I was the one going "wild" over their "moves" so far. And I had heard that the Os were interested in Sosa, BUT I really didn't think that anything would come of it.

Supposedly, from ESPN regarding Sosa's contract..: I think the $10 million I heard the Cubs are paying is the part of his $17 million this year. Im not sure if they are paying any part of the 2006 contract, and since its now guaranteed at $18 million, if they dont, that would mean the Os would pay him $25 million over the next 2 years. Not really that bad, but now I see why the Cubs are so desperate to trade him, and why there aren't that many teams that are falling over their feet to go after him. And, I really hope that the O's can work something out to where he doesn't get $19 million in 2007... As far as Ordonez, I would much rather see him as an Oriole than Sosa, but Angelos and company are probably too scared about his injuries to go after him (but the fact they are going after Sosa sorta conflicts with that though..).

Hairston can play the OF.. Of Hairston/Roberts, Im glad they are dealing Hairston. As much as everyone seems to be all over him, I really like Brian Roberts better at 2B. Julio could go too...I really liked him when he first came up, but he's been a big disapointment and probably won't stay the closer much longer in Baltimore anyway. I can't believe the Cubs don't want more than Hairston and 2 prospects for Sosa, which should be like a huge red warning flag..

2 players chasing 600 homers.. Hmm. Apparently, whoever the Cubs get will probably be included in the trade for Huff to Tampa Bay which really might be a bad idea. As bad as the O's play vs TB, the last thing they need is to see any of the guys they trade for Sosa haunt them even after Sosa's gone..

On the good side, they deal Hairston, who was pretty much in limbo with Roberts playing 2B. I really dont care whether or not they keep Julio..in fact, the Cubs could have him for all I care, I'd rather see BJ Ryan as the closer. Sosa might be able to put up good numbers at Camden..and he's technically still a big name player.. I might like the deal more if they rumor of Farnsworth being included is true, but I doubt it. And I hope Sosa doesn't dupe them into some rediculous contract extention (suposedly a requirement for him to waive his no trade clause).

It took me like 20 tries to finally escape the island on the damn jet ski. Either I would go too fast and run into the rocks that fell down or too slow and get caught up in the wave thing. Saddler was pretty much a push over, although I could see how it would be difficult if you had to rely on Ada for the rocket launcher twice (I had brought one with me just in case..). I figured out that you needed to shoot the eyes on the kneecaps (using the infared scope you could tell) and then as I was running under it to get away from it, I saw the CLIMB ON command, I did that and realized I needed to do that. So...now Im messing around with the Mercenaries mode and the Ada Mission.
