  1. MVP could of been a good gimmick, but the guy they gave it to is like an even more annoying Coach, if that's possible, and probably a worse wrestler too...
  2. Wait, do you guys still pay to see WWE??
  3. Fairly sure that UT/Austin had that happened and they did the "um, it needs ALOT of blood, to count" I was just thinking that Hogan vs Flair in a steel cage with barb wire. That finished with a pinfall. but that was suppose to be a first blood match. Now that was a clusterfucked match right there. And SK gave it *** solely because Flair won the title. What a tool.
  4. He brings good discussion sometimes, but he (along with Choken) also talk down to other posters they don't agree with. Is that considered flaming? I think a lot of the people he doesn't agree with tend to know a lot less than they lead on, or just have bad taste.
  5. HTQ is one of the few reasons to keep coming back here, and Leena is one of the biggest reasons not to.
  6. Wow, this forum has really gone to shit. Anglesault, Rudo and Coffey were some of the best posters here.
  7. Hahaha wow, TNA will sign anybody who worked in WWE.
  8. As of late Angle has come off as an extremely self absorbed person who thinks wrestling is real and because he thinks he's the best that means he should never lose and he's the top draw and people come to see him.....even though none of that is the case. I think you mean...
  9. Good point. TNA's booking hasn't made sense since....ever.
  10. So they put the NWA title on Sting and didn't even use him to get anybody over, and couldn't even get him to drop it by pinfall. This company is giving WWE a run for it's money when it comes to illogical booking decisions. Welcome back Russo!
  11. The dream match of the decade... is 13 minutes.
  12. ...or Hart/Austin, or HBK/Razor from X, etc. I mean, Angle def. had his fair share of great matches. W/ Benoit, Austin, Mysterio, Edge, some Smackdown tags, Brock, etc...but he's delusional if he really believes that. Michaels/Razor wouldn't make my top 20...
  13. Yup, TNA still sucks.
  14. Bradshaw is one bitter guy. However, what's sadder is that he's simply allowed to get away with it because Vince likes him. Which is sadder, the fact that Bradshaw still has a job in the WWE or that he has fans that praise him even though he is the most overpushed untalented piece of garbage in pro-wrestling history? Come on now, give Randy Orton credit for something...
  15. Jericho is better on the mic than Edge. Jericho has more charisma than Edge. Jericho had more heat than Edge at any point in his WWE career. Jericho was a better worker than Edge. The only thing Edge has over Jericho is that he was given a better push.
  16. ...his heart exploded from steroid abuse. Why did you think they started the wellness policy?!
  17. 1. What HTQ said, but throw HBK in there too, and if Triple H isn't considered part of creative, then him especially 2. Fire 75% of the roster, and hire guys who can work, cut a promo or have charisma. Besides, most of the midcard is totally replaceable anyway. 3. Scrap ECW, fire 95% of the roster. 4. Replace Micheal Cole with Josh Matthews, replace JR & Lawler with Joey Styles and make Tazz a manager because he's a mediocre commentator, but has a load of charisma 5. Fire most of the divas, only keep the ones with heat 6. Completely change the entire direction of the show and make it more fake reality TV than the retarded, offensive, 1999 teen comedy mess it is now 7. Try to bring back Jericho and push him hard 8. Encourage wrestlers to put on good matches and stop being so strict with the WWE style 9. Let wrestlers who can talk, talk, and give managers to those who cant 10. Throw another grenade in the room just to make sure.
  18. With what? They have the worst roster since AWA 1990...
  19. Flair "retired" at Halloween Havoc '94 after losing a retirement match to Hogan. IIRC, Hogan was originally going to job to Flair at a Clash of the Champions after passing out from the figure four, so they could build to a rematch at Halloween Havoc. Hogan nixed the idea and they had to come up with another big angle to sell the PPV. I remember reading somewhere that RVD was under WCW contract before he was signed by WWE. It would have been interesting to see RVD in fusient WCW, I have no doubt he would of caught on as quickly with the fanbase as he did with WWE's, and Bischoff would of loved his kick filled moveset.
  20. Not bad for wrestling shirts. I'd go with the first.
  21. "OMG THIS IS HOW I WUD BOOK THE INVASION" threads went out of style in 2002. Get with the times.
  22. The crowd favored Jericho more during the fued with Austin, he was by far the bigger fan favorite everywhere but Edmonton, which was Benoit's hometown. Jericho was never given a chance to draw. He was never EVER (no pun intended) booked properly or shown to be at the same level as the other stars, and when he was the champ, was treated as a jobber with a belt and took a backseat to Rock, Austin, Triple H, nWo, Flair and Undertaker. In 2000, he was the second most over face in the company before Austin returned, and that was without a push... He also wasn't protected as well in his matches like Triple H was, who had carefully selected opponents and gimmick matches to hide his weaknesses. He was incredible on the mic, and anyone who says he couldn't cut a serious promo is an idiot. His promos against Rock and Michaels were some of the best I can remember, they were intense, emotional and definitely serious. When was the last time Triple H cut a promo half as good as those? Or anyone in WWE, for that matter? Heck, Angle gets praised for being a good promo and I've never heard one good, serious promo from him ever. When he tries to sound serious, he just comes off as goofy.
  23. Maybe in kayfabe they'll trade him for Angle. Benoit needs to stay on SD. The main event is getting thin again without Angle or Henry and now with Mysterio going out for knee surgery soon. They still won't push him. He'll probably be used to get over Kennedy... IIRC, ECW's largest attendance was 6000 for Anarchy Rulz '99.
  24. What I don't understand is why Monsoon gets bashed while Gordon Solie gets praised, Solie was quite possibly the single most boring, emotionless, robotic announcer I've ever heard. He showed absolutely no ehthusiasm in anything he said. I remember watching a tape where Dusty Rhodes won the title, and you wouldn't even know if you didn't listen closely. He sounded like he had just watched Steve Lombardi wrestle Len Denton.
  25. So why does he like HBK?
