Well at least I know Im fucked if this does go down. I live outside of Salisbury MD which is the HQ for Perdue Chicken (Frank Perdue - RIP), and right across the street from a chicken house. The entire Eastern Shore is like one big Chicken House anyway, they're like McDonalds around here, you cant go more than say 5 miles without seeing one somewhere. Aside from the "OMG I could catch the bird flu!" crisis, which is a legit concern for me because there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of people in this area who are in contact with chickens every day, theres also the fact that it will totally ruin the local economy if they start having to kill chickens because of it. Yay. This might be reason to move from the outhouse (as dubbed by former Governor Schaffer) of Maryland to somewhere else where Chickens don't outnumber people by so much (there are supposedly 600 million chickens).

I Watched MNF while I tivo-ed RAW and Prison Break, and then after the game I fast forwarded through RAW missing all the commercials which actually made the show a wee bit better.

Well the manufacturers are wrong for starters, but most of them put the disclaimers on the boxes about the differences.

I think Vince's problem with the internet is that most of it is people who are fans of wrestling but have no experience in the business, and everyone is basically acting like they know how to run the WWE better than Vince ever could. And the people who run the news sites who do have knowledge/experience in the business, he hates them too because they make his job harder by spoiling stuff. Wrestling needs the "shock" factor and with the internet where you can find out whats going to happen a lot of the time in advance, most of that is taken away. The problem is however, that these same people on the net are probably the core demographic for his product, but by going out of his way to do the opposite of what the net fans want, not only is he alienating his core group of fans, but he's also probably not appealing to the other group of people who don't go around talking about wrestling on the net even though they do watch the shows. The only person he seems to want to appeal to is himself and his huge ego.

EA collaborated with Fox Interactive on Road Rage but had nothing to do with Hit and Run. Granted, I've never played Road Rage but I heard it wasn't very good. I also remembered playing Simpsons Wrestling (or whatever it was called) a few years back at a friends house and whoever was behind that needed to stop making games. The concept was there, but it stunk...

Link from Joystiq Simpsons Hit and Run is probably the best Simpsons home console game, although I did begrudgingly like Bart vs the Space Mutants. It is rather sad that the Konami Arcade game never got a console release, although it wouldnt have been the same fun playing with 1 other person as playing with 3 other people. I just wonder how they'll handle the license.

I just heard an ad for "Mountain Dew Freakzilla". Apparently its a new flavor like Code Red/Livewire/Pitch Black. I cant find anything about it yet though, so I have nothing except the name. Its ashame they probably can't get Scott Steiner in to be the spokesperson.

I really didnt feel like starting a new thread on this.. Levees in New Orleans to be rebuilt only to withstand a category 3 hurricane.. So we can go through all of this again when New Orleans gets hit with another Cat 5 Hurricane? I wouldn't blame any of the "We wanna rebuild" people if they decided to move after that brilliant move.

I thought Mondays episode was ok. It was nice that they gave a medical explanation for Micheal's obsessive attention to details. Im still waiting for what happens when the black guy who was nosy about what they all were dropping around the yard does.
