This whole evil GM shit has really killed the shows for me the last couple years. It's just bad tv to see Cena in handicap matches every week and constant run ins from Luther. Or to see Bischoff cut boring promos about putting HHH above God and everyone.
Sadly I can't see a show in the near future without these unwatchable GM angles.
I hope it's another evil GM who randomly strips titles, awards them to heels, and books the top babyfaces in 3 on 1 handicap matches...I can't get enough of that.
Why are people reccomending Simpsons and Married With Children? Seriously, you can see reruns of either 3 or 4 times a day. I don't really think those are the kinds of shows he had in mind.
Coach was ok for a while. And there's an episode where Dauber does something that his girlfriend wasn't going to like so he asks coach if he should tell her...
"No! Bury it Dauber! Bury it deep! Bury it deep and bury the shovel!"
that line killed me when I first heard it.
Paul London: "I break ankles!"
And when Livewire was a call in show. I think it was Todd and Tammy, and Backlund was the special guest that morning.
Caller: "First off I'd like to wish Sunny a happy birthday."
Sunny: "Awww..."
Backlund: "That's enough from you!"
Then he hangs up on the guy.
I don't think Lucky was really a miss...it was nominated for an Emmy or something. The show was much better than the advertisements showed.
I really like the first episode of this show. I've missed too much Nip/Tuck already and will have to make that up with DVDs, but FX is putting out great work.
And the Shield is the best show on tv.
This whole bit about the heel champ who handpicks jobbers is getting old very very fast. Looks like another crap show. And 4 sets of tits who can't wrestle are taking up time they don't need to be taking.
Oz. It's such a great show. I think it might take a few eps to get into, so you can get everyone down and whatnot. But it's worth getting. Seasons 1-3 are out on DVD now.
Corey had a painfully weak set. Nothing was working and you could read it on his face that he knew it.
And damn Tammy...this was her week to go! Todd was robbed in the first place.
The Shield got robbed!
The show, Michael Chiklis, and Walton Goggins...at least 2 out of 3 should have been nominated.
And they do have enough eps to be nominated, cause the show won for best drama before and Chiklis won before.
