A bit late getting this in, but the Os won their 8th straight. Tejada homered for the 4th straight game. And something I've never seen before, Mora hit a 2 run homer that hit the foul line on the top of the wall and bounced foul and was called a home run (the correct call supposedly). Im sure it will be shown on sportscenter..he announcers were saying it was a shame that Pinella wasnt coaching or there would have been a classic Lou Pinnella argument..

You know whats worse? Those $.25 bags of cheetos. Theres like 9 cheetos in a bag. Granted, its only $.25..but I think its stupid that 9 cheetos would be worth $.25.

Im guessing tonight is the first Nationals game on MASN on Directv (I had noticed the channel in my guide a while back but this is the first time I've seen a game on the channel). The only good thing is that Mel Proctor is doing the game, and I missed hearing him do Orioles games from a while back. Its really pouring there now and the game isn't yet official, 1 out in the top of the 5th.

Yeah..but like I said, even over the last 7 years with the two teams fighting over 4th and 5th place, an O's/D-Rays series would have drawn at least 25,000 at Camden Yards, even more on the weekends. Os 2004 vs 2005 Attenance figures I looked that page up and it seems that Os attendance is up 14% from last year. That is rather skewed though considering last years figures to this point didnt include 5 games vs the Yankees and Red Sox. The 3 game Yankee Series alone drew over 47,000 each game, but the majority of the people in the stands for yet another year *sigh* were Yankees fans.

So, after watching the first place Orioles play a 4pm game vs the Devil Rays in front of an announced crowd of 19,920, and then seeing the 3rd place Nationals playing a 7pm game vs the Mets in front of at least 35,000, if not more.. The Orioles have had some of the lowest attendences at Camden Yards this year despite playing the best ball in April in 36 years..They weren't even drawing these low of figures for the last 7 years when they were horrible. PA was right.

I can understand that the 2nd offense penalty of 100 games is just about the whole baseball season anyway so why bother making the third offense a year off, but they should probably still go with a year suspension before a lifetime ban.

Meh. Football carries a 4 game suspension for first offense doesn't it? 4 games is 25% of their season. 50 games is about 33% of a baseball season. And it would only be appropriate that baseball has a 3 strikes and you're out policy on steroids, even if I think that is rather harsh.

I wouldnt have paid $8 to see it in theatres either (and I doubt the local theatre will play it anyway) but it was on free last weekend on HDNet so I watched it.

I dont get how they mean about ECW Fans finding the DVD. Each week they put out the classic ECW clip on RAW with Heyman saying "buy the DVD or we'll put you through a table". So they promoted the DVD..

All I can say is that Im shocked the Os have a 3 game lead over the Blue Jays on the last day of April, but its a happy shocked. Im also not going to get my hopes up because, even if the Os can keep the pace they've set going, I dont think that the Yankees and Red Sox will keep with their slow starts. The O's desperately need to do well on this 12 game homestand (Im willing to bet the longest of the season..not 100% sure though) vs TB, Toronto, KC and Minnesota. Right now they have a 9-2 record on the road vs a 6-5 record at home and the hitters so far are having a better go of it on the road than at home although the pitching has been about even.
