If he had come out and said all this 2 or 3 years ago when there wasn't so much of a steroid controversy already, this would have been A) A big deal and B)taken a whole lot more seriously. As it is, its obvious that no one would have cared about his book if he didnt accuse everyone he ever met of taking steroids and trying to make money off it. His book would be in the bargain bin 2 weeks after it was released if he didnt and no one would care about Jose Canseco. In addition to Directv's rollout of 3 new satellites to increase their HD channel offerings upwards of 1500 (including locals and national networks) by 2007, they are also working on a Satellite Tuner with a hard drive/DVR and the ability to recieve on demand programing, and it will be released sometime soon. So if you have Directv, theres hope!

Off topic, but how do you know you want a Revolution? Virtually nothing has been said about it yet, and if the DS is any indication, top management at Nintendo are losing their minds. Well, Im pretty sold on it even without knowing a thing about it just because its being made by Nintendo. -- EA does a good job with the NASCAR Games, but I saw that they are releasing a "NASCAR Sim Game" on the PC soon to please all the NASCAR Sim fans out there that hadn't had a new "sim" game in several years. There used to be several on the PC before EA bought the exclusive rights to NASCAR.

I thought it was the X Box 360? I also read that Microsoft was sticking with DVDs for their next console. Sony is 100% confirmed to be going with their Blu-Ray drive since they need to incorporate it into something that will immediately get them a large number of Blu-Ray players so they dont look like idiots for the millionth time trying to push their own format of something. I think the not backwards compatible part comes from the fact that it wont have a hard drive. Most of the games on the X Box utilize the hard drive in some way, so how would they work if there's no hard drive on the next console? I thought it was funny that everyones favorite feature of the X Box, the hard drive, is getting scrapped for the next console. "Wow, its so cool to be able to save games to the hard drive and rip music to it to play in games!"

For the Gamecube generation anyway, Id rather have EA, which supports the Gamecube and works with Nintendo, to have the liscenses for all the sports than to have to deal with the fact that I wont be able to play any new sports games. Of course, the more I think about it, their 2005 games should tide me over to the Revolution and hopefully more support from 3rd parties so that EA wont be the only company putting out sports titles for it.
