There are tons of places to get cheap games on the internet. Frys Outpost (outpost.com) has some really good deals on games for pre-ordering with free shipping and (as a bonus) no tax. More people will buy games for full price, play them/beat them/get tired of them and sell them back on EBay or whatever to get some of their money back. Also, I think game rental sites like Gamefly will get more common and more popular.

Im guessing thats why Circuit City is in the process of getting bought out. But honestly, if games are $70, more people will wait to catch them when the go on sale for $50, or even later when they are selling them as the Greatest Hits titles. There are very few games I would pay $70 for.

I wonder how it will compatible with non HD TVs since its going to be outputting everything in 720p at a minimum. Im guessing all the games will end up letterboxed on non HD tvs. Thats not going to sit well with joe average consumer who still doesnt have a HD TV and buys Fullscreen DVDs because it fills up his whole screen. I can just see this now: JAC: I just bought this game, and I must have bought the widescreen version by mistake because I got the black bars on the top and bottom. I want to exchange it for the full screen version. Storeperson: Uh..what the hell are you talking about. Its a game, not a movie..there arent different versions..

I noticed a couple weeks back that Maryland was considering hiking its min. wage, so obviously single states can raise their own min wage and thats probably the best way to do minimum wage. $5.15 might be fine for the middle of nowhere but in a larger city it might need to be higher.

My main question is that due to the fact that they write 24 on the fly pretty much, did they fully intend to bring back Tony, Michelle from the start or did they bring them back to boost ratings which arent really doing to spiffy this season?

Well, the good news is that most jobs that pay minimum wage cant be outsourced to other countries. Imagine all the people making in the $8-10 range,(err..like myself right now) which seems like pretty decent money (I pay rent, have directv, buy gas, rent movies, buy games..etc with no problem although I usually do so when I can do it cheaply/for free) who will end up only making $1 or $2 more than min. wage if these bills pass. Good for the people who are just starting or end up getting stuck in a min. wage paying job, but not so good for the people who've worked a couple years to get to that point...and I doubt this plan includes bumping everyones pay up in proportion to the minimum wage increase..

I dont know about the before and after.. Before: Angle vs Taker - Would be an OK match, but doesn't have as much of the appeal as Angle/HBK has. JBL staying as the champion is iffy, but I think they might actually get a decent match out of JBL/Cena. Before: HHH vs Orton 2 (err, that happened at RR but they wouldnt have had that match had they still gone ahead with plans for the match at WM) - I dont think I could have stood 6+ weeks of hyping Orton vs HHH. As a Bonus, Orton would have had to have won the RR. Im kinda interested in Batista vs HHH, but Im one of the few that hasn't been bit by the Batista bug over the last 3 months. Orton vs Taker came right out of left field..and Im guessing they plan to crown Orton "man to beat Taker at WM first" but thats a perfectly good waste of an angle that they've pretty much been building up for such a long time... Before : Snitsky/Heidi vs Taker/Kane - heres where it makes no sense to scrap the buildup for the match at the Royal Rumble, but its actually a good thing since that Tag Match would be horrible and it pretty much looks like were getting Heidi/Booker, Taker/Orton and maybe Snitsky/Benjamin out of it. Kane is kinda left out in the cold, but he could get stuck in that Jericho ladder match or whatever. Before: Lita/Hardy/Kane thing - that was pretty much done for when she got hurt, then the whole breakup thing..probably for the betterment of the show anyway. I think overall the changes are for the better..
