Mustafa and he was never seen again.
  15. If you like WW2 then you must must MUST get Band of Brothers. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion it's the greatest piece ever done about war. And my favorite DVD of all time. You can also find the Young Guns special edition for under $10.
  16. Barely Legal: The Eliminators v The Dudley?s: **3/4 -Short and spotty, but better then that Terry Funk v Raven: ***1/4 -...he's on crack right? Awful match. November To Remember ?97: Mikey Whipwreck v Justin Credible: *3/4 -Very good brawl...though this is coming from the same guy that gave Raven/Funk 3 1/4 Wrestlepalooza ?98: Shane Douglas v Al Snow: *1/4 -I remembered this being a pretty good match Hardcore Heaven ?99: Taz v Bubba Ray Dudley: *3/4 -That was a pretty good brawl. Hardcore Heaven 2000: Yoshihiro Tajiri v Steve Corino: ***1/4 -That was ****+ Heatwave 2000: Sal E Graziano v Balls Mahoney: DUD -Maybe the most pointless ECW match ever
  17. I don't think there was a standout. They couldn't have pulled it off without the other one.
  18. I was a pretty big fan of Bret years ago. But I just get tired of hearing his name now. Seems like he pops up every now and then in interviews and basicaly says nothing or just rehashes other interviews.
  19. I went 5 places for the ECW DVD Tuesday and couldn't find it...I left thr house early the next day and got the last on at Walmart
  20. Mikey, Tajiri, & Sinister Minister > Evolution I'll have forgotten all about Evolution in a couple of years. Other then some beat downs they haven't done anything.
  21. While I enjoy some of TNA. I usually enjoyed all of ECW. NWA's heavyweight divison is such a bore right now, and as long as Jarrett's on top of the promotion it'll stay that way. Their cruisers and some of their tag teams are the only reason to tune in...although I usually forget to do that. I've been to 6 or 7 ECW shows live and I've always had a great time. So in my book it's ECW >>>>>>>>> TNA. ECW seemed to be able to do a lot more with a lot less. And let's see if TNA can last a few more years before we even start comparing the two.
  22. Paul E also did a good Steve Austin. Bischoff just proves why he was a short term success, his thinking to wrestling was 100% business, no passion what so ever. You can't make it long term in wrestling with that thinking.
  23. How much you want to bet that he spin kicks her in the face after reciving oral.
  24. 1) Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero...looks pretty good 2) Heidenreich vs. Charlie Haas...I don't think Charlie can carry John to a watchable match. Usual squash. 3) Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree vs. RVD and Rey Misterio (non title)...the Smackdown titles are so far down the crapper right now I always forget who the champs are till someone tells me. They're the champs and I can't even remember the last time they were on. Could be a watchable match at best. 4) Kurt Angle does a "hometown challenge"...meh 5) Carlito vs. John Cena (US title)...could care less really. I'm starting to like Carlito, but I hate guys getting pushed to main events without doing anything, and I'm pretty tired of Cena. Looks like another less than great Smackdown.
  25. I like Bradshaw's character a lot more than I expected to. But just looking at "WWE Champion: Bradshaw" on paper just doesn't look like it makes any sesne. While I'm all for them putting the title on new people...it's still the guy from the APA. I think he would work well with a really long US title reign. American Dream blah blah. Would still give him a title, credibility, and promo time. But world champ with Virgil 2.0 just isn't working for me. I just hate the idea that the guy's good enough to be champ, but can't win a match on his own. That's why HHH was so good in 99-00. He didn't need run ins for EVERY defense.
