As far as I can tell, they really didnt bog down the show with really crappy matches. But consider the following..unless theres something done tonight for a US title match or Cruiser Title match, they wont get defended either..so..the titles being defended are: Both World Titles Women's Title Not Defended Both Tag Titles Cruiser Title US Title IC Title It just seems to be odd to me that they would not have title defense of some sort for those last 5 titles, because it completely devalues them. They might as well just go back to having 2 World Champions, a Women's Champ on RAW and a Crusier Champ on SD. No Tag Titles, no Secondary Titles..just those 4 belts. We already know the SD Tag and IC wont be defended..and unless something happens on SD, the US and Cruiser Titles might not be defended. Not that Im clammoring for Orlando Jordan/Scotty 2 Hotty or Tajiregal vs La Resistance or uh..random Cruiser Madness at WM, but..Im just sayin.. Anyway..If this is a 5 hour show (or 4 1/2..whatever..) the fact that there are only 8 matches (as of now), then there should be plenty of time for all the high interest matches which..could be good or bad in some cases (I really would prefer Taker/Orton not go more than 15 minutes tops...but Angle/HBK better get at least 25 minutes). Order of interest: Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels World Heavyweight Championship: Batista vs. Triple H Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match WWE Championship: John Cena vs. JBL Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero ---- Undertaker vs. Randy Orton Women's Championship: Christy vs. Trish Sumo Match: Big Show vs. Akebono So..overall, the top 5 matches are enough to have me interested enough to plunk down $50. I dont think there's anyway that the last 3 can really ruin the show for me, unless the top 5 end up to be all stinkers...somehow.

Damn, you're actually going to end up with more wins on the season than Gotham Harlequins...As a team in the consolation bracket I challenge you to a duel! That is if I can make it out of the first round…My team has been pretty terrible and has lost 5 out of the last 6 weeks. What did me in was I lost to Gotham last week 5-2, mainly cause I wasn't able to fix my rosters for Monday and I lost like 3 or 4 games that were pretty big stats. If I had only lost 4-3... As it is, I cant really get all up for the "NIT" playoffs..but I'll try. I dont think I've made the playoffs in any fantasy league by TSM yet...so I really dont know why I keep trying (holds out hopes for the baseball league this year..). One of my big problems (as evidenced by my league leading number of moves) is that I cant seem to keep a player too long when they are in a slump (I had Quentin Richardson at the start of the season for instance and he had a slow start)..I also should have kept Dwayne Wade last year..worst move ever not keeping him.

I have to do some quick math, but unless Hughes or Evans get a block, Gotham will finish 5-1-1, where as I finish 6-1 (no ties all year, yay!) but Im thinking Im missing the playoffs by a half a damn game. yep..in fact I missed the playoffs by 1/2 game or .004 winning percentage. D A M N once again my playoff hopes are dashed on the last freaking day of the regular season.

Absolutely amazing this thread has been dead for 3 months.. Anyway..its PLAYOFF Time..almost. And it looks like Im (Court Jesters) going to make the playoffs as the 6 seed. As long as I finish 6-1 and Gotham Harlequins finishes no better than 5-2, I win based on the better record for week 21 (This week). Id say that the odds are pretty good of that happening..however I've had heartbreak on the final day of other leagues before so I wont get all excited for 23 hours. As for my keepers..Its looking to me like.. Dirk Baron Davis and Jason Williams / Tyson Chandler I cant decide whether I want 2 PGs or Chandler's Rebounds/Blocks. decisions..decisions..

Os finalized Rotation so far: Lopez Cabrera Bedard Ponson ??? ??? = Riley or Chen Cabrera as the #2 should be interesting. Ponson could do better as a #4 starter as long as he's not pissed off about it.

Interpromotional matches are pretty much best suited for Wrestlemania. They can make the interpromotional matches seem bigger by having them once a year only at Wrestlemania. That being said, with the draft done yearly (im assuming a 3rd draft is coming soon) and various roster changes and whatnot, there arent a whole lot of SD vs Raw matches that I would really care about enough to even have them at WM. They lucked out with HBK vs Angle because they've never wrestled before.. I sorta had the feeling that if they didn't want JBL to lose to Cena that they would push to have JBL vs HHH..but...I dont think that will happen given they are both heels anyway. Its not like theres a large contingent of fans of one brand over the other that would root for JBL just because hes on Smackdown (or HHH because hes on RAW).. A Smackdown vs RAW PPV where they have like 7 matches consisting of interpromotional matches would be really hard to promote given the fact that the wrestlers wouldn't even meet face to face (or they could, but then you lose the illusion of the brand extension if 4 SD wrestlers show up on RAW and 3 RAW wrestlers on SD). Plus, there really isn't much of a benefit of 1 brand winning over the other (OMG!!! RAW beat Smackdown 4-3!!) and you would know that the first 6 matches would split 3-3.. If any PPV could be made into this, it would be Survivor Series..and honestly 5 on 5 SD vs RAW SS rules matches would be more interesting that 7 seperate matches, but I wouldnt make the whole show out of matches like that.
