I heard a radio commercial for the RR today and one of the local radio stations here are giving away RR prize packs (autographed stuff from Edge is the big thing).

Heymans "Buy the DVD or we'll break your neck through a table" with accompanied ECW classic footage wasn't enough promotion for you? They did it on every show for about a month. Oh..and the Flair DVD set is better. And I can't believe most places want $29 for the ECW set. I was happy to find it on sale after Christmas for $22, just like last year with the Flair set (got it for like $24 after Christmas instead of $35). I must have lucked out. I bought it for $16 the day it came out with a free RVD figure. @ Best Buy? Mine didn't have it when it came out. I asked them if they had it and they were like "Huh?" The only place locally that I could find that sold it was FYE, and they had it on sale for $22, orig. Price $29. I would have bought it online cheaper, but I had a ton of gift certificates to cash in..

If they want SmackDown! on UPN in 2007, they will make Booker T champion. John Cena is more likely. Best of both worlds!

Why don't you have cable? Well..in the literal sense, Cable isn't available to everyone..but he could get Satelite TV, but maybe he doesn't want to spend $50+ a month on it.

Vince might as well go ahead and launch a network devoted to wrestling and put both RAW and Smackdown on there. RAW's contract is up with Spiketv soon too, and if he messes around much, it could end up that neither gets on TV. Granted that RAW is still probably the highest rated cable show not featuring a pants wearing sponge, but I dont think many networks will clammor over either show. I doubt that a broadcast network will take a chance on the WWE now though, in the era of "OMG, we might get fined by the FCC if we show _____".

UPN isn't even in enough markets to really be taken seriously as a major network. It really doesn't make sense to cancel your highest rated show to try and make the network better. and damnit, I was hoping that Smackdown would be in HD on UPN this fall, but thats not gonna happen now.
