So I guess this one will be like the first one, only replace Airplane with Rollercoaster. As much as I love riding Rollercoasters, it makes me kinda want to avoid this if thats the case. I liked the first one, but the 2nd one was just plain stupid.

I cannot believe Peter jackson managed to remake a 100 minute movie into over 3 hours. The Lord of the Rings movies needed 3 hours plus, and had a fanbase willing to sit through 3+ hours (and buy extended DVD versions that were even longer), but I dont think King Kong has that sort of devoted fanbase. I cant see many people being very happy after sitting through 3 hours of King Kong. Im shocked that its not coming in under 2 1/2 hours with an extended version DVD or something down the line..

Funny I start watching the SNF game and the Pats scored a TD and then the Bills came back with a score of their own. More offense in half an hour than there was in the entire first half that I missed.

Im up in the TSM league 65 - 48, and I would have been up more if I had played Bubba Franks instead of Jermaine Wiggins (Franks had about 14 more points than Wiggins). I got really lucky that Portis was held in check and FO started 2 Cleveland WRs, although Plummer had a better game than I was hoping he'd have. Sad thing is, even though Im up almost 18 points, I have Jamal Lewis for tomorrow night and Foreign Objects has Todd Heap, Willie Parker and the Steelers Defense...ugh..its going to be close but Im probably going to get beat unless the Ravens manage to get the first good game out of Jamal and put up points without going to Todd Heap...

Dude, I don't know where you got thsoe ideas from, but they are just patently incorrect. I've seen the screenshots of most of the launch games, and aside from a few screenshots which are impressive, most of the stuff I've seen looks like it could have easily been done on the X Box or any other console now. As for the 30fps thing, Its in the thread over on Joystiq about Madden 2006 on Xbox 360 only running 30fps. The PS2/X Box versions run at 30fps, and yet you've got a supposedly much more powerful console running a supposedly built from the ground up version of Madden and its still running 30fps. the thread on Joystiq

I read over on Joystiq that even though the 360 has the 3 core architechture, all the launch titles will be single threaded and wont take advantage of it. Thats nice of Microsoft. I'm not seeing anything screenshot wise for any game that shows anything that couldn't be done on an Xbox now although that singlethreaded bit might be some reason for that. Plus all the games are supposedly still running in 30fps, which for such a powerful machine is kinda sad.

I guarantee that AD and Kitchen Confidential will get moved or (shudder) canceled to accomodate Prison Break. There's no way they'll risk screwing up its ratings by holding off on new episodes or moving it to a different night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought the plan all along was for AD to end in January when House/24 was scheduled to start. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right now it looks as if at least Arrested Development will get moved to friday, as FOX has the previous weeks episode of Prison Break airing at 8pm for next week. Heck, the Prison Break rerun on Monday at 8pm got better ratings than any episode of AD/KC this year, so they might keep airing the previous week of PB at 8pm. Also, Fox ordered a full season for Prison Break a couple weeks ago which means they have enough episodes to run the whole season now (I think its 22, instead of the original 13). I saw somewhere that if Fox doesn't move/cancel AD and KC, that Prison Breaks first 13 episodes will air as planned, ending in Mid December with a cliff hanger, then reruns/specials for a couple weeks until 24 starts in January, and then when 24 ends, Prison Break will return with the last 9 episodes in June/July/August leading in to season 2 almost immediately next August, and then depending on next years schedule they could do the same thing (prison break/baseball/prison break/24/prison break) if 24 returns and all.

This would have been something if the Sox didnt score 2 runs in the top half of the inning..

The entire city of houston will be calling in sick for work later this morning. In a sick way I wanna see how long this goes before its called and finished tomorrow before game 4.

Id be affraid to canibalize my starting rotation by using a starter in this game and then go on to lose the game. Definitely wouldnt do it if I was the White Sox. The astros I figure are in a must win position now, given they've gone this far and they cant afford to go down 3-0.

I wonder what happens if they run out of pitchers. Position players come in to pitch sure, but being its national league game, and they've pinch hit for the pitchers a few times, they can't have many guys left on the bench to come in either.. Hmm.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good. Im trying to figure out who LJ goes to for help, although in the preview clip he was showing talking to Lincoln so who knows.. That was quite the shocker, to have the woman we've seen bits and pieces of for the first 7 episodes turn out to be the Vice President.

Shock amongst shocks..the Umps blow another call. The ball hit the blue billboard to the left of the yellow line and should have been ruled in play. I sure as hell hope that they do institute some sort of replay program, at least for home runs/foul ball calls for next season.
