Theres no way they have THE WORST rotation in baseball. Lopez, Bedard and Chen have been excellent so far this year. Together they've given up 10 earned runs in 47 innings, combining for a 3-0 record and 1 CG. Its Cabrera and Ponson which have been the weak links in the rotation.. Between the two, they've given up 25 earned runs in 25 innings (Ponson has 13 in just 8 innings). Cabrera pitched better vs the Yankees yesterday, but he still has a lot of room to improve. Ponson, Im convinced, should be in the bullpen or better yet, somewhere else besides the Orioles roster.

I cant really complain much..I think I got the steal of the draft in the 13th round..Mike Hampton is 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. If the Braves offense would show up when he pitches he'd be 3-0. Having Peavy, Oswalt and Hampton gives me some confidence about my pitching staff even though I only have one closer at the moment. Offensively, Im going nuts trying to fill in 2B/SS. Im trying Geoff Blum at 2B now that he'll be filling in at 2B for the Padres for the next month. I dont know how long Im gonna stick with Álex González at SS, but theres very few options at SS in Free Agency.

I cant believe that the O's are playing the Yankees so well this year. They win tomorrow (SWEEP!!!) and they'll have won as many games against the Yankees as they did all last year. And Brian Roberts is the next Brady Anderson...err..well I cant see Roberts hitting 50 HRs but its still a power surge completely out of nowhere.

That was my favorite Game Magazine. I still have the last few issues of "Game Players" and the whole run of "Ultra Game Players" before it was turned into Game Buyer (I think). Then I subbed to Next Generation, which was another decent magazine that also got canceled, and replaced my 1 remaining subscription issue with Game Pro which I didnt renew. This could go in the "industry secrets" page, but... The meat that you ate came off the bone of the original and extra crispy chicken that was thrown away the night before. What I mean is, at the end of the night they take all the chicken left, but the wings, and save all the meat (minus bones and skin) and then the next day (or two) they cut it or rip it up and use it in the Pot Pies and the BBQ Sandwiches. It is kept refrigerated overnight. Most of the time, whenever you can find a use for something that you would normally otherwise throw away, its considered a good thing in a kitchen. As long as the food that is reused is handled, cooled and reheated properly, theres nothing wrong with it, but thats where a lot of people get in to trouble and it can make people sick if it isn't.

Chicken places are ripoffs. $12 for 10 pieces of chicken? Screw that, try $4 for a whole chicken and cut it up/cook it myself.

I imagine it could be backwards compatible if you buy the hard drive add on, but straight out of the box, from everything I understand, it cant be because of the lack of the hard drive. I was also thinking..the base unit without a HD better be relatively small, or else the thing wil be HUGE with the HD add on. I honestly want Nintendo to put a Hard Drive in their next console, if for nothing more than game saves because I think I've spent a good $100 on memory cards for my Gamecube, although now my 59 and 2 251's are empty cause I got the 1019 model.

I went to the Shorebirds A Ball opener,froze my ass off, but saw them beat the Lexington Legends (Houston A) 5-4. The S'Birds starter went 5 innings and struck out 10 but didnt get the win cause the bullpen blew it. Then I got home and saw how the O's clobbered the Yankees and wished I had stayed home to watch that instead.

Well..I like the name "Revolution" but Im betting it wont be the official name of the next console. anyway.. Credit to Joystiq again: Too bad that MS probably wont even have 1 million units at launch to cause artificial hype for it. It might go for $299, but that will be without a hard drive. Personally, I dont have all the hate for the XBox 360 as I did the original, mainly because its too easy. Microsoft has proved how stupid they are when it comes to gaming consoles, and the 360 will be proof. Not making the 360 backwards compatible, while at the same time (supposedly) still releasing new X Box games for 2 more years won't give people any reason to plunk down over $300 for it when they can still get new games for their old X Box. That pretty much defeats the purpose of jumping the gun on Sony and releasing the system this year. Also, not keeping the hard drive and making it an add on just screams "lets milk them for more money". And add ons to consoles are pretty much always failures, they should have taken notes from Sega.

I heard that the only reason Stern went to Siruis, aside from the fact that Sirus was stupid enough to give him a 500 million contract, was that O&A went with XM first and he hates them or something. Slightly off topic, but Sirus will probably be bankrupt in 2 years and then Stern, having burned all his bridges with radio, will be off the air. Or, he'll be on XM after they buy out Sirius.. Sirius put out too much money for Stern, the NFL, to take NASCAR away from XM, and etc, and they are depending on people signing up and paying $13/month to hear Stern, and I doubt they will.
