Well, barring some sort of miracle, Im going to lose all my pitching points this week (not that I had much of a chance to win them anyway..) since theres like a very slim chance I'll get 30 IP this week. Im currently at 19.1 with Hampton still pitching maybe for 2 more innings, and then all I've got for the rest of the week is Jake Peavy starting. So unless my RP work a couple innings, Im not gonna make it. I dont really know how I could avoid this in a weekly format though. I guess the answer would be "get better pitchers". Another way to look at it: If you have a pitcher get hurt and miss a start, you might as well not even worry about your pitching points because you more than likely wont get to 30 IP and then you'll automatically be down 0-4. The margin for error some weeks is going to be that slim and other weeks when you get pitchers who make 2 starts, it won't matter..

Im starting off with a rough start, pitching wise especially. Acquino is gone as soon as Gagne is back , and Oswalt got rocked.

Gee...let me think. cant have the Ravens win the SB since that would be next year.. cant have any college championships for MD in football/basketball since that would be next year.. So.. I want the Wizards to win the NBA Title! SHOCK! SWERVE! GASP! .. Seriously..O's win the World Series..duh..

my experience with sports radio is that they only focus heavily on Baseball for the first Week in April, the 2 weeks in July around the all star game (when theres nothing else sports to talk about but baseball really unless its golf/tennis or NASCAR), and the last week or so of the regular season and in the playoffs.

Another thing: If you like baseball.. and you can stand to listen to games on the radio, then XM Radio = your friend. XM has the Home Plate channel 175 dedicated 24/7 to MLB news and scores (also has a 2 hour Ripken Baseball show with Cal and Billy Saturday mornings) as well as the other channels for the home team feed of all games. It kinda sucks its only the home team feed, but its still cool to be able to listen to all the games with no blackouts or crap like that. And its roughly 40% ($60 for the next 6 months...well now more like 1/2 with XMs new fee it would be $78) the cost of MLB Extra Innings ($149?) plus you get all the other XM Radio goodness (like O&A for instance..)

Who's pitching tomorrow for the A's with Harden getting scratched with his blister? Saarloos? I have no idea who that is! 2-0! 2-0!

All he needs to do is tear his quad next week and then work really hard to come back. The "My Sacrifice" videos showing him fighting to come back for his title shot at WM will get fans to rally behind him to face..uh..Jericho..yeah.. Oh wait.. nevermind

The two instore rentals at Blockbuster do it for me. At almost $7 a pop for game rentals, it pays for itself every month for just the two game rentals . My main problem, Im running out of movies to watch. There hasn't really been anything I would want to rent that has come out over the last 2 months or so, and between October and say..uh..January..I think I rentered every single new release, releatively new release (within the last year) that I wanted to see. Also, with the new 2 week thing instore, there never seems to be any games worth even renting. For the most part, Im stuck renting movies like Taxi to at least keep movies coming. At some point, Im gonna have to cancel. and when I do..I think I'll start up one of those adult DVD rental services (I saw one, 2 out for $15 a month).

I hope not Eh..why not? There wouldn't be any better time to end the brand extension than with the new TV deal, epsecially given the state of both rosters as it is. At this point, there are..maybe 15 or so top stars on each show. Neither show has a Tag Division..Canceling Velocity means they might as well ditch the cruiser division on Smackdown. The Women's division on RAW might as well not even exist either. The guys who are around just because there's a brand extension (uh.. Val Venis, Viscera,Chris Masters, Simon Dean, Heidenreich, Mark Jindrak..etc.. ) arent anything to throw a fit over to keep the brand extension. Take the 30 or so top stars from each show, throw them back into the one brand, have them wrestle both shows, put some of the lesser people back on Heat. Plus, no more single brand PPVs, although they'd have to cut out the extra ones they just recently added..

There is absolutely no reason for them to not do HD RAW by 2006. I can understand them not having it when it starts because they'll still probably have to buy equipment and such..and the 2 NBC Specials better be in HD too. Also, I was thinking.. 1rst NBC Special - Last Saturday Night before Wrestlemania 2nd NBC Special - Last Saturday Night before Survivor Series I was also thinking...could this be the motivation to end the brand extension???

USA Network does HD?????? USA is owned by NBC which also owns Bravo which had Bravo HD which was turned to Universal HD late last year. If you look at their lineup tonight, it was a Monk marathon in HD. It wouldnt be hard for them to simulcast RAW in SD on USA and in HD on UHD.

But he did steal a ton of bases a couple years ago..so the steroids could have improved his speed. I guess the image of the only ones being on steroids are big hosses is now gone..

Booker should have won a title soon after he came to the WWE, it would have helped him out a lot with credibility. Im just glad for the most part he's stopped saying "5 time x 5 WCW Champion" because it just proves that he was good enough to win 5 WCW titles during the dying days of WCW but he's not even a high midcarder in WWE.

Thats like..incredibly stupid. They could at least put it on heat. I doubt there will be a heat match now.

Maybe in CBS' version, she gets her tube put in at the last second and makes a remarkable recovery.. I also feel bad for whoever has to play her.

I think that Cena winning would make the crowd happier than Batista winning. And if Cena doesn't win..that would be more like the WWE. The WWE way for Batista/HHH would be for HHH to lose tonight, only to win it back at Backlash.

It would be odd if whoever wins decides to wait to take the title shot, but in the process gets hurt and can't have his title shot within that year. Jericho is really the only one in the match without some sort of history with injuries.

Um. So are they just ignoring the 6 man ladder match stipulation, or will whoever take the shot tomorrow on RAW or at a different PPV? Cause I would have figured that would be the ME for Backlash.
