The hell?! Are they worried Gibbons will leave via free agency and they won't be able to find another corner outfielder who can post a .315 OBP? No wonder this team sucks. Thread over at Engadget Releasing movies this way makes sense for smaller movies, even if they can only get the Theatrical release to coincide with the DVD release (only reason this is on Cable is because Mark Cuban owns HDNet/HDNet Movies so it was easy to get it on his own network) but I dont think its going to overhaul the entire system... Personally, I have no clue if my brand new Regal Stadium Cinema 16 will be showing this (I doubt it, although you know they'll have Big Mommas House 2) even though they promised that with the upgrade from 10 to 16 screens would allow them to show more less than mainstream movies. But honestly I wouldn't pay $10 to go see Bubble either, let alone however much the DVD costs. I will however,be tivoing it on HDNet Movies tonight at 9pm..I've seen the trailer on HDNet about 5000 times and all it showed was those stupid dolls..no clue what its about..so I finally looked it up when I set my tivo to record it: Bubble (2005) Laurie Lee, Dustin James Ashley, Omar Cowan, Residents of a small town investigate a murder which took place at a local Toy Factory. The 2 shows that Im looking forward to the most.. Heist - takes over Law and Orders Wednesday Timeslot March 22 (Law and Order moves to 9pm..ouch..). Its got Dennis Haysbert..and the reason why President Palmer got killed on 24. There are a few other things...Deal or No Deal comes back after the Olympics..I really liked it the first go around..Fox has a new comedy called Free Ride that will take the place of American Dad on Sunday nights (its supposedly an improv style show too..dunno about that..) Not to mention the much anticipated return of Prison Break March 20th. GREATEST 2 HOUR BLOCK ON NETWORK TV! Prison Break at 8, 24 and 9...

That really shouldn't matter. If you have a Tivo, the TV tunes to the channel to record and the meter would pick it up if you are in a metered home. If you have a diary, the person would write it down as normal... I think that the new way they are doing ratings splits it into 3 different categories. 1) Live viewing 2) Live viewing + DVR viewing within 24 hours 3) Live viewing + DVR viewing within a week Up until now, if someone in a metered home watched any DVRed program other than live, it didnt count towards the program's rating (which is #1 and still considered the most important figure). Some people have dual tuner DVRs which allow them to watch one thing while recording another, so some people might record RAW to watch later and watch something else live. The boost in ratings for programs using the 2nd and 3rd methods hasn't been that huge (highest has been .1 of a point or so) but as more people get DVRs, 2 and 3 will take on more relevance.

I hope Mark Blount plays as well enough for the the T-wolves as he was for the Celtics.. Plus, right now im down 6-2 and Im hoping to at least make a run at 4-4 but thats not going to help me much..
